My first horror game was Resident Evil 1 on the PS1. I remember playing it over a friends place. Scared me at certain points and still does to this day.

Technically Resident Evil 2 but I was so little all I really remember is the thing with the alligator or whatever.
The first one I really played and beat was probably either Cold Fear or Eternal Darkness, I think I had them around the same time.

After that the original Resident Evil.

I just thought it was an action game. lol

Not necessarily MY first horror game that I played... BUT- my first horror game that I witnessed was Resident Evil. (with the one monster that was made out of worms or leaches or something)

I was probably only about 9 or 10 and it gave me the absolute willies.
