*insert into conversation* I don't willingly celebrate any holiday. But I sure do like the colour scheme of Halloween and the macabre is interesting no matter how you slice it.

I'd go to Japan for a multitude of reasons. Halloween never even occurred to me for that list. Although, I suppose with the quality of their cosplayers, Halloween would be pretty freaking cool to see.

I'm honestly flabbergasted that that wasn't a reason on my list for going there. Although, right now, the top of the list is a certain Shinto festival centered around a certain male body part that they now believe is shameful to their heritage.

All I ever got was tons of candy.. and some oddball little toys.
I remember there was someone going around putting razorblades in candy. >.<
So kids were discouraged from eating trick or treating candy for a few years.

It seems like it would be 900 kinds of fun. There are huge wood and stone representations, clothes and other such merch, many on-theme foods and candies.
