Located: The Cafe || Company: the customers:Ezra and Bigby || Thoughts: Why does he have to be here?
★ As soon as Ruby finished with her pie she picked up the plate and continued back on with her shift. She was a lot tighter lipped when she was full. Taking all of her energy into digesting her food as quickly as possible instead of running her mouth. At least, that was usually. Ding ding ding ding The bell chimed and her head twisted to see Boss talking to someone. His body language quickly changed to one of disgust. As soon as the large man turned to move his wide load the person he was conversing with came into view. Bigby. Red's eyes narrowed ever so slightly. Hopefully he hadn't seen her yet. But seeing as she was the only waitress in at the time meant that he was going to see her at one point or another. Boss placed the poor man at the furthest booth from the place's entrance and seemingly ignored the man's order of sausage and bacon. Oh, and of course a cup of coffee. Quite the carnivore this one was. Ruby placed the order herself and skitted around the cafe, making sure everyone had had their fill and were happy. She did all of this of course, with her back carefully placed to Bigby so she only had to interact with him when absolutely necessary. "Order Up!" Looked as if that time were now.
★ Red sauntered off slowly to pick up Bigby's plate and get him a warm cup of coffee before heading to his booth. Just before she got there, however, another woman stepped in the door, cut off Red, and boldly placed herself down in the seat across from Big. The redhead's eyes widened for a split second then she felt a fire burn under her. Who was this woman to think she could just waltz right in here and sit down across from Bigby like that? Apparently she was new here and needed to be taught the ropes. You didn't mess with Big, and if you did he was likely to bite back. And now she was about to make it all the more difficult going and interacting with him. Of course, she had to. It was her job after all. And for god's sake he had to know that she worked in this cafe. She had for a good seven months and she'd seen him in here more than a time or two. With a purpose in her walk she strolled right up to the table and dropped his plate of meat in front of him and carelessly plopped the cup of coffee down as well. If this woman didn't know what Big was like, she was certainly about to find out. Red turned her back to Big and looked at the woman as she placed a hand on the table and the other on her him and smiled at her.
★ "What can I get you there, doll?" Because not only was it bad enough that she had almost spilled a cup of coffee on him, she was now blatantly ignoring him, and interrupting his conversation with this lady with the pixie cut. "Haven't seen you around here before. New?" Red questioned the woman, it was probably out of place for her to do, but who cared. She was only trying to make suggestions as to what the woman might like to eat. "The Storyteller's Cafe has the best pie you will ever taste. I could get you a slice. How about our special we've got...." There she went, launching into the typical waitress-y thing to do. Oh well, it just gave her time to piss Big off even further. It wouldn't be the smart thing to do in the long run but once Red got going it was incredibly hard for her to quit. "Or even just a cup of coffee. I'll be right back with that. Don't worry, seeing as how you're sitting with Big I'll go ahead and add it to his tab." Ruby pushed herself off of the table then winked at Big and marched away from the table. Her steps, however, became less and less powerful the further she got from their table. She shouldn't have done that. She really shouldn't have done that.
