I got verbally assaulted and threatened today by a customer who didn't have their receipt verifying they prepaid for their cake order. I tried to search the computer logs for the day she said she bought it to try and find her ticket, but while I was in the office they hauled a** out the store and continued to call and harass me about ice cream they swore they also paid for.

About an hour later, the lady calls back and apologized to me, saying she found the receipt, she didn't pay for the ice cream, and she remembered the store manager said if she got ice cream she had to take it with her, there would be no come back to pick it up with the cake.
She apologized for how she acted, how she treated me and said she was ashamed.

It was a nice end to the situation, but really.
Why would you threaten someone over $4.

People have killed for less, but still. Keep up with your receipts.
