Essentially it is the history of the States, from discovery to about 2004, but no. Not every state unless something major occurred there. But the class goes veeerrrry in-depth within the subject boundaries regardless.
French isn't too bad I guess. I just wish my teacher actually taught class in French. (I think she's become too Americanized xD)

He also named the native people 'Indians' although he did not find one spice. You might want to try 'People's History of the United States' by Howard Zinn, which also starts at 1492, for a different viewpoint.
