*she nods watching tweety go lay down then moving to see what leftovets therr was and picked amoung them to eat cold or reheated it did not matter as long as she quinched the hunger. she takes her plate to the pool area to leave tweety at peace and see how it looked outside through the windows. she shakes her head at the snow piled up outside and sits down on the loungr chair to eat.*
She groaned, mumbling something incoherent, before she came around again, sitting up and rubbing her neck. She shook herself a bit, and carefully got up, getting herself some juice, and moving slowly to the player, playing something that came to mind, before moving back to her cozy couch. She partially listened, taking care to down her juice, thinking it would help her wake up and shake loose, but within moments she was back out cold for the night.

Characters: Dragonfly & Sly
Location: Dragonfly's Room
Appropriate song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wCEzoOpG1zQ

As she waited for some sort of sign that Sly was going to wake up, Dragonfly went over the nights events in her head again... She would never forgive herself for this.

(Several hours ago)

As the door locks, Dragonfly approaches the crumpled heap against the bloodstained wall that was Sly. She was hurt, but it was only surface damage, clear evidence that he had been holding back when he shouldn't have.

His breathing was very shallow, occasionally interrupted by a sudden gasp. When she lowered him carefully onto the floor she immediately noticed and winced at the cause. Beneath his shirt, his chest wasn't the right shape.

She tore his shirt open to see a fist-sized crater in the right side of his chest, the area was quickly going black from internal bleeding.

She had never seen anyone alive with this kind of injury.

She'd nearly killed him.

She maneuvered his head into her lap and bit into her wrist so hard that her teeth touched the bone, put her wrist into his mouth, hoping.

She whispered;
"Don't die on me."

Sitting in the room, blood spattering the walls, Nusura still hiding terrified beneath the bed, most of the furniture reduced to splinters and one bloodstained tear running down her cheek... She whispers;

"Please don't die on me."

Mythical Loiterer

Sly opened his eyes slowly.

He looked at his hands. His hands had always been the first thing he looked at when he awoke. He marvelled at them again now. Little delicate fingers. He closed his fists in a grip and opened them again.

He was in his bed. Feeling fresh. Ready for the day. He looked up the ceiling. It was thatched. He moved his eyes to the foot of the bed. His little feet. At the edge of his feet lay a woman, raven hair covering her from him. Faint light streaming through the thatched roof shone directly on her body. There was no time to waste. Dawn was breaking. Looking around as he sat up, he saw all of them. His family. All 6 of his sisters, sleeping around him. Protecting him. Sly smiled as he reached out to touch them, however his little hands would not make it. The light began to fade as he felt his eyes closing again.

Sly forced them open again. He smiled. He could see in front of him, now a beautiful girl in a field far away, a horse by her side dutifully waiting. The love of his life. He looked at his hands. They were always there for him, his hands. This time they were muscular. Grazes on his palms, souvenirs of hard heavy work. He smiled as he looked up at her again. They were going to be wed that day. They were going to run away. He heard a quiet noise behind him. As he began to move his body, his smile faded. He couldn't move. The quiet noise had been of a knife, piercing and carving through his back completely open all the way from top to bottom. He jerked slightly. His eyes grew as wide as that of his lover's who was running towards him, horse by her side. The horse was the last thing his eyes would focus on before his began closing again. It had never been the horse killing him had it? Sly registered as he struggled to keep his eyes open against their will.

With reservation Sly opened his eyes again. This time barely squinting. Tears flowing down his face as through the squint he saw a figure in the darkness leaning over him. He would look at his hands except he could not move a muscle. His eyes sealed shut with a final tear; of blood.

Sly opened his eyes, he was standing in the darkness, looking at a girl with his back to him, bending forwards, limp on the side of an empty pathway. He could smell the blood that was oozing down the length of her legs, all the way from her inner thighs. She was sobbing quietly. He felt another presence beside him. He turned his head only in time to see the figure move as quickly and quietly as the night itself towards the girl in front of them. Pulling her head to one side, holding her down by the neck, the dark figure turned back to him and beckoned him forward. "Drink!". His first feed, he lunged forward, biting into the neck of the poor defenseless woman who they would leave lifeless by the side of the road for the wolves circling, also sensing the blood. He could still taste her blood now, as he now closed his eyes voluntarily. Nobody could forget their first.

