Flutter was sitting underneath of an enormous tree. The shadow of the silent behemoth cooled her off, while the sun beat down mercilessly. There were piles of dirtied snow that were clinging to the vestiges of their winter reign, slowly trickling away into the ground that was swollen with moisture.

Spring was tantalizing the senses with a vague commitment to possibly make an appearance. The temperature had gone from negative redonkulous, to plus something. It was cool, but comfortable.

Flutter closed her eyes, jut her chin upward, and leaned against the trunk of the tree. It was a spot that grounded her to the here and now, as well as helped her head stop spinning momentarily.

She could drink like a sailor, but she was cranky as a newborn when she woke from it the next day. She was gearing herself up to eating something, but her stomach hadn't yet caught up with the notion.

Talon whistled softly to himself as he strode down the forest's path, the slightly opaque and icy blade of his magical katana bouncing off his shoulder to the beat. The silver-haired, azure blue eyed man wore simple black jeans and a leather jacket, both stained ever so slightly by the blood of some vicious creatures that had attacked him on the road. They were like wolves, almost, but something was different about them.

The half demon sensed something very different about this whole area. Dark, but not evil. Benign, but not necessarily good.

Talon's eyes lit up when he rounded the bend, casting his glare upon the large building and the swirling, dark mass above. In his nearly two thousand years of life, Talon Sky had heard of such phenomenons, but had never seen one with his own eyes.

And as his keen senses picked up the various scents of alcohol and food, it seemed to be located over a tavern. Of course it was.

Well,
Talon thought to himself as he slid the icy katana into the sheathe at his side, I could go for a drink anyways.

Remained seated, with his legs over the edge of the roof, did Shadow stare blankly out and forward. Night remained, a warm touch of weather as of recent, as he licked his lips slowly, and showing of a serious face. Click, click; the back of his right foot's heel tapping lightly to the surface of the front wall beneath him. He was positioned still along the front, middle of his tavern, sitting on the roof. His hands in his lap, and him posed sitting straight up. Seemingly lost in thought for the moment, as he tucked his tongue back inside and closed his mouth. Thoughts continued to play as they often did, wondering far and away.

"Vanilla skies."

He stated in a low breath, but the night was dark, so he clearly couldn't be stating on the current frame of view.

The light tapping stopped and his eyes shifted, adverting over to his left, focusing far off and into the woods direction. Narrowing his eyes, looking just past the perimeter of the tree line past the field from his building. There seemed to be nothing, and the night was still and quiet. He shifted his eyes back, remaining narrowed as he looked down the roadway leading out from his establishment.

"Does the time emerge."

Speaking off on some lost tangent.

Katarjena's Waifu

"Leave your fears behind."

Speaking softly, as he lifted up and twirled his right hand. A plum of smoke pop out and quickly consumed the image of his hand in a sphere of darkness. The smoke, a moment later, dispersed quicker than it appeared, leaving the image of his hand once more. However with the return of his hand was it holding a lit cigarette. He brought the newly joined smoke to his lips, pausing before he took a draw and spoke once more, in a devious, low-speaking tone.

"Illusions of grandeur and subtlety are at a lost. Can you say goodbye to yesterday?"

Taking a draw of his cigarette now, holding the smoke between his right hand's index and middle finger, his lips pressing it tightly for a moment as he enjoyed the toxins in his inner-chest. A moment or two passed and then he'd remove the cigarette from his lips and slowly exhale smoke from his mouth.

"But you could call the Four Horsemen. Call it Death. Call it War. Pick a side and burn the streets. Oh, my, my. Blood's at your feet."

He spoke rather quickly, as enticed by something, but his serious-wrenched face remained stained, with his narrowed eyes and pondering mind. His blood, however, was always geared and primed for a moment's notice of relentless battle.

Up the path from the nearest settlement to the parking lot, a diesel engine drones, the tires rolling on a surface they've touched before, and the two occupants already know the way.

"Huh, never thought Leo would be in Sigil..."

"...and in pieces. Guess that ends our employment there before it even started..."

Aveline parks her F-350 on the opposite side of the lot than it sat when Tiamat munched on it a good amount of time ago.

"I just hope that damn curse from that one powerful demon is gone."

'Well, I guess we'll find out soon enough..."

Aveline shifts the transmission into first, sets the parking brake, then turns of the engine before the two siblings exit the vehicle.

Aveline takes her Fender Jaguar out of the backseat while Thurgood takes her Mustang III amp, before locking the cab and trudging up the path to the familiar building.

((I noticed that you didn't take their names off of room 6...))

Shadow pivoted his seating, placing his feet onto the roof-top once behind him as he sat over the ledge. He'd lift up, standing now, and walking away from the edge. Once he reached the roof entrance he'd swipe his access card to allow entry, enter, and then close the door behind him. Traveling from the stairwell, along hallways, and from floor to floor until he'd reach the main floor of his Tavern. The bar-floor was quiet, and dimly light. Moving now over to a controlled lighting would he bring the lights up, brightening up the floor now to show it was active for business. After he finished adjusting the proper lighting - more on the soft tone but not dim - would he continue about his way to behind the bar's counter.

Why thank you. I rather enjoy it, too. ;3

"Pendulum; does it swing. I've set the world on fire; ring-ring."

Words he tossed out, as if singing. The Tavern was rather quiet and empty, but maybe he'd liven that up some, even if he had to do it by himself.

Shadow shifted around behind the bar's counter top, moving over to the radio and clicking it on. Music played about the surround system about the bar's counter area, and comfortably playing about the once-quiet Tavern. It was some sort of upbeat, modern-age, rap mixed in with some hard beats. It was a enjoyable, or at least passable, mix of sorts that some DJ was spitting out through the radio. He continued about his movement behind the bar's counter, grabbing a rag and damping it down, whipping down the counter and clearing off what litter dust and dirt there may have been.

Once he finished up his light cleaning he would grab; as he often did; a fifth of vodka from the freezer and position himself along the middle of behind the counter. He'd open the fresh, freezing-cold bottle and take a hard swig. After settling the quench he had he'd fire up a cigarette, placing the bottle on the counter momentarily and simultaneously sliding over an ashtray for his use.

Demonic Waffles

He was suave, was he the one she was suppose to be after?

The bass in the club was loud, it was a dark and haunting sound that filled the room. Music was an interesting tool against humans and lunar creatures alike. It could make them happy, sad, pleasured, angry, it bended them any way it wanted. Dreamer moved through the crowd, watching the faces on people as she passed. People were moving to the beat, curling against eachother in a sensual manner, or simply dancing alone to their own beat. It was a den of vampires, and to them she looked like a simple human. She was even able to mask her smell, her light gray eyes looked around until she found the one in a top hat.

He was in a VIP seat with a bunch of his posse, obviously looking like he owned the place.

For now she simply watched, swaying side to side as the music played. Her long midnight hair had reached a little farther then her mid back. All of her scars were gone, her horns and tail hidden by magic. Tonight she made sure she looked appealing, if only for the simple fact that she was going to end this mans life.

At this club, people wore what they wanted, a gothic attire, black underwear, furry ears, cosplay, it was all mismatched. However it suited the place, it was a band of 'misfits' congregated in one area. 'Be yourself' seemed to be the motto.

She fell along the trend, a pair of black underwear, strapless bra, thigh high tights with boots that almost reached as high. Around her neck was a large gold piece of jewelery that stretched around her collar bone like a gypsy, strands of gold wrapped around her shoulders and dipped into her stomach. Even though her eyes were a dull cloud color, the gold and black around her eyes illuminated them.
