Dangerous Businessman

He hit the joint again before taking a swig of the alcoholic beverage, exhaling a plume of smoke in a relaxing but light sigh. He took another swig before passing the bottle back to Jay. Hitting the joint again he exhaled as he spoke.

"That's cool. Maybe at some point we should hit up Sigil and see whats happenin'."

H
e remarked. They could always end up chillin' at The Black Cherry. He hadn't been there since Val handed him his own a** on a silver platter. Taking another hit, he slowly exhaled the smoke through his nostrils this time. His eyes already glossing over, becoming bloodshot as he enjoyed the herb.

"You ever been to The Black Cherry?"

Jay shook her head at Bishops question, truth was she had never been to Sigil, having wanted to for a while but never really having a reason to actually go. Taking a swig on the bottle, her cheeks flushed with colour..It was already beginning to have an effect, since she had not eaten all day, and barely eaten the day before. It was a wonder she managed to keep herself so healthy looking, no bones showed through her skin, everything was nicely rounded and well proportioned, not to mention well muscled.

Jay placed the bottle down on the floor next to Bishop, since she had broken the table, and stood up with a slight wobble. "I have not been there, never been to Sigil... I'm just going to freshen up and then we can go to town." she would add before wandering up the stairs to collect an outfit, wandering back down and then disappearing into her bathroom. Jay was feeling a little rough considering she had soaked her black dress in sweat during the ordeal, and generally liked to be clean as well as stylish.

So having a quick shower she would dry off and pull on her latest creation, she had gotten the outfit at the beach with Miles, but had not worn it until now. Three quarter tight rough denim pants that accentuated her a**, above the knee leather boots with a 5inch heel, 1 inch platform, allowing her to appear taller for a change, a black and red teddy, which the bottoms were hidden by the pants as well as the suspenders that were attached to them. All in all a very punk rock kind of outfit, and it looked just as amazing as she imagined it would, donning her more elegant collar, small silver studs decorated it and a small tag hung from the front. Tying her hair back into pig tails to stop it from falling over her face she would exit the bathroom.

Grabbing a belt which seemed to always find its way to the chair next to the stairs, she would fasten it about her waist. Looking up at the now very stoned Bishop with a childish grin, "What'cha think?"

Dangerous Businessman

"Who you dollin' yo' s**t up fo'?"

H
e mused as she had a new outfit on, proper to go to town on. This meant one thing. He had to upgrade his swag. He couldn't go out dressed like he was if she was going out looking nice. After all, real gangsters wore luxurious s**t as opposed to just expensive. Standing her would sigh lightly, he had to drop by the carnival and change clothes. Or just hit a store on the way? Either way, the other would time skip to his outfit change in the next post, reason being that his author was too damn lazy to type that s**t out. =P

"I've got a reputation to live up to you know, can't be seen looking too shabby. Now lets go, you lead the way Mr. Bishop."

Her eyes sparkled with mischievous intent, she was definitely not someone you would want to party with, but Bishop didn't know that yet. Jay had a habit of getting completely wasted and causing a bit of trouble where ever she went, but hell she always did it in style, hence why she was always in boots, each pair she owned had a nice concealed sheath for her beloved daggers. Never left home without them...Unless she was holding a gun of course, but this outfit was far too tight to conceal a gun under.

Walking over to Bishop she would pick up the bottle and have another swig before offering it to him as she waved her hand towards the door, as if to say 'After you'.

User Image((Sorry about my absence. Been having computer troubles. Just so you know, day after tomorow I work for two days, so if I post they may not be as good because I'll be tired. After that, I'm going to the Special Olympics for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.))

The door to the Firecats Bar opened just a crack, a single blue eye peering inside. Whoever it was opened the door a little bit, a head of long brunette locks and, oddly enough, horns and strange ears, poking in. A round face, soft features, button nose. She was cute.

