After she brushed shoulders with him adding a sly remark of being younger, he felt tickled, chuckling lightly as he killed the vibration of his blade, sheathed it to his back. Obliging her line of motion, he followed her, into the alley. All the way but a mere six feet from Luna. He gave her the handicap of standing closer to her knowing that shadows were just a pinch slower than the speed of light. This would speak louder than his words ever could about how sure he was. As previously noted, even if killed, unless killed in a specific manner, The Scarlet Phantom always returned. She was preparing swift enough, and in reaction so would he.

"That's like the second or third time you asked me....Sounds like you're getting a case of the the jitters."

H
e mused as his right hand moved to his forehead. His index finger and thumb gripped the right lens of his blood red goggles and pull them just a tad off the surface of his black bandanna. Placing the center of the goggles on the bridge of his nose, the goggles lenses settled over his eyes in a natural manner, like a reflex or some other innate behavior such as pooping. Red lenses on Red eyes made his eyes very similar to hers. This way he could see. He could see much more clearly and his eyes for the most part were hidden. In motion one would not register where his line of sight fell, and he also wouldn't get anything in his eyes.

His right hand idled where it was, holding the lens of the goggles. It served no purpose, though by not changing his movements, his use of abilities would go unnoticed until Luna realized it was beginning to get hotter. It would take a moment to kick in, but by the time they started moving, she would feel the heat. An extension of his pyrokinetic and cryokinetic capabilities, he abused a sub-category of just about each respective opposite side of the spectrum. Thermokinesis.

Luna would feign innocence at his remark, smiling childishly as she continued to play with the small balls of shadow matter. Each one of the balls had the potential to become a powerful energy attack, or perhaps shift shape and expand into a lethal projectile. But Luna simply kept them as they were, small balls floating above her finger tips. She wanted to play, not start a full scale battle..Which if it was to happen would destroy the bar, alleyway and half the street if not more. Based on the fact that both herself and Hartia were capable of unleashing extensive amounts of energy...Her's however did not cause secondary damage such as lighting things aflame.

So as the area slowly heated up she would raise an eyebrow at him, she had two major weaknesses, one being her humanity...The other being heat/fire, it made the demon uneasy and caused the strength of her attacks to lessen, although as devastating as they could be she was not going to use them terribly much. Luna had found a new hobby over the last few years, hand to hand combat, something which provided her with great entertainment...And she would soon show Hartia how good she had become at it.

You see there is not much to do when you are left to your own devices, other than train, not to mention the many spars she had with Des, each one pushing her limits further. She had enjoyed the challenge, still did in fact, so as she contemplated her various options the demon would slowly let her smile fade. The balls of matter reverting unto themselves, touching down on her flesh, spreading over her hands and arms, the black ink like substance quickly washed over her.
The demon was now half covered in her own matter, forming a barrier between her flesh and the air which was being heated, even though it was a basic concept she found it tiresome to cover herself entirely. So only her arms, shoulders, and stomach were shielded for now, since she was not wearing much in the way of clothing as it was, it would seemingly leave her exposed.

Pushing herself off the wall she would walk over to Hartia, positioning herself closer to him as she raised both hands, extending them before her, palms up. Her eyes blazing ever so brightly as more of the shadow particles streamed from the air around her to her open hands, this time however, instead of small marble sized balls they would grow, each ball now resembling a tennis ball in size and shape.

"Lets make this easy eh? No explosive energy is to be used...The other lease holders will bay for blood if anything happens to their buildings." She would state casually, not even asking if this particular term was acceptable or not. To be honest she knew that by the end of the spar the area would be a disaster zone.

Regardless Luna would flex her fingers outwardly, hearing/feeling her knuckles 'crack' before she let loose a waist high kick, stepping inward with her left foot before turning slightly to her left, torso bending to the side a little as her right leg lifting while bent at the knee. Snapping/extending outward in a fast motioned kick, the toe of her boot aimed for his left side just above the hip.

What the hell was happening? Jay had remained behind the bar during all of the random conflict, words only so far, which confused her even more. It seemed that Luna's friends had all decided to show up, like a major blast from the past, Lord Desecrater had left rather abruptly, fading from sight much like the ninja from earlier. This was all very disturbing for the woman, she had no idea if they were still 'here' or if they had really gone.

