That's actually what I planned on doing next year for my Nightmare Moon cosplay, if I end up doing that (only Pinkie Pie and Chopper are the cosplays I'm doing for sure).
But yeah, I think you'll look great. Besides, you're cosplaying... since when have most cosplayers cared about how they look in public?

I'm the same way normally, but when I cosplay, I look at it as being someone completely different and then it doesn't bother me so much.
I know that sounds weird, but it works for me.
Every other day of the year I worry about how I appear to other people, but when I cosplay, I throw those worries out the window.