Ah, but when she fully stepped into the building, it was evident she was more than just cute. The white tank top she wore barely contained her G-cup breasts, while the black mid-thigh skirt she wore hugged tightly to her wide hips and round rear. Oddly, a hole was cut in the skirt, a long, whip-like tail with a tuft of hair on the end swaying back and forth. Her visible legs were shapely and smooth, but short, as she was only five feet tall. But her feet weren't feet at all. They were black hooves. And it only now became apparent that her tail was a cow's tail, and her ears cow ears. That could only mean her little horns were horns of a bovine as well.

Her forearms were clad in fingerless gloves, black with a white stripe in the center of the forearm, and in her dainty hand was a help wanted ad for the Firecats Bar. She gazed at the document, as if checking to make sure she was at the right place, gazing about with an unsure look.

She walked forward, her steps careful and graceful. She took a seat at the bar, sitting in a very stiff and ladylike position, her legs held together and the hand not holding the help wanted ad folded delicately in her lap.

Around her neck was what could only be a cow bell dangling from a black choker, which made just the slightest clang with each of her movements, though her chest also did something with each movement. Guys weren't the only ones who could freeball, after all.

User ImageWith a yawn and a stretch, Flint arose from his bed. His ebony locks were a complete mess, falling in front of his face and laying in all directions. Getting up, he walked to his bathroom and set to work brushing his teeth. Fangs. He rarely used them, but they were there. He didn't smile much, so not many people saw his long, sharp incisors. Spitting and rinsing, he stepped into the shower and turned on the water, taking a quick hot one. He didn't like getting wet much. That holy water thing was just a myth. It was any pure water that caused him pain. He usually scrubbed himself with a rag and water diluted with herbs. But no time for that. So struggling not to scream, he took a one-minute shower and stepped out to hurriedly dry himself.

Done, Flint walked back into his room and got dressed. Kit hadn't mentioned anything about a uniform, but Flint wore one anyway. He slipped on some black slacks, white loafers, and a black bowling shirt with a green apron over it. He tied his hair into its low-set ponytail, and made his way downstairs.

There was a girl at the bar, holding a help wanted ad. He couldn't help her, so he just took his stance behind the bar and set to work wiping down the counter.

((I'm back!!!))

SLAM

The doors were kicked wide open as a woman stumbled inside, the left side of her face was caked in her own blood, not to mention her shoulder arm arm too. Some had even travelled down over her chest, soaking into the top she wore, there was a large lump under her left ponytail, but because her hair was so dark it would not be overly noticeable.
Looking up to see two new faces at the far end of the club, one behind the bar and the other sitting before it, raising an ever so curious eyebrow at the two Jay would straighten herself up and begin to walk forward.

Behind her a small black and white griffen trotted through the door, following his owner, even if he happened to like Bishop better..the one who actually saved him from becoming a casualty in the bar brawl the two had started.

The woman was in pain and slightly confused as to how she had even made it back to her bar, tattered and bruised, but it did not take away from her young feminine features. Looking far to young to actually be managing a bar, 23, well built and fashionable. Easiest way to describe the woman, even if she looked rather ragged at the moment, trying to force a friendly smile as she made it to the small side door which would lead behind the bar.

Having to use her right hand, since her left arm hung limply by her side, having been broken by her opponent at The Black Cherry. Leaving it open behind her she would grab a small bottle of vodka and place it on the bar, her right fingers clasped tightly about the neck, looking to the woman she would squint a little before finally managing to smile warmly.

"Well you have to be the prettiest creature I have seen all day." The words were sincere, since if either of them had witnessed what she just had...They would be in total agreement.

Tearing the steel cap off with her teeth Jay would spit it out to her left, lifting it to her lips and taking a rather long swig, the clear alcohol burnt her parched throat.
Bishop would enter soon after, following the path to the bar and walking behind it...Probably to steal some booze, the Griffen would climb up his leg to perch atop his hat.
Jay burst out in laughter, finally being able to do so after such a long journey made her feel the warmth returning to her heart.

Switching her attention to Flint, whom she had not met yet, she would look him up and down with a casual smile, "Not bad, tell ya what...you are in charge for the day..?" She would say, a silent question, leaving him room to finish her sentence with his name.

