They're not really for selling. From my observations, alchemy components are seperated into leagues of rarity by their shop worth. 10g is a more common item, 100g is a bit rarer, and than 1000 and 5000 gold tend to be items that need to be crafted from other components. It's like an indication of the item's rarity.

Hmmm...

There's a scavenger hunt coming up, and these keys are a part of alchemy, sooooo...

I'm guessing that there's gonna be a scavenger hunt in which we need to hunt for rare alchemy components, and these keys gives us hints or whatever to where those items are!

Nah, that's just stupid.

But the fact that what we got are shaped like keys itself is a clue...

Alot of them come from zOMG, and then there's daily chance... you can get some ingrediants there like toggles. And some of those rqare giftbox whatever you call it can gvie out alchemy components too.

I'm guessing (no proof or anything, just a gut feeling) that they're the start of the backwings quest. =w= So I'm holding on to mine, for sure, no matter how much they can sell for.
