2. Rules for THE Charity Ornament Game

* THE Charity Ornament Game will begin will begin December 24th and end December 29th. Please do not begin the game before that or you may miss a last-minute addition. You must have a ticket to win a prize. Tickets are 300g until the event begins, 400g "at the door." Simply start a trade with me with "ticket" somewhere in the title. All ticket holders may play, including mules.

* Each Participating Charity has posted a banner linked to this event on their first page. Near the banner is a text description of an "ornament" that charity would hang on our Charity Christmas Tree.

* Use the "Charities Ornaments" form in the next post to keep track of which "ornament" each charity hangs. I'm not worried about every word being perfect, but they must be listed with their charities in the order they'll appear on THE Charities Ornament form.

* PM me, THE Santa Claus, with the completed form. Please do not post the completed form anywhere.

* Each winner will get a small prize. One winner will get THE Grand Prize to be announced.

4. THE Dreamy Christmas Puzzles

To be eligible to win prizes, you must buy a ticket to this event (only 300g until December 24th, when the price goes up to 400g) and solve at least one of the Puzzles below. Each Clever Elf who solves at least one of the Puzzles will get a worthless prize, but one random Clever Elf will get a grand prize to be announced soon! I choose random Clever Elves by giving each one a number for each puzzle solved and then using Random Number to pick a number randomly to win. Each logic puzzle will get progressively harder. You may PM me about them as often as you like. This is not "first answer = only answer" situation. I definitely believe in second (and third and so on) chances! Each person may only win one prize (including mules). Please keep your answers in the order given in the introduction. I would like to thank Everett Kaser who designed the game Sherlock, upon which all these puzzles were based.

Dreamy Puzzle #1

It's time for Christmas Dreams to begin to come true, as the elves go to bed. Which elf wore carried which soft toy to sleep with? What color were their blankets and in what order were their beds?

Robin was the sleepiest elf.
The Rag Doll was in the bed to the left of the Velveteen Rabbit.
The Teddy Bear was tucked under the Green blanket, not the Blue one.
The Velveteen Rabbit was in the bed between the one with the Red blanket and Sam's.
Willow slept in the bed next to the Teddy Bear's bed.

Dreamy Puzzle #2

There must be a snack before bed! But the elves weren't very careful about which snacks would aid sleep. Which elf snacked on which treat and which drink in which color cup? In which order did they sit?
Tina snacked next to the Sugar Plums.
The Candy Canes were next to the Green cup.
Egg Nog was served in a Red cup.
The Gold cup was between the Green cup and the Red cup.
Rosa was next to the Silver cup.
The Red cup came before Tina.
The Cider was served in the Gold cup.
The Fruit Cake came after the Candy Canes.
The Milk was between Gloria and Hot Cocoa.
Felicia baked the Cookies (but she may or may not have eaten them).

Dreamy Puzzle #3

The Sewing Circle Elves do so much more than simple sewing to make Christmas Dreams come true. Which elf sat on what using which method to make which color item in which order left to right?

The Blue item was next to the elf making Mittens.
Melissa, not Beth, made a Scarf.
Rosie was somewhere to the right of the elf who was Quilting.
Rachel made a Blue Blanket.
The Sewing elf was next to the one making the White item.
Ella sat on a Stool Quilting.
The Rocker was somewhere to the left of the Green item.
The Mittens were Knitted, not Crocheted.
Ella made a Hat.
Rachel sat next to Melissa.
The elf on the Sofa was making something Yellow, not Pink.
The Blue item was between the elf Weaving and the Chair.
Rosie sat in the Rocker making a Stocking.
The elf Knitting was somewhere to the left of the Bench.

Rules for the Dream short story contest


1. Story must be at lest three (3) paragraphs long and no longer then 500 words.
2. Must be a story taking place or including a dream any genre you like
3. You must keep it PG 13
4. Do not just copy and past a story, you must write it your self.
5. Please use proper English and proper grammar
6. You must include these words/ names into your story please color them so I can spot them they can be in past tense or whatever:

9. Bumping Contest Rules & Prizes

o1. Bumpers must hold a ticket to qualify for the bumping prizes.
o2. Please number your bumps. If you do not do so, I will not count them.

- Do not skip numbers.
- Buy a ticket from Santa so you can qualify for prizes!
- Charity bumps and regular bumps must be separate.

There will be a pre-event bumping contest, and an event bumping contest.
The prizes will be the same for both! So if you don't win the 1st time, maybe you can the 2nd time!

14. How the Charities Can Participate in THE Charity Christmas Dream Event

* Keep on giving throughout the event, just as you usually do.

* Post a banner (see next post) to this event on the first page of your charity, linked back to this thread. Next to the banner write a short phrase describing the Ornament your charity will hang on our Charity Christmas Tree. It can be anything at all!

* PM me so I know you're participating, please. Include the name and link for your charity.

NOTE: If you did not get an invitation but you are still a charity that has been giving for at least a month, you ARE eligible to participate! Just do the above. Thanks for all you do!