This of course was followed by a shocked gasp, her right hand leaving the bottle to reach behind to her rear end...where the needle still protruded from. Bishop had stuck her with a medical shot, being smart enough to do it while she was distracted...since she despised needles.

((I have to time lapse soon hun, got to get Jay all healed up.))

User ImageFlint quirked an eyebrow at the young woman. She looked like she had gone through hell. All that blood, though... he hadn't eaten yet today. Luckily, one didn't live as long as he had without being able to resist such urges. He'd just have to take a sip from his flask of pig's blood when no one was looking. He didn't like most people knowing what he was.

He was tempted to kiss her... Not out of lust or hunger, mind you. But his saliva had a mild euphoric chemical in it. It was supposed to make feeding on a girl pleasurable for her as well, as it replaced the pain of being bitten with pleasure. She was clearly in pain... but since she said he was in charge, she must be the boss. And you don't just kiss your boss out of the blue.
"Flint. A pleasure to meet you, miss...?" he replied, his voice low and smooth.
That was her cue for a name.

"The name is Jay." she would say with a slight laugh.

She really had witnessed hell, but this was only the beginning...The beginning of the end and she had fled, fearing for her life...Scared of what was to come, knowing that what she had seen was nothing compared to what else the universe could conjure...

Shaking her head she would smile warmly at flint and again at the woman at the bar, she needed to excuse herself in order to heal...Hopefully this time it would only be a few hours, since she was injured, but not nearly as bad as the last time she had needed it.

"I will be back soon...Just need a nap.."

((Time lapse...))

Jay would awake with an over exaggerated yawn, stretching her arms high above her head..Her arms....Sitting upright Jay would test her left arm by lifting it, bending it at the elbow a few times before throwing her blankets off her, how much time had passed she would not know, it seemed to still be dark outside. Sliding out of the bed, which she had stained red with her own blood, the woman would descend the stairs to her lounge, tossing her clothes from her body as she made her way to the bathroom.

How had she gotten into her apartment...Must of had a concussion, it would explain the slight memory loss. Groaning a little as she jumped under the somewhat hot water in her shower, watching as the water was dyed red, washing the blood from her pale flesh...Sending it into the unknown...
Washing thoroughly before jumping out and drying off, not even bothering to cover up...She was alone, again...Aside from her Griffen of course, but the tiny creature was curled up on her bed, possibly covered by the blanket.

Jay wandered back up the stairs to dress, choosing a pair of camo military styled pants, her usual combat boots and a purple rave style boobtube. Tying her hair back into pigtails before walking over to the bed, flicking the blanket away she found the small black and white animal, stretched out much like a normal cat would be. Stroking the soft feathered head and ears with the care a mother would have to a child, to her this would be her child, since it was obvious she would have a short life span...and a lonely one at that.

But she had not named him yet....

Leaning over to kiss its head before leaving the apartment, stopping at the door and turning back to quickly arm herself, grabbing her daggers and shoving them down into her boots, pulling out her Walther pistol and attaching the holster to her waist via two crossed over belts. This would not be all of course, she had managed to acquire some new toys as of late, and was more than prepared to play with them.
Pulling out the clawed gauntlets and attaching them to her back via small leather straps, ready to just reach over her shoulders and pull them out, since they required a closed fist grip to use.

Jay was now armed, heavily...Making her way to the bar she would grab a bottle of whiskey and open it, drinking it as though it was only water.
Her cell phone in her pocket, waiting...

User ImageUser ImageAs the hours passed, Flint had taken the time to wash every glass and and thoroughly wipe down the counter. He showed the new arrival the kitchen, and she made him some cow's blood soup and a steak and glass of milk for herself. It was obvious from the help wanted ad she held that she wanted a job, but upon talking to the girl, he found out first-hand. She had seen the ad and wanted to work as a cook. Flint was hardly qualified to hire, even if it was her, so he told her to wait for Jay.

Soon enough, the young woman made her way downstairs. Flint turned and tossed her a bottle of whiskey.
"This girl wants a job interview." he told his boss plainly.
The girl in question folded her hands in her lap and looked down, blushing. Jay telling her she was pretty still had her embarrassed...