Then the man who had burst into flames scared the living hell out of her, his agonising screams had brought tears to her eyes. Feeling helpless as he had dropped to his knees, then before the first tear had fallen over her cheek, he had jumped back up. Jay had been completely stunned by the whole event...Yet another of Luna's old friends, this one how ever made her uneasy. She had back down the walkway at that point, seeing the reunion was enough to know that there would soon be some kind of carnage. The demon always looked for a reason to fight, Jay knew this all too well.

Finding herself in her apartment, Jay would make her way to the wall below her bed, opening one of the concealed cupboards. The panel slid open to reveal a collection of crystal decanters, each contained a different coloured liquid, many were of a golden hue, ranging from light to dark. The light of the room reflected off each one in turn as Jay moved aside, reaching in and picking up a rather slender looking bottle.

Smiling warmly before sliding the panel back, placing the bottle on the small table before walking up the stairs to change, putting on a light coloured summer dress. Walking back down and grabbing the bottle before exiting the apartment, moving over to the second private room. The neon lighting brought a smile to her lips as she closed the door behind her, sitting down on the couch placing the bottle on the table. Reaching under the rim of the table she would produce two crystal drinking glasses, one she would fill a quarter of the way with the golden liquor. Leaning back and taking a sip before putting her feet up on the table, relaxing by herself...taking a break from all the woohoo and what not happening inside the bar.

He didn't say a word, he didn't move. He merely remained still, freeze framing apparently from a moment ago. By now the temperature of the alleyway was stretching past 100 degrees. Soon it would be 125, then 150. He wouldn't surpass 200 degrees, but she would feel the heat alright, and if it truly was a weakness to her, she would find this match one much hard than a lover could ever give her. This fight would truly push her limits. The worst part was, when it came to hand to hand combat, he had an absolute defense that made most attacks executed by blunt objects of any make would have ill effect on him.

Body Armor
___Body Armor
Armor Type: N/A
Type: Super-Natural
Range: Full Body
Weight: 10 lbs
Info: This armor has the ability to change property. Its a thin film that adheres to Hartia's figure. Blunt objects and/or bullets on contact cause the armor to stiffen and absorb impact. Armor is hard to spot, matching Hartia's skin tone. Molecular structure of the 'Body Armor' will replicate artificial muscles/organs to expand or contract when needed in order to perform CPR or other forms of field medical aid. Light weight, additional ten pounds to Shin's weight. Highly flexible. Eyes, mouth, nose, and ears lack armor protection.

When her foot would impact its intended area, it would feel like she kicked a wall. The kinetic force of the attack forcing the 'body armor' to stiffen on impact, absorbing the blow. In retaliation his left hand launched forth to snatch her leg up by the ankle, coming from the outer side of it. If he was successful at grappling her leg, his right hand would move from his goggles in a fluid motion. His hand balled up into a fist, clenching as he positioned it above her knee just before slamming it straight down in a hammer fist to her knee cap. His body armor would stiffen on impact in instances of him attacking as well, making his already incredible strength fell that much more dense.

Luna grimaced as her foot connected, she was definitely not expecting the normally soft flesh to be as hard as solid concrete, what happened? The demon could would have to try find out what made his flesh so hard. Not that she would have time to think, Hartia grabbed her ankle as she was pulling her leg back, balling his fist Luna saw the intent, reacting instinctively by thrusting her left matter covered arm out over her leg, sweeping across to try force his punch away from her knee.

Aiming her outer forearm for his wrist, the matter would stiffen as she gritted her teeth in concentration, it would not match his armour but it would add more strength to her deflection attempt, the tennis ball sized orb of matter would follow her hand. Her right arm lifted, bent at the elbow, palm facing Hartia...As was the second orb, this one however pulsed once before what looked like an electrical current flowed over the surface, pulsing a second time it would expand outwardly as a small cylindrical beam of charged matter exploded from its centre. The beam would be no more than two inches wide, aiming for his left shoulder, incentive to release her foot.

The matter would harden a little around her body in reaction to the sudden use of energy, her mental control of the particles was enough to begin protecting herself, but the exposed flesh on her body already had beads of sweat forming from the intense heat. She would need to find a way to cool down, otherwise she would become dehydrated and suffer heatstroke.

Jay continued to sit in the retro room, sipping idly on the second glass of whisky she had poured herself, the woman was thinking about what she was going to do with the bar.
Maybe she could change it into a clothing outlet, since she loved to shop, or even a café rather than a bar, this would give her a chance to show off her cooking skills...And possibly remain sober for more than a few hours a day. The reason for these thoughts was not because there was anything wrong with the bar, but more she was trying to distract herself from reality. Considering she was surrounded by non-humans...She hated them all, even Luna, except she knew that out of all the god forsaken creatures in Gaia, that particular one would never harm her.

