FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why do I need a pair of the slippers, in order to join your guild?
Because the guild was created for people who own a pair of the slippers. The members are the ones who help put on events like this one.

Why are the tickets 1500 gold?
Because the cost of the slippers in the Marketplace are so high, we need to raise the funds to buy them, so we have multiple pairs to give out as prizes at each event.

Do I need more than 1 ticket to enter the contests?
No, 1 ticket entitles you to enter all of the contests.

Do I need a ticket if I just want to play the games?
No, the games are open to everyone; even guild members.

Where did the Pink Bunny Slippers come from?
They were a prize during the 2009 Easter event, and were awarded to anyone who managed to collect 500 Easter eggs from around Gaia.

How can I get a pair of the slippers now?
You would either have to buy a pair from the Marketplace, be gifted a pair by someone else, or enter one of our contests during one of our events, and be the 1st place winner.

If I win 1st place in more than one contest or game, will I win multiply pairs of the slippers?
No, you can only win 1 pair of the slippers. If you happen to win more than 1 contest or game, you will choose between a gold prize and another item prize.

Why don't guild members have to buy a ticket?
Because it is through the guild members that many of our pairs of slippers are made available. And since they already own a pair, they are not eligible to enter the contests anyway.

I've sent my trade, but it hasn't been accepted yet. Is this for real?
Yes, this event is for real. We have a good track record here on Gaia. If your trade has not been accepted within 2 days, make sure you sent a PM as instructed to do, with the message: "Trade Sent" in the Subject line.

Can I send my contest entry in before the 17th?
No. You have to wait until the Giveaway actually starts.

~ Post 5: BLACKJACK ~

~Game Rules~

1. When I post the picture above you must PM me if you want to play in the current game. ( The first 5 players to PM me will be in that game.)

2. Do not delete a post once you have generated a number. If caught you will be disqualified from all future games.

3. Follow the prescribed format when you post. (See below for posting format)

~Game Instructions~

1. I will post the image above to announce the start of the coming game.

2. Be one of the first 5 players to PM me, saying "I'm all in."

3. I will PM you back, letting you know you are in the upcoming game.

4. When the game starts, I will generate a number between 1 - 11.

5. Take the number I get, and add it to the number you get when you generate a number between 1 - 10. (Example shown below)

6. Go back and Edit your post like this: 8 + 3 = 11 On subsequent numbers, just add them to the previous total: 11 + 4 = 15 15 + 5 = 20 Staying on 20.

7. If you get 21, Edit your post saying: BLACKJACK!

8. You may continue to generate numbers between 1 - 10 until you either get a hand you wish to stay on, or you bust. (You Bust if you go over 21)

9. The first player to either get 21, or the highest hand by the time the game ends, will be declared the winner.

10. The game will be over on the page designated at the start of the game. I will verify all numbers generated, announce the winner of that hand, and send out the prize.

HOW TO GENERATE A NUMBER

For those new people to the world of the RNG (Random Number Generator), this is how you do it.

Open a post window.
On the right hand side you will see Post Action.
From the drop down box choose Random Number.
Two boxes will be displayed.
Put a 1 in the top box and 10 in the bottom box.
Hit the Submit button to enter your post. Your number will be generated and will show up, above your post.
To enter your number into your post, click the Edit button.

Colouring Contest

On a cold night of December, a small group of bunnies were patiently waiting outside their home. Snowman was worried that they may get cold, so he promptly suggested them to get inside. The littlest of them all said in a soft voice: "But... I want to say thanks to Santa!". Snowman soon understood that it was Christmas Eve and that the little children were eager to get their presents. Sighing, he took one of them in his arms to keep him warm.

While the bunnies are waiting for their gifts, your job is to put some colour into their world. Be creative! Not all bunnies are black or white.

Christmas Around the World Tektek Contest!!!

What do i do to win?
Create a tektek using traditional clothing from the country you choose and make it a Christmas avi. You will have the 7 days left to create ONE tektek and submit it to me ^.^. Simple right. SUBMIT BY DECEMBER 23rd. That's the last day to the contest.

Here are the countries. Remember, you have to make an avi for ONE of these countries. Make it a christmas themed avi using the traditional clothing of that country (ex: Japan-kimono)

The game will last for a certain number of pages or time, which will be specified each time the image is posted.

Whoever throws the most snowballs on those pages wins a prize -- this is NOT a slipper contest, but you will get something nifty. You must have at least five snowball posts to win.