Even if Flint was qualified to give the girl a job interview, he couldn't...

After all, you don't hire your own sister.

((Hehe, twice now. XD))

What was she waiting for?...Who knew?

The woman would just remain at the bar, staring out over its empty expanse, worried eyes travelling over each chair and table, slowly finding their way to the doors which had swung closed.

Jay sighed and continued to drink...waiting for her friend to come back...Where ever he had gone?

The only reason she carried so much weaponry was because three times she had faced death...Next time she wanted to be the victor, to hold some ones life in her hands...

So this would be her new attire, constantly armed...

Come to think of it, she had not seen the ninja either...Was he even still with her, had he witnessed her failure, had he laughed at her or remained silent and emotionless? Would she ever know?...Most likely not.

Snapping out of her daze like state, Jay smirked at the two, a nervous expression followed before fading away.

"What job was that hun?..." She would question the girl after nodding at Flint appreciatively.
She looked very different now, no blood stained her pale flesh, her hair was no longer ruffled, and her clothes clean and fitted her body nicely. The weaponry may or may not cause some confusion, but she was oblivious as to its effect on people.

User ImageThe girl shifted nervously. She hated being put on the spot... But she brought her legs together and folded her hands in her lap in a very ladylike sitting position, looking up at her potential new boss with an unsure look.
"Um... C-Cook, Miss Jay, ma'am." she told her, in the tiniest of voices.
It was a very high voice, and almost melodious...

Though one had to wonder... She had been eating a steak and drinking milk. Wasn't that, like... cannibalism, considering her tail, ears, horns, and hooved feet?

Not to mention she had made Flint some cow's blood soup.

What was she, anyway? Some kind of literal cowgirl, as opposed to a western ranchhand cowgirl?

((Twice I have posted and edited. XD))

Jay tilted her head a little, she had some how caused her to become nervous...But the look in Jay's eyes would be one of bemusement. She couldn't get her head around the fact that she seemed to be part cow? Definitely unique.

"Well you have the job, when can you start?" She would ask casually, see she really was too distracted to provide a good interview...And was generally not as nosey as Kit.

Stepping back and leaning against the back shelf of the bar Jay would grimace a little, even though she had healed nicely, her body was still aching from the whole ordeal.
Lifting the bottle to her lips she would skull back the remains of the bottle, letting her hand fall to her side afterwards, bottle still tightly held in her fingers.

"So what is your name sweetheart?"

((Sorry for the short post.))

User ImageThe girl's eyes lit up, gasping in delight.
"Really? I got the job? Thank you so much!" she squealed.

Odd, there wasn't even an interview. There were a ton of things her new boss should know, like her cudd-chewing habit, the fact she slept standing up, and her milking needs. Not that she was complaining. They were all embarrassing to talk about. And she was just happy to work at the same place as her brother. Now if only they could get her sister working here, too...

Oh! She was so nervous, she forgot to mention her name. She blushed and folded her hands in her lap again.
"Um... I'm Belle. Nice to meet you, Miss Jay, ma'am." she explained, her voice sweet and soft.

((No problem. Sorry about my short posts. The Benadryl is kickin' in. ))

"No worries, i'll add you to the roster, and just call me Jay...Or Drunkard...b***h, whichever suits at the time."

Her eyes glistened as she briefly reminisced of days long past, where she had been called many names by her companions, whether in jest or out of spite. Back when she was surrounded by people she classed as her family, they were gone now, only two remained...Luna and Kit, but they came and went as they pleased, so did she but at least she had a reason to.

Placing the empty bottle on the counter Jay would find another to replace it, this time it was a rather odd looking crystal bottle, with sapphires embedded in a circular pattern around the widest part of it. She lifted the stopper off it and sniffed the contents, it was a rare scotch, she had stolen it after leaving the demons lair many years ago...The scar on her back a constant reminder of the battle. Four long claw marks that ran from the top of her shoulder blades to half way down her back.

Clearly visible while she was wearing her boobtube, but she cared not, she was too lost in thoguht to even notcie how she now caressed the bottle while her eyes glistened with the tears that had begun to form.