He didn't want to open his eyes anymore, except this time he heard a scream. Bloodcurdlingly familiar. They flashed open almost by instinct. He found himself standing over a body. His latest kill. A voice beside him laughed mirthful and cruel. "You will now learn how to create your own." the shrouded figure next to him remarked now pointing in front of him. He followed the finger to find his eyes resting on... Dragonfly. She was standing in front of her house, staring at her dead mother who was now lying below Sly. Sly looked again at his hands. His criminal hands. He obeyed. He created. "Leave her. She is weak and will not survive the day. If she does she will find you. A worthy opponent for you someday." The shrouded figure remarked as he began to lose consciousness again.

He felt stiff. Darkness forcing him to open his eyes once more. He lay in a ditch. "Leave him. He will die soon enough." The shrouded figure surrounded by many others this time. His clan! His own clan!! He wanted to rise up, however darkness took him again as he felt a sharp sting on his leg.

Coughing, Sly opened his eyes again, feeling blood trickle into his throat. He could barely feel himself. He did however feel a figure shrouding him again. Telling him to not die on her. He felt skin on his lips, familiar, yet distant.

Sly's eyes closed again, this time staying shut out in the darkness for good, his heartbeat steadying very slowly as he struggled to breathe.

Dragonfly continued to sit very still, her life-force flowing slowly into Sly.

She hoped it would be enough.

She watched as some of his wounds started to close, minor ones. She wanted to see the more severe wounds start healing. His chest-wound was the most concerning, but she had also broken his neck. When that started healing it would probably put him in a lot more pain, if as she supposed it had broken his spinal cord as well. It was hard to tell what had healed when the injuries were internal.

She watched his eyelids starting to move, and started slightly, thinking he may be conscious... He was dreaming, probably suffering nightmares as she had done. It was little, but it was a good sign.

Her own wounds had stopped healing, some were even starting to reverse the process because she was running out of blood. A gouge above her right eye where his teeth had narrowly missed blinding her, was reopening, among many others.

She could feel him, a dim flicker of his thoughts, but she didn't intrude on his dreams, she just whispered into his mind, trying to rouse him.

Sly... Please come back.

Another thought slipped in before she could stop it.

I love you.

Mythical Loiterer

Sly emerged as if from a dream, floating in dark and murky waters. His eyes were all he had control over, as his body floated lifelessly along the water.

Sly continued to bob along in the direction of the gentle current. The water enveloping him often, while he was unable to keep the water out of his open mouth. His lungs feeling lifeless to cough it out.

It was strange to not choke on the water that he had swallowed, his thoughts lucid, he was able to keep his mind focussed on the stars above him.

It wasn't long before the soft calm ripple of water around him began to rise in speed and intensity.

As Sly approached the inevitable waterfall in front of him, he could hear a deafening roar caused by the water. However, very softly he could also hear voices, calling out his name.

He watched as the stars in the sky began to move, taking shapes now. The shapes seemed to be calling out to him.

First the shapes morphed into his sisters, standing together in the sky. Smiling and waving at him. Their voices all a jumble, he couldn't make out what they were saying.

Then they disappeared and morphed into his lover. Her words also indecipherable.

He waited, as his creator stood above him now covering the night sky. Her laugh booming, not saying anything.

Then the stars moved again, morphing into far more familiar figures from his recent past. His friends from the bar. Nira, Tweety, Deej, Shady & Shadow, Blackwing and all her dragons & even Tobi among many others.

They weren't smiling. They weren't waving. They were screaming. Their screams rising above the sound of the water, begging to be heard.

Sly could decipher what they were saying just as they began to morph again.

Sly wouldn't be able to see the final morphing though as the dreaded waterfall had finally arrived. As he hurtled over along with the frighteningly strong current, a voice rang out clear as daylight and sun. A voice he could recognise immediately.

Finally he could make out the words.

Sly please come back. I love you.

Sly's body hit the base of the waterfall, instantly going under, all the way to the bottom as his body crashed solid onto the rocky bed, his body shattering, bones breaking neck snapping, spinal cord ripping away and a boulder gouging a huge fist like crater into his chest.

