Dangerous Shapeshifter

[. Julian lifted his gaze from the woman who sat before him to the one who'd entered and brows furrowed together in befuddlement. She didn't look like someone or even something that he'd expect to see traipsing through the doors of his little hole-in-the-wall, and he could barely suppress the grunt of a chuckle that escaped shortly after irides absent of pupils gave her a quick once-over.

And then another.
A male, this time, who'd entered shortly after the girl and sat himself down at the end of the bar. The sharp spaded tip of Julian's tail gave a subtle twitch and he, not wanting to walk the length between them before he needed to, called a greet to the man.]

"Evenin', Brother. Can I get you a drink?"

He looked down towards the bartender, and nodded his head. "I'll just have a beer, something dark preferably." He slipped of his jacket and scarf and set them on the back of the stool. "You got a jukebox or something in here? Some music would be nice."

She finished off the rest of her gin quickly.

Digging through a pocket in her jeans, she produced some money and placed it beside the empty glass. Then she'd stand up and call over to the bartender. "I've gotta get going now. I left money for ya."

A wave, a nod of her head, and she was soon out the door.

((It was nice RPing with you. ^^ ))

Dangerous Shapeshifter

" 'Fraid not, brother. I got a deck'a cards, if'n yer bored. Otherwise, I'm a little lackin' in the entertainment department. Haven't gotten 'round to it yet. "

[ He replied whilst moving to get the man his requested beer. Julian had never been fond of beer, particularly the scent, and was a challenged to deliver it to the male with a neutral expression. It was nothing personal, of course, he was only opinionated. He carried the drink, nonetheless and would offer up no complaint of it. Verbally, at least. ]

"Sorry for it, brother."

"Thats fine." He said as he took the beer and sipped on it for a few moments. After a couple a few minutes he finished his drink, and set a few dollars down on the bar. "I best be off. I have a long journey ahead. Maybe I'll stop in on the way back." He then picked up his things and walked out the door.

((Gotta go to bed, got work in 5 hours lol.)))

Dangerous Shapeshifter

[. The demon blinked. Just as quickly as they'd come, they'd all disappeared, and he was left on his own once more. A small smile found his face and he set to cleaning up. How interesting. ]

Dangerous Shapeshifter

[. A new dawn, a new day. With a yawn so wide his jaw appeared to have unhinged, Julian plopped himself down onto on of the bar stools and let his head fall forward; forehead striking the hard wooden surface with a loud thud. He'd never really been a morning person, and doubted anyone would venture in, but he had nothing better to do with his day except to wait. .]

Another loud thud came from the doors as the blonde came back in, not very diligent with his walking either as he knocked a few chairs over. He looked like he'd just pretty much rolled out of bed and didn't bother to get himself to look nice, either. He ended up back here, he wasn't sure exactly WHY he came back here in this place. Perhaps the whiskey was just that good. Alcohol in the morning seemed like a horrible idea to begin with, but who said a little bourbon in some coffee would kill you? He had, what looked like, evident smeared makeup marks on his face when he came into view as he went to settle himself at a stool. Without really casting Julian a glance, he looked around though kept in mind that it was still morning and who the Hell comes to a bar in early mornings of the day? Besides him, apparently. He pulled out a new packet of cigarettes, lighting a single one as he finally glanced to the side over at the other demon. " Hows this chump of a place holding up? Scare anyone off yet?"

Dangerous Shapeshifter

[. The sharp surge of pain that had come when he'd dropped his head to the counter top had very nearly lulled Julian back to sleep until the unmistakable sounds of the lumbering blond filled the room. He hadn't needed to open his eyes or look up to know for sure. The clatter of chairs as they fell caused his tail to give an irritable twitch; it was too early to deal with anything and so he chose to ignore it. ]

"'Dunno bout scarin' anyone off. Missed a few but.. whatever. "

[. Another yawn then, and Julian finally lifted his head and brought arms up, his form twisting and contorting as he stretched out as many muscles as he could before recoiling with a groan, not even bothering to look over. ]

" Well, s**t. Maybe you should hire some people already." He inhaled some smoke, blowing it in Julian's direction as he propped his boots up on the table. He kept a careful eye on the other as he stretched, a smirk spreading across his face as he did so. "You gotta hire some women dancers in here or something. That'll get you some customers, don't you think?"

Dangerous Shapeshifter

"Probably. Y'know any? "

[. Julian didn't. He chuckled, more to himself than anything, and reached across the counter to where he'd left his deck of cards and began the redundant routine of shuffling and sorting and repeating to pass the time. Sure, he'd known many women and even a few men who'd be more than willing to come and work for him, but Julians situation did not allow for contact with those people; truly, in this new world within which he'd found himself and developed a small niche, he knew very few. He'd simply have to wait for others to come to him. A test of patience he was not known for. ]

"Anyway, until then, it's this."

Inky black filled the cellar once again. This time there was no resounding crash, and no angry demon storming down the stairs.

Tig stood in the very same spot she had before, wearing some casual but rather sexy threads. She moved to the stairs and headed up to the quiet little bar, her tail swishing. The hour was ungodly.

As she entered she noticed the two mean looking quite worse for wear. The beauty crossed her arms and tapped a foot. "Morning gentleman." She announced her presence in a silky voice that any phone sex operator would be jealous of. Her striking features did not reflect the same alluring appeal as she was probably just as tired as the demon.

Silence had befallen the Black Spot.

She had not left, and like any good new bartender, she took her place behind the counter and began wiping down glasses. A classic gesture that seemed truly needed this place, she noticed as she cleaned on particularly dingy glass. The tall beauty sighed, focusing her gaze downward as tigress ears flicked and turned.

She picked up little noises, waiting for someone to enter. "The Black Spot," her silky voice mused, "Is not a very good name for a bar."
