Should open up availability for some better people then.
We just hired 3 people. 1 lasted 2 days, and one of the others I don't believe she will last.
The biggest problem that we have is, it's such a fast-paced environment and they cannot handle the stress. We tell them that it will be okay and it is goin' to take time to learn everythin'. It also doesn't help that it is a small place so it can feel very claustrophobic to them which stresses them out even more.
It also doesn't help that the people my boss hire can only work certain days and times. So for a select few of us callin' out is almost impossible. I work 6 days a week (Now 7 days, just picked up a part time job as a bar back down the street from my house.) and I literally cannot call out, because there really isn't anyone that can/will cover my shift. Then the girls complain because they want more shifts, but when asked to work they never can. I swear a lot of them don't have a very good work ethic, and I'm the mean b***h at work because I actually make them work. lol I just tell them that I'm not there to be their friend and we are here to work that is what we get paid to do.
