you can deflect those with guard or hit them back i think. Guard i know blocks them. The only magic i used in the kh2 sephi fight was max level cure.

@Kef: Reflega blocks them all. I'm big on magic and go to get as many MP bars as possible because it makes the tournaments so much better. Where difficulty isn't the problem, but time is. Really I mostly just did any action commands when I could in KH2 because they were awesome.
