It would help if I wasn't paler then casper 99% of the time.

Oh, I know. I limit myself to 40min a day. 20 each side. My husband suggested he stick his thermometer in me to see if I am done (lol the perv)

I used to spend hours on the beach with SPF 10. I am past that point in my life.

I prefer the more elevated places and the woods. Just enjoy yourself.

Well, now it hasn't stopped raining since my dad brought me the plants, which means I haven't been able to plant them yet.

On burning; I haven't been to the beach this year, but with all the working outside, I've only managed to get two burns.

Which I think is a pretty good track record, considering that I was a dipshit and didn't wear sunscreen most the time because I thought I'd take less time to do chores than I did. And only one was bad enough to require an ice water vinegar bath - my dad's magical not-so-secret cure for heat and sun burns. Sadly, leaves you smelling like a salad.

My husband hasn't gotten burned yet this year. But then again, he's inside, at work during most of the daylight hours. However, his track record for burns are horrifying. We kinda timed it once, because I knew that more that 15 minutes in direct sunlight unprotected on a totally clear day will start a burn on me, a little one that provides discomfort but doesn't inhibit doing anything really.
But during social situations B. clings to any person he knows. So he was with me for 15min in the sun at the beach a decade back, and he did more than redden.
Turned blistery then full snake on all burn areas.
And he would not try the magical burn cure that is vinegar because he hates the smell that much.

Seriously, vinegar is the shiznite. Also ace for streak-free clean windows and super shiny hair.