This would not stop the poisonous thoughts from coming to light, images of a world where everyone could be happy, safe and free. Free from the dangers of being consumed by some demon or half breed, a morphing man eating elephant...all of these creatures disgusted her. It had been so long since she had met another human, Bishop was an advanced human...The monk was holy, and the ninja...Well he was just plain scary. Shuddering at the thought of the ninja still being nearby she would skull the remaining whiskey, slamming the glass down on the table before leaning back and staring at the ceiling.

It was strange that she had signed up to defend all of these monstrosity's, and most of them would never even know, nor even care that she had done so. Jay was happy to help, and did not want recognition, but deep down she still wished for a place where she was not constantly on the menu. Ever since she had left home she had been fighting, always trying to get ahead, surviving on courage and intelligence. Being fortunate enough to have made some powerful friends, but that would not stop her from dying, she was mortal/human so every day she would wonder when it would happen and how. Sad really, but she was a realist, knowing that should anything happen she would not be able to heal herself, or be reborn.

Sighing deeply she would remove her feet from the table and lean forward with her head in her hands, elbows resting on her knees, "What the hell was I thinking..." She would mumble to herself, feeling that is she said it aloud that maybe she would be able to think of a solution. But nothing came of it, shaking her head a little before standing and exiting the room, leaving the decanter and glasses behind on the table.
Jay wasn't even drunk, just depressed, the expression on her face was one of anguish, she had far too many days of denying her fate, so allowing herself at least one to accept it would not hurt. Well more or less because no one would witness it, she was alone inside the bar now. Something she was used to, knowing full well that her friend was playing games outside, with yet another demonic being or sorts.

[******** this man.."
she would say aloud as she walked back around to sit on one of the stools, laying her head on the bar counter, the surface was cool against her flesh, a sensation that briefly took her mind off the thought of death. Wondering if she should even spruce up the bar to include ice....One night a month have the whole thing turned into an ice bar, this was not a new idea of course since it had been done many times before. But with Luna around it would be easily done, she could use her elemental influence to do all the hard work.

Jay allowed herself a slight smirk as she continued to think about it, her depressed thoughts lingering in the back of her mind, but for a few minutes the woman would be granted a moment of peace.

Dangerous Businessman

She was a tad faster than him now a days it would seem. Though he wouldn't become upset about it in any way. With a sly smirk his fist was knocked off of its course, though in reaction he would shraply torque his body to the right. Spinning around to slide close to Jay as the beam fired and missed its mark. His right arm extending again as his legs spaced themselves shoulder width apart, his right hand grabbing for a fist full of that snow white hair.

If he achieved grasping her hair, he would lift her by her grappled ankle and hair only to hoist her up and over his head to slam her face first into the earthen crust. On impact however, he wouldn't stop there. Releasing her leg, his right hand would yank her head back as he would squat over her back, right leg on her right side, left to left. His left hand would shoot over her head with only his index and middle fingers extending from his fist, they were evenly spaced from one another and curled into 'hooks'. If left unchecked, he would indeed hook her nose nostrils where she would still be feeling the pain of impacting the ground. It would be at this moment that he would muse to Luna once again.

"Got'chur nose!"

"Oh s**t..." Was all Luna would utter as she was hoisted off the ground, both of her arms were free however and both still had the shadow matter orbs floating before them. With her left hand she would grab for his right shoulder, not to stop the inevitable but rather to deposit the inky substance onto his clothing and flesh. The demon was far from finished with her friend, the ball would hopefully follow her mental command and begin to spread over his clothing at a steady pace, this would have no initial effect of course, but if he kept prolonged physical contact with her flesh then of course it would allow her to continue spreading the matter.
This was how she kept her food from moving during the process of sucking the life from them, but she would not do that to her friend, she would simply try and force him to stop moving. should it work of course.

Seeing the ground coming up fast she flung her right forearm before her, taking the initial impact on the matter covered skin, it would still cause considerable pain but at least her face was not marked. Her chest however heaved as she gasped for air, he had landed a good blow...Her body shook a little as he squatted over her, yanking her head back with enough force to make the demon cry out, her eyes blazing with rage as he reached around to grab her nose.

Yes she would feel pain as he hooked his fingers into her nose, but the matter that covered her flesh would flow onto his own from the contact, spreading up over his fingers...All he would feel would be a cooling sensation, since if the other deposit had been successful it would be on his clothes still, slowly making its way to his flesh.

