The pink haired man only smirked at the other's statements. "If that gets you hard, then whatever works for you," he replied with a coy note in his voice, leaning forward with a hand on his hip. Straightening up again, he looked upon the group suddenly interested in the walking armored wall over there. The voice that came out of the helmet didn't speak English. "This makes things interesting, doesn't it?" he said, once the words had been said. "I don't suppose any of you speak Japanese, huh?" He knew that they would normally have to rely on Almus for that. He probably threw this little monkey wrench into their group on purpose. A little grin crossed his face. He liked it when things were fun.
Clause recognized the language Gizumo spoke, albeit not understand what he said. The language existed on Knephas, but more so it was a language he recognized from memories years ago; warm comforting memories, but painful to recall now. He shook off these feelings quickly however, what was important to this situation is that he knew it was a language that exists in his realm. He placed his hand over the sleek wristwatch on his left arm. Light sprung from his hand and enveloped his watch, which then proceeded to envelope his body. The light fading leaving what looked to be white armor with a black bodysuit underneath. The Armor was polished, but not made from metal.
"Alright, can you say that again?" he asked Gizumo; his voice, being transmitted through his air tight helmet, was slightly electronically distorted.

Further he was surprised by the transformation that had occurred, but he was not so sure. Since he was asking him to talk again, he suspected that meant that his helmet could translate, yet he had experience with lots of translators. Still, he decided to try and he spoke again. 「ハイパワー強化スーツのよ。んじゃこの無人島の探検するっしょ?珍しいものだべ。」
As he said this, he turned away from them, looking around. He was not sure that he could figure out all of the riddles and tricky things that Almus had left hidden around for them, so he turned to Crymos for a minute, then turned back to the islands. He did want to go take a look after all.
As Gizumo spoke Claus' suit recognized his language. It recorded every word he said translating every word into it's closest English equivalent and transcribed it on the HUD of his visor.
「ハイパワー強化スーツのよ。んじゃこの無人島の探検するっしょ?珍しいものだべ。」
High-power enhancements of the suit. I think of this uninhabited island to explore first? It's very rare.

Unfortunately, though his suit's computer is powerful, it is still simply a machine, and all it can do is substitute words for closest English equivalent, unable to translate it grammatically or understand the implied. Claus was disappointed how little Gizumo was willing to share about his armor and he could see he was far more interested in exploring then talking. Wings flipped up from his back, he turned for a moment and said to the group "he want's to explore," right before bright blue flames erupted from the wings lifting him into the air. From his Aeriel view with his sight enhancing visor he surveyed the islands for anything of particular interest to investigate.
Crymos let out a little laugh at the man's demeanor. "Well you certainly mean business, don't you?"
He had only a moment to turn to the apparent conversation between Gizumo and Claus before he flew off. Turning to the group that was still on the ground, he shrugged a bit before surveying the area. He supposed they should look around, and knowing Almus, there was likely something to be found hidden away.
The first thing that really caught his eye was that archway over on the hill. It did seem out of place, so he decided to go have a look. He walked over to the area, standing before the archway and looking it over.
Ace felt disappoint flare through him when he couldn't understand the man in the silver suit. So he turned to start exploring the floating island that they were on. He was curious about what was below the island so he walked through the grass that came to mid calf and stood off to the side of the bridge and looked over. His eyes widen at the sight of black empty space, "That's interesting." He murmured.

Ace turned to keep exploring when a loud crack shot through the air. He looked around confused and then all of a sudden the ground right under him dropped away. He didn't even get the chance to move forward to grab the edge of the land before he was falling into the black abyss. A quick shout came out of his mouth before he vanished into the blackness.

