Hmm. I'm cool with doing both styles, but my main style is actually Realistic. I guess. Aside from the new addition of these wings, everything on my main outfit is realistic. In a fantastical way?

But when I feel like a change - I always go for a heavily fantasy-based avatar. That doesn't happen too often, though.

Fantastical for sure! Though I do have a few realistic ones I made just because the items worked for the avi, so I sorta bounce back and forth. Fantasy avi's are more my thing. >w<

Definitely more to the fantastical side.

Realistic avatars are too boring for me. I love others that pull them off well, but not for me wink

I'm more of a fantasy avatar fan. I did have this thing on my old main account back in the day, where no matter what, my avi was always holding a shamrock since I'm Irish in real life.
Too real gets boring though, like all the plain avis in the arena with the title "just me" or that time my mom asked why my avi didn't have the same hair color as me.

I prefer fantastical avatars, though I do make more realistic avis every so often if the urge hits.

Fantasy, though, is my thing. Always gonna be some sort of fairy, elf, mage, etc. Its just more fun that way.

hmmm I suppose my avatars drift more towords the realistic side with a pinch of fantasy thrown in. Mine are always soldiers or queens.

Fantastical for the most part (especially considering my OC is a tengu)
but if I'm cosplaying as something realistic I'll go realistic if need be

I mean my tengu does dress realistically some times
so there is some mix between the two and some happy medium

Fantasy for sure.
I like making magical OCs.
The one time I made a realistic avatar or noir something, I hated it. So plain. I know people are able to make lovely, detailed realistic avvies....but I'm not one of em.

I like fantastical! Not that I'd say no to a good realistic avi, but my own tastes are toward the bright, colorful, and fantastic for sure!

Given that I'm always a cat, I guess fantastical. But I guess I can make some outfits that look realistic, even if my base isn't. My ((current)) NaNo avi is pretty much what I wear IRL when doing NaNo ((even though I don't have cartoon mood bubbles or a vortex of time behind me, it's pretty much spot on of what happens during November. Yes, even the cat)).