This was not her only option how ever, she would smile and bare her teeth after laughing a little at his words, reaching around with her left hand she would attempt to grab his left forearm. more matter would drip from her already covered hands and onto his flesh should she be successful...Then maybe he would think about discontinuing the contact, the instant she was no longer physically holding him the matter would stop spreading, some of it would even shrink away...

"Oh my dear Hartia....How I missed these games." She would spit out through her bared teeth as she began to arch her back upward, pushing up off the ground with her right arm, hoping to relieve some of the pressure he was applying to her nose...

If nothing else happened of course.

((I think I am officially done with this.))

Jay left the bar, walking out the back door and off down the road slowly fading away into the distance.

The Pendragon was entertained thus far. Meshing tactics and strategy together to form the best method of playing chess. It just so happened to work like combat too. At the instant Luna would be speaking through a transaction of movement's, he would hop off of the ground. His feet touching side by side as he arched his back outward and pointed his straight legs down as he descended, his flat footed boots aiming to stomp into her lower back. Simultaneously he would release her nose and her hair as he would then aim to slightly distance himself from Luna. A sly smirk smeared on his face, accented in a manner that screamed sadistic as he barred fangs.

"You're going to have to do better than that Jess."

Luna snarled in distress as he released her, only to have his heels land on her lower back. The very distinct cracking sound of bones fracturing would resonate from the impact, screaming as the pain surged through her body, hot searing pain seemed to trace its way through every muscle and nerve in her body. The demon would slam her hands palms down on the concrete, shadow matter washing over the ground beneath her like a wave of inky black water, her eyes leaked blackened tears as she gritted her teeth. The matter would begin to move as though it had a life of its own, rising up over the demon's body, engulfing it in the black ink like substance, consuming her flesh, muscle and bone.

The transformation would be quick, but not painless, as her body was no more, the matter would swell, bulging and bubbling like over heated tar, blood curdling screams mixed with sickly sounds of flesh tearing, bones breaking. The matter would soon rise high enough to allow her new form to be brought back into existence, the substance would begin to drop from her body, rolling off the beautiful silver fur which covered her wolven body from head to tail. Standing before Hartia was the all too familiar sight of a giant silver wolf, with angelic looking feathered wings, icy blue glowing eyes, of which there was no pupil...Nothing but a cold empty looking gaze.

"You can at least call me by my new name...Luna.." She would say, and although her lips did not move, her voice echoed through the air with authority. She had worked hard all her life to perfect her wolf like body, the body she had lived in for many years, standing now at five feet at her highest point. Her body was sleek and muscular, beautiful in every aspect of the word, turning so that she was side on to her old friend, her wings folding tightly against her back.

"Now the games truly will begin...." She would say, this time her jaw would open enough to allow some of the icy mist float out of her throat. Baring her overly large fangs, poison dripping from the tips, lips peeling back as she closed her jaw to growl menacingly.

Dangerous Businessman

As the change began, he could smell the transformation, and hear her screams. With a large smile on his face his bones began to crack and shift, his muscles bulging as his form began to shift. Suddenly he burst into flames. As this happened the Thermokinetic field about the ceased to exist. He couldn't truly manipulate his skills to there fullest in wolf form. Though he always had a tie to fire. White wings of a 12 foot span lashed out to his sides spread wide just before the wings flapped towards Luna, extinguishing the fire and smoke from his form though it didn't bother him at all, and ultimately sending the wave of flames straight at Luna toward the dead end of the alley. The flames rose to the same height of the walls around them as the top of the flames stretched a little passed the roof tops of the bar and other buildings around them. Now visible, one would witness the strangest wolf they had ever scene. It was like Luna's in a lot of ways, but he just seemed to come off immediately as on Alpha.

"What's wrong with your old one!?"

H
is voice ominously rumbled from the air as hers did, his lips rolled back to bare his fangs as he growled viciously. His eyes had completely glazed over in a green colored glow, though there was no specific reason for it. His visceral fangs dripped venom as apposed to poison. A neurotoxin to be exact. Should she not prove to have an immunity to said venom, Hartia would win this fight faster than he thought. He still had a trump card of a defensive ability that would ensure he not be inflicted by ailments.