A minute or two later strong magical winds whipped up above the base of the stairs and Ace was dropped into the exact spot he arrived in earlier. His green and yellow eyes impossibly wide and his skin extremely white. "I'm... Alive?"
Pink hair was in Ace's view as he leaned over him. "Well now," he said, nodding his head over Ace's body. "We know that we won't lose any lives doing that now, will we?"
Sighing and straightening up, he decided that he might as well go in the direction that the others were going in. That archway was looking quite odd over there.
Crymos had turned around when he heard yelling. "Good thing," he said after the other man, nodding a bit before going back toward the archway.
"What's your name, anyway?" he asked the pink haired man.
While he would undoubtedly answer it, they made their way up the little hill, turning to stand before the archway. Crymos looked it over.
Gizumo had simply fallen silent as the group turned their attention away from him. He tensed suddenly when the other had fallen, but didn't even know where to turn at first. Seeing that he had appeared again without much injury, the silvery armored one came by and offered the hand that wasn't encased in his arm cannon to help him up. Waving his arm for him to follow, he went after Crymos and the other man, watching his little sash over his shoulder undulate like a snake.
Once they had gotten to the archway, he gave it a good look too. He wasn't that optimistic that he would figure the same sort of precise detail that Crymos might from it, so he paid careful attention to his assessment of the thing.

Upon approaching the stone and marble archway, they'd find that it was decorated lavishly with figures carved right out of the stone all wearing various wraps and sashes. The archway was bordered by pillar-like extrusions on each corner and had a second tier over the entranceway. Across the top of the archway, there was a plaque with the following carved into it:

ARXSTRATA MCDXLVI

Beyond this, there were no other indications as to what it was. It was an archway that led nowhere in particular, merely sitting atop a hill in an open area. Only the cathedral stood to its left, from whence they had just come. Behind them, across from the archway, there was another bridge that led to a lower island; otherwise they would have to return the way they came.

From Claus's aerial view, he would see that there were several islands of varying size, the largest being the one housing the cathedral. There were about seven or eight smaller islands around the area, most of them connected by bridges. He would be able to see that there were some other little islands that were previously obscured by the mountainous edge of one island; they were accessible by passing through a small tunnel that was burrowed right into the side of the mountains. There were somewhat strange structures erected sporadically throughout the archipelago: there was a large tree trunk on one island, a larger-than-life treasure chest, a gigantic Japanese lantern, among other things.
He would also notice, were he to look for it, that his space faring vehicle that he arrived on had completely vanished; no sign of it would be found anywhere on the archipelago.
"Felix," he replied to Crymos.
When they reached the archway, he looked it over. What was all that supposed to mean? He never understood the language that Almus used, which is what he suspected this to be. Shrugging it off, he turned away and set off across one of the arched bridges behind him, going over to the next island.
On this lower and considerably smaller island, there was a round tower made of the same dark material as the cathedral, but there was only the one tower. It was rather wide and had a large wooden door. Without consideration, he simply went inside.
Crymos's eyes wandered up and down the archway until his gaze reached the plaque at the top. He recognized that name, but he couldn't quite remember from where. He couldn't exactly remember how that numerical method worked either. He knew that I was one and V was five. X was ten as well. But what was L? Wasn't M one hundred? Shaking his head, he turned it to the ground.
Just then, he noticed that Felix was gone. He only turned around just in time to see him going into the tower on the next island over. Letting out a sigh and glancing over at Gizumo, he went after the other, crossing the bridge and going into the tower.
There was nothing to say, but that's often what Gizumo did. Say nothing. He followed Crymos without much of a thought, taking in the scenery as he walked. How did the grass stay so shiny and green like that? He looked up when Felix mentioned his name, making sure to stick the name in his mind.
Certainly he was interested in hearing what Crymos would say about the arch, since it was very curious that it was here just out in the open, but there wasn't much said. Instead, they were going after Felix, who had made like he didn't know any of them and wandered off. As he walked after Crymos, he wondered what Almus had planned for him in particular.
As he surveyed the land he caught out of the corner of his vision that his ship was gone. He then realized it hadn't just moved, it was gone, he was unable to feel the presence of his ship. He turned towards the cathedral, his eyes narrowed. His wings swept back and the blue flames grew in intensity as he shot off like a bullet making a bee line for the cathedral, if this person had the power to bring him here he was the prime suspect of removing his ship. He came to a landing at the entrance and entered the building, staying alert and observing his surroundings.
Ace blinked and then used the man in the suits hand to get up and trailed after everyone else as they walked to the archway. He looked at it slightly curious, but the symbols on the archway meant nothing to him. He heard Crymos sigh and saw Felix disappear into the tower. Ace being the curious elf he is, skipped a head of everyone to slip inside the tower after Felix.
