Outfits, like on my avatar? Or the drawing for my submitted dress? I don't know which one you mean... sweatdrop

For my avatar outfit, I just pick one thing I really want to wear, and then I add things around it that have the same color or style. In this one, I picked the dress first and then picked teal draping things.

If you meant the drawing instead and how it's in pixels, I drew it with a very thick pen, then I scanned it into Photoshop and just painted inside the lines.

I agree that it looks foreign, like a fruit sari or something. Not that that's a bad thing. I'm just afraid that some people might see it as costume-y for that reason sweatdrop But I like it, though! The colors are very light and fresh, and it's not something that's overdone. I'm not crazy about the mid-length of it, but that's honestly just me. It's a cute design still.
