Wearing an odd item that symbolizes something special

Even if it totally clashes with your avatar, do you wear an odd item because it means something special to you? I like to wear the silver BFF heart necklace because it's the closest thing to the first gift that my boyfriend gave me (An anatomically correct silver heart necklace)

- Maybe a RIG pet that looks similar to a deceased pet? (trying to get Mrs. Butterscotch for my Pomeranian that passed away). Thank you so much Rozureido! heart heart heart

- A theme that describes your personality or a life changing event

I do have several items that I can't seem to want to remove. My fixed items that do not really blend well with anything other than my demonic outfits. The NMHB, DT(several types), Dark Halo tail, HotD, for instance. Imagine trying to make an angelic avatar or even a white or light themed one and there are those dark, pointy things sticking out. I really should stop doing that, but after 10 years, it's definitely a bad habit.

It's hard to get rid of items that you've been wearing for ages. Especially when they've become part of your trademark appearance

My other problem is I keep adding to that list. I need to control that unhealthy attachment to stuff. xd It does help there are recolors so I can switch around to address palette shifts, but there are definitely limits in terms of themes.

I wear the the Tink's Jealousy necklace nearly all the time, as long as something else doesn't bump it off.

I'm wearing because I also have a necklace with a talisman in real life. It has the tiger riding god Cai Shen on the front and Sun Wukong on the reverse for wisdom.
I got it from a temple near my grandma's house in Bangkok near Sao Chingcha. It's a temple I've been going to since I was little. I try to go every year to pay my respects.

I don't know if it counts as something special, but I wear my hotd and mini nitemare wings even on avis that look bad with them. I also wear a pretty standard face: lamenting lucie makeup, hollywood lips in a matching color, then either lovely lucie lashes or mysterious captain eyeshadow. I just like the way my face looks in that.

To keep it short - it reminds me of a sad stretch of time when I was a little kid. I buy one every day, i'd like to have 1,ooo but I don't know if i'd stop even then. It's very sentimental.

Other than that, I have this Silver Promise ring i'm always wearing but you can't see.
I got it waaaay back when they were first released.
I didn't know it at the time, but years later I realized that the message the person sent it to me with was referring to a yaoi porn.

For me lately, it's my Russell Ace doll. I wear it because he's my favorite NPC and if nothing else, I need to wear him to remind people that he exists. xD I used to wear him all the time but then I started slacking for like a year. I just recently got back into wearing him mostly because I tend to not unequip everything when I change because I've also been wearing my Object head with nearly every avatar since I got it.

Usually, I wear my abyss angelic minis a lot. That's because I've wanted them for a solid 10 years. XD

I never really liked the shape of the nitemare minis and the weird angelic blue color of the angelics was a turn off as well, not that I could have afforded a pair of them back then. I've always said that if they made a black pair of angelic minis, I would get them.

So guess what happened. And guess what I did. XD The pure white ones were really nice too, but I had to get my black angelics at last. Usually if im not wearing them, im wearing my DJs, another thing I'd wanted since forever that I finally obtained earlier this year.

I like to wear my Sonic companion from time to time. A lot of people think it's a cheap item [because it was a freebie] but I really like Sonic, and he holds a lot of memories of when my dad spent time with me; Sonic the Hedgehog was his favourite game.

He thinks I'm too grown up to do anything with now. He has grandchildren though from his step-daughter so like yeah.

I own one of the original '07 Grunny MCs. I haven't equipped it in years, but I can't sell it because it was my first (and last, lol) quest.

I wear a ring on every avatar no matter what. Not sure why, I just do. I wish we had more that the promis rings and the Roco one (and the saint ciel ones, but I rarely remember/use those.)