Sly's eyes flew open, pain administering all through his body instantly. Gasping wildly for air, he awoke his eyes first falling onto dragonfly leaning over him, her eyes smothered with the blood she had let out as tears.

He moved his eyes. It was all he could move. Intense pain gripping his body.

Dragonfly feels momentary relief at Sly opening his eyes.

Then she instantly regrets trying to wake him so soon.

His pain ripped through her head, and she went rigid with it. So bad she almost keeled right over and fell to the floor.

When she managed to push past it, she leaned over so that she was looking directly into his pain-stricken eyes.

"I am here, and I will not leave you."

I am sorry

It took great effort for Sly to get the words through, but he did eventually manage to think them up in his mind lucidly enough to pass them on wordlessly to her.

'No more blood from you! As your maker I command you!'

He could only do it once. He was hoping she had the ability to listen to him.

His eyes glazed over from all the pain he was in.

He was lucid, she was astounded, to say the least.

She removed her wrist from his mouth immediately, scooted out from under him, gently placed his head on the floor and bolted down the stairs. The door was hanging off a single hinge, the lock definitely broken now.

She stumbles slightly as she reaches the bottom of the stairs, her head spinning from the lack of blood, but she had to do something about his pain before it incapacitated her as well.

A grim smile touches her lips as she pulls out exactly what she was looking for, a bottle of Amalfi. You could feed it to a child it was so sweet, but the kick was enough to send anyone to dreamland.
She grabs a couple of blood bags, almost as an afterthought, and is back at Sly's side seconds after she left, the door mashed rather crudely back into the frame.

She gives him as much Amalfi as she can get him to drink, puts a pillow under his head and lays down to keep an eye on him.

User ImageSonia's eyes snapped open and she looked around her room confused. The smell of blood was faint but it drifted into her room. She always had been able to smell blood from great distances and she always hated how it made her hungry. She shook off the smell to the best of her ability and tired her best to go back to sleep. She didn't know who's blood it was but she would find out soon. Going back to sleep, the only thing she dreamed of was her past and how it was stolen from her.
She woke with a start, and sat up more slowly, shaking herself a bit. This time she knew she was able to stay awake, feeling a bit renewed and restless. She rolled her shoulder, and twisted her neck about, again rubbing her hand on her neck, wondering if she was getting a cramp from sleeping on the couch so much. Shaking it off, she went about fixing herself another juice, and moved around carefully. She felt a bit aimless so she moved out to the pool, with a notebook, and sat with her feet in the water, scooting to the edge to get water all the way up to her knees if she stretched them. She even managed to bundle up her dress so it wouldn't get wet while she wrote things down and lazily kicked around.

A small noise could be heard as Shadow made his way from the kitchen having cleaned up a mess that had been made earlier. Seemed like some sort of magical teleportation of some sort and food was involved. Either way it piled back up in the sink and left him with a small but manageable task. He sighed softly after he walked to the bar and looked to all the tired souls, shaking his head and feeling his pocket shake. After a moment he went back into the kitchen and answered his phone, talking for a few minutes before hanging up, a louder sigh escaping before he walked outside and noticed someone at the pool, walking over and taking a seat a small distance from Tweety. " Evening Tweets. " He said with a half smile, his jacket hanging off his back and a hat covering his right eye enough to shadow it over.
"Hmm?" She shook her head a bit, and looked around until her eyes fell on Shadow. She smiled "Looking good there dear, got a date or coming back from one?" She also hid the notebook under her backside, pulling her weight on her arms as her legs still kicked around in the water.

Shadow held back a small chuckle as he shook his head, gently taking his coat off and setting it to the side, leaving his hat in place. "Oh is it such a crime to try and dress up every once and a while? Tweety you wound me. " he teased before shaking his head and holding his right hand firmly, rotating his wrist to cause a small Crack and pop to be heard. With another small sigh he shrugged his shoulders a little and undid his boots, slipping his own legs in to let them relax. " Just old business calling. Trying to rope me into a job again. " He said before shaking his head and looking up to the sky a little. He looked tired, more so than usual.
