Well, I can take them along with me to fight in stronger dungeons, but once they die, they stay gone until I leave the dungeon (unless I have a revive seed, but those are rare and I only use them for important missions) x.x Thus they lose lots of opportunities to gain more EXP.

It is, but only to the extended teammates. The main player and his immediate partner level up quite nicely. And the good thing is that while you're fighting, you can recruit pokemon from the dungeon you're in, so if you're in a high-level area, you can get high-level pokemon :3 It evens out.

Jennifer Hale was cast as a kid relative of a character, then later as the same character's love interest. Laura got cast like that, but in reverse.

I do too. The only time this becomes a real problem is when I need a specific type for a mission DX Then I gotta spend extra time pumping it up so it'd be strong enough to help me.
