I notice in the Houston Metro area which I live in now it seems it depends on the neighborhoods or cities (mostly neighborhoods). But I find it amusing that when I lived in Iowa I never heard half the terrible things I hear about dog breeds here. My uncle has always had German Shepards and out of all of them only one was aggressive but she was a rescue so I can understand that.

I lived outside of Brenham! Small world lol. My brother had a HUGE dog. Around 90 pounds. And never a problem. He was a lap dog in his head.
Of course, he being the breed he was. Was killed by a cop who was on the other side of a fence!
