Oh to be a fly on the wall in THAT courtroom. I mean, this takes some serious chutzpah to demand leniency for a crime on the basis of carrying around evidence of the crime. Here's to hoping her sentence is worse just for wasting the court's time on such a notion.

If anything, the should put her on house arrest if it truly is a complicated pregnancy and then make her do her full sentence after the birth. Its not the babies fault its mother was dumb and it does deserve to get the best care still. However, she still should have to pay the piper in the end.

Apparently the 'deviate' part refers to oral or a**l sex, and the 'involuntary' part is because people aged 14 cannot give legal consent to have sex with a person over 18, no matter how much they wanted to have sex.

I agree i actually think i would be in favor of delaying the sentence maybe, just so the baby got the best care it could.

Yes! Also instead of being adopted out like someone said, should go to the womans husband. If the encounters with the 14 yo happened 2 years ago there is no way it is his child.

It's a pretty solid bet that in this forum someone will appear and go "feminists won't want this woman to be charged because she's preggers' or some garbage to that effect. Someone did so the last time a story like this cropped up, and the story before that, and the story before that. I just beat them to the punch this go around.
