I was granted the Angelic Rod four minutes before this thread was made.

Here are my statistics.

Note:
- I didn't get the rod in the initial grant despite fishing one bucket at the Port of Gambino some time last month.
- I've fished eight buckets within the last week. Five at Bass'ken Lake and three at the Port of Gambino.

I think that people really need to consider what was said...

There are lots of CANNY guesses going on the fishing forum.
And you've said that people that have gotten mostly junk have gotten rods as well.


I think that, if I had to take a stab in the dark here, the angelic rod's grants are based on CANS ... not fish.

Just my two cents.

Thankyou for making this Guide! I was wondering, how do you find your over all score? I seem to only find the individual score for each lake.

I used the sum formula to add them up in the spreadsheet. So basically, just manually add everything up. There is a nice little add-on using greasemonkey that was available at one time. But I'm not sure if Sigma ever re-uploaded her scripts. But I'm pretty sure it doesn't add the junk and junk score to the total buckets and total score that her script shows. I'm not sure if anyone out there has any copies of them lying around or not. xP

I find the first sentence of that announcement in error because apparently not everyone that has a high bucket count or fished a lot since 2010 did not get the rod.

Outside of Sir Kitteh who has a trading pass issue, who else doesn't have a rod that has over 75k fish? At last check the lowest fish count I have in my spreadsheet for rod owners is 76371.

And the highest without a rod is II Shuyin II sitting at 68437.

And since I haven't heard back from K Prime yet, he may be the highest non-rod holder with 73942, which would solidify the speculated 75k number.

Since buckets can be saved with just one fish, we are pretty sure that Gaia would have gone with the fish over bucket numbers. So having a high bucket count won't necessarily mean anything if you saved a lot of partial buckets.
