Take plastic bags to grocery stores
Turn the lights off
Conserve water
Walk or Ride your bike instead of drive
Take gently used clothes to thirft shops or charity
Contribute to local charity
Eat organics and local farming foods

There are so many ways to contribute to our planet and people smile

good idea! i should do that. i have 7 people in my house and it would sure be a challenge to get them all to use as less electricity as possible.

I'm part of the Environmental Club in my school, and we're going to have an Earth-friendly picnic.
We'll all bring our own non-disposable plates and utensils as well as steel water bottles. And we'll have plenty of organic food to eat. ^_^
We're also planning on planting an organic garden in a small part of the school grounds.
After the school stuff I'm gonna return home and try not to use the water too much or turn on too many electric devices.
So those are my plans. >w<

Honestly I have classes all day on Earth day.

The things you mention I tend to do already as an act
of conserving, so I won't be doing anything special
for earth day. I'll be tired by the time I get out of class.

But seriously, this Earth Day's my 18th birthday. So I shall probably not do anything environmentally noteworthy upon the day itself, but I already picked up trash off a road in anticipation of it. =)
