I was about to eat my salad mix when I noticed mold spores on one of the greens (I bought this salad less than 2 weeks ago). I tossed that and whatever was around the infected greens away, but now I'm not sure if the rest of the salad is okay to eat or if I should throw it away. Advice please?
How does the rest smell? How does it taste? How does it look?
If it tastes fine, smells fine and looks fine, it is probably still fine.

If it was me, I'd throw it out.

It looks fine--none of the other greens look wilted, and there isn't a noticeable smell (but then again, I can't smell leafy greens, anyway).

Then I would just eat it. It probably is fine.
But make sure that you eat it today, as it will spoil quicker once there has been a bit of mold in the container.

I would recheck and make sure that portion is still good. Wash it a lot of times and then I think you should be good.

This. No point in getting food poisoning or worse over it. It's probably a better idea to buy a new bag, although you might want to call the customer hotline and tell the manufacture what you found.

For me, anything that is more than 3 days, I would toss it.
How on earth can a salad mix last anywhere near 2 weeks?
I don't touch leafy greens if they've stood opened for more than 5-6 days, even if they've been in the fridge. You probably won't die, but sometimes you can't see mold on leafy greens but you should be able to smell it. It would often have a "bitter" smell to it, if it's too old.
And if you found mold in it, you should throw it out.

Meh. There's a difference between moldy and rotten.

Food-wise, the main problem with mold is usually that it's unpalatable. Mold that grows on your floor is a lot different than mold that grows on your salad, and it's the type that grows in the former environment that's more likely to be dangerous.

That said, moldy bread was the cause of the mass hysteria that caused the witch burnings in Salem. lol
