Worst character of all time... Anyone from the Expendables franchise? Talk about one-sided characters! Ed Skrein's character from Tau, to name a more recent example. Although Ed Skrein characters in general (with a few exceptions like Prince Nuada from Hellboy 2) are fairly bland.
The scariest character is also a fairly small field. John Travolta in Swordfish was good. Sean Connery in The Avengers is also a scarily good, gentlemanly villain. The scariest character for me as a child was Evil from the Time Bandits.
The most laugh-out-loud funny character in recent memory is Paul Rudd in Antman. I like the way he makes the character his own. Ron Pearlman can be really funny (Blade 2, about the only good thing in that movie, as well as the Punisher short film opposite Tom Jane). Dara Ó Briain is a character, and he is funny as all balls.
The sexiest character is anything acted by Monica Bellucci, hands down.
The most obnoxious character has to be whenever Jack Black is in a supporting role. He works ok-ish when he is the center of attention, but I find him highly annoying whenever he is there to play along a cast, because he just doesn't sync well with others. I like Tropic Thunder, hate Black's character. I somewhat enjoyed the Jumanji reboot (ah, Karen Gillan
redface heart ), but Black kept rubbing me the wrong way.
