I am cleaning the house since 4am through a manic burst of energy, and it feels so nice getting things done

But I found an old gift box I made for an old friend. I made her a custom wooden box, filled it with jewelry/pins/keychains/gemstones. A fursuit tail, some books, a drawing of her character, some other little bits and pieces. Ugh crying

I kept that box there for years. She had a habit of deleting her accounts, removing all her friends and going radio silence, then coming back and we'd start talking again like nothing happened.

I definitely loved her a lot. I've kept that box sitting in that closet forever hoping she would get in touch again after her last deletion like usual, and she never did.

Like, I have no sense of friendship decay when I genuinely like someone. I've had pals come back from literally like 10 years and we've picked up no problems.

I think I'm finally ready to toss this stuff, though. I can't have things sitting around forever. I will redistribute it as other gifts to people. sweatdrop