Luna turned to face the oncoming wall of flame, slamming her left front paw down on the ground before her and lowering her head, the matter which still lay about the ground rose up to shield her body from the flames touch, although the alleyway quickly became heated. Fortunately in this form her flesh was protected by her thick luscious fur, keeping her cool rather than warm.
Taking a few more steps forward she would snarl and growl deeply in defiance of Hartia's wolf form, impressive as it was she could not help but become a little feral at the sight. It had been far too long since she had seen another wolf, her heckles raising as her body stiffened in an aggressive manner, tail rising to become level with her back while she raised her head high. She was never an alpha female during her time in the pack, always being a lone wolf, living on the outskirts where she once had a family. That family was stripped from her, and worse still everything she loved had died not long after her return.

Seeing the beautiful creature before her only served to bring back the painful memories, to give the feral minded beast within a chance to break free. Struggling to control her emotions Luna let out a mournful howl, it would rise into the air and seem to crack the very sky with its anguish. Lowering her head to lock those icy blue eyes onto Hartia's glowing green orbs, "I am not her any more..." She would spit out, her body trembling as she took yet another step forward, the matter below her rolled along the ground as if it were a moving carpet. Each time she lifted a paw the matter would drip from it in long black threads, it was almost alive with its movements.

But the she wolf did not attack, no, not yet, she wanted to look upon the beast. He was larger than her, not terribly much so, but it was noticeable never the less, his body more muscular and manly...thicker.
He had grown into an impressive animal, much like she had, sniffing the air to pick up his unique scent she would once again bare her teeth at him. Extending her wings and rearing up to stand on her hind legs, her body would shimmer in the light, the silver fur reflecting it.

folding her wings back and letting her forepaws come crashing down onto the matter covered ground she let out a thunderous roar, the matter splashed into the air upon contact, then with the roar of its creator it would shift. Taking the shape of small shard like objects, many only a little bigger than a needle, flicking her head up high she would send the projectiles flying towards Hartia.
They would be spread out around six feet across, and five feet in height. Sharp enough to penetrate the flesh should they strike, if successful and they enter his blood stream she would be able to move them around, if only with her thoughts...But this would also render any other attacks useless since it would take all of her concentration to move the matter within his own body.

Jay's timing had always been great, this time upon her return to the bar she would be standing at the entrance to the alley in absolute shock. What she saw was far beyond normal...Two giant ******** wolves, one she knew to be Luna...But the other she had no idea, where the ******** did they all come from, was this some kind of ancient breed of demon? Jay groaned aloud at her own thoughts, it was always her that had to come across this s**t, never someone who could actually understand it and explain it.

"What the ******** man!!" She would cry out as she took off running down the road, figuring it would be better to NOT get eaten by one of the beasts, Luna was a feral creature to say the least, but in wolf form she was beyond reasoning with. Having witnessed her actually tear a demons throat out and begin feeding off it, the woman was pretty confident she had made the right decision by leaving.

"Oh...No one is going to ******** believe this s**t.." She would mutter as she quickly turned back and ran to the corner, poking her head around she would pull her cell phone out of her bra, opening it and taking three pictures of the two massive wolves. "Ha! Lets see what he thinks of this!" She would say with delight, taking off back down the road, running now to try and get far away from the 'soon to be' disaster zone.

Moving quickly Jay would head off to the only place where she knew she could drink, and maybe have a friend actually believe her story.

Dangerous Businessman

He expected her to block the flames, and she did. He did not press more attacks on her yet, he watched her display her ploy of dominance. Though he was more often than not a silent killer. He only made noise when intimidating/showing his balls to someone, or during a strike that was no surprise. She reared up, and when she came back down she splashed shards into existence, her strong roar casting them in his direction. With his wings folded in at this point, his legs bent at the knees, his two back legs more than the two front. Pouncing to his left, he would be successful at aerodynamics as he swiftly Jumped to the wall. When he reached it, he was more than half way up it, and his paws would extended from bent legs once more to push him off of the wall, causing him to flank Luna's left side in an dive bomb maneuver. As he flew from the wall, a very brief growl rumbled from deep within his chest, converting into a full blown roar that was almost identical to the sound of thunder rumbling.

That wasn't all. Accompanying his roar would be flames shooting from his mouth, stretching to the opposing wall with ease, though it wouldn't set the building on fire so easily it would seem the trash in the alley was fuming into a stinky smog. If they were lucky, they would make on Gaia Channel 9 Action News. Hoping the roar stunned her enough to burn and/or distract her, his ultimate plot would to latch onto her neck. Regardless of where though, he was prepared to inflict his venom upon her. Even if it did get into her system and she could not rid of it herself, he would surely be fine with ridding her of the ailment before death was experienced.
