The casino, will you participate?

I've heard a lot about the upcoming casino feature and I have mixed feelings about it. Frankly, it really depends what the probability factor is and what items you can win. If playing there costs a lot of gold for little chance of getting something sweet, then I probably won't go.

I'm also afraid that the casino might become a potentially bad thing for new people. Instead of putting time towards posting, they might spend it all on gambling.


I'm also interested in what kind of NPCs will run the casino. I've heard there's a male/female one, but that's all.


Anyway, what do you all think about the upcoming casino feature?

i heard about all of the items, and I also heard that there will only be a slot machine.... I might try it sometime, but if you only get items instead of gold, then people will stop once they get the items

Hey, if it gets a good portion of the new users out of the forums, then they should do it. I'd still be lurking/posting randomly in the forums, like I do fishing. It won't affect me, just another way to get more gold.

But with every new feature, comes the hazzard of bringing in more people and more mules to get more of the same items. More people may mean more spam topics then the mods could handle. Maybe the admins will hire more mods in the future.

Of course, there is always the people who will complain that gambling is too hard, more ways to get gold, more gold for lurking/posting. It's the same thing, basically. I tend to ignore it.

But, anyways, I'm looking forwards to the casino opening. Maybe there will be some good prizes and even a large jackpot drawing every month. 3nodding

I'm not really interested in it to tell the truth, I'll buy the items from the marketplace eventually and just let other people do the hard work.

I hate gambling.

I'll be sticking to slots and probably black jack for the most part. Also, if they have Texas Hold'em I might join as well. It all depends what sort of games they actually have around the casino.

But first, I'll need about 500k gold to spend there and eventually lose. Heck, I think I lost around 50k or so on the fishing game when ti first came out, and I'll end up spending a hold heck lot more on the Battle system.

Though, I've never truelly been a fan of all the casino mini games that appear in a bunch of games. Perhaps if they had pool...

I am a very poor gaian so most likely when it first comes out I will spend up to 1k and then come back time to time just to have some fun.

It seems like another way for me to waste gold. I guess it depends on how much it will cost, the chances of winning another, if it's any fun. I'll see when it comes out. smile
