Don't worry, just give the thread some time and advertise like you-know-what. If you're really pressed for people, you can e-mail Gaia and ask them to advertise this event on the front page. Granted, it will attract spammers, pollwhores, people who don't read the front page, etc. However, you will get people participating.

So outweigh those options first.

BTW, if you have enough gold, I'd invest in a thread layout for your event to make it look pretty. If not, you can always buy banners yourself in the Personalized Graphics sub-forum of the Mini Shops Forum.

Well, I was planning to do the spot light for december, so I'll be sending the email soon. And I have a contest for the banners. I have a lot of gold at the moment, but I'm planning on doing a lot of contests to get people in so I'll be spending most of it on prizes.
But that you very much for that advice.

No problem. Like I said, be wary of bad users, because if you get a thread spotlighted, you're going to get a ton of them.

BTW, what kind of contests are you looking to hold? I might join the contests, but due to the fact that I can't spare any gifts, I don't think I'll be able to join the secret santa. Unless some miracle pops up like an extra 1000 Cash, I won't be able to buy a quality gift.
