Gaia going to hell...

Ever since the Casino opened I think Gaia has began to go to hell. I see N00Bs ans Newbs with NM scarfs and OMG's now because they got three Halo's in 5 minutes of playing in the Casino. This makes me mad because all theese new people are going around thinking they are better than other people because got lucky and sold the items they bought and got something good. Now what about us, we work hard for our items and they are joined for a week and get a OMG thats not right. I think this damned Casino is ******** up Gaia and I think they need to change something around here.

Also I think this Casino will cause major inflation.

Well I have contemplaited quiting Gaia because I saw a girl who joined a week ago and knew nothing had the same items as me and more.

The item whom costed the most was the pimp shirt and it took me 3 months. My current shirt took me 2 months. Seeing a newbie richer than me...well seem unfair. So I understand how you feel.

Yes, its true, its very sad. Ive been on Gaia for a long long time now and its still a dream for me to have a NM Scarf, seeing a newb with a total of 40 posts with one...just makes me wanna cry.

Its sad, because they wont even backsell all the rich items they get at a fair price, just rise it cause they havnt been on here long enough to know the items value.

Hasn't the casino caused deflation already? I saw some people complaining about it. It can't cause inflation because the casino doesn't give out gold. People can get gold for selling stuff from the casino, but that gold is from other users and would have been considered in circulation and causing inflation.

I don't think you should hate the casino just because slots are all luck. Sure, they might not have to work as hard as you did, but everyone has the same chances to get three halos. If you had been the one to get three halos and trade the tickets/items for an OMG or something like that, I doubt that you would be complaining.

Besides, you don't think a random n00b would be able to get rich off of Gaia Fishing? Heck, if they manage to catch a gemback or a candy striper, they've got it made.

I get tired of people complaining about games based on luck. The same thing happened Christmas 2003 when the Barton Charities gave out fairy wings to random people. So what if the receiver didn't have to work hard for it. It might just be a nice surprise for some nice newbie or oldbie that does deserve it. Luck happens.

gaia is a free site? so what if a few newbs got items quickly. there free. its a free site, noone paid real money for there items. i think your just a bit jellous =/

I'm absolutely pleased as can be that new members finally have a way to access items that were previously inaccessable to them. This is completely awesome! I have my fair share of 03 donation items, and I didn't work for them at all - I was simply a member at the time. Why should anyone be depraved of having the chance to get those items? Who cares who they are or when they joined?

Notice how I'm not wearing any of those 03 donation items? I'm bored of seeing them! Stop placing value on items simply because they are "virtually" expensive, then maybe the site will be more fun for you.
