"If you call that exciting," Merrick said with a shrug. "Nothing exciting though."

Samantha just nodded as Regan started fussing. She handed her daughter a small piece of fruit only for Regan to start sucking on it.

"How about you, Jason? Anything interesting?" Amber asked.

[Lexi Something]

"The company is doing great. Its in the top three in our industry and I'm going to have to visit some of the other offices soon after we get things squared away here," Jason said with a small smile.

"Taking Roger with you?" Amber asked.

[Lexi Something]

"I'm not sure yet. I'm having dinner with him tomorrow," Jason said.

"Hopefully he doesn't get jealous then," Amber said, referring to Roxana. 'I can smell her on you. Be careful with him,' she thought to Jason.

"He already knows," Jason said.

Amber nodded a bit.

"So, Roxana, what do you do for a living?" Chloe asked.

[Victorian Dreams]

"I work in a department store. And you can call me Roxie," Roxana said.

[Lexi Something]

"Oh, that's exciting," Chloe said.

[Victorian Dreams]

"Yeah. The entitled customers definitely make things interesting," Roxana said with a slight hint of sarcasm.

Samantha giggled a bit. "We know a few of those people," she said.

Roxana nodded a bit. "I get paid almost minimum wage to work with the more wealthy. It comes with its stories though," she said.
