I actually joined Gaia because of an IRL friend back in middle school. '05 for me as well.
back in the day I would throw gaia out in conversations to see if anyone else did &
usually no one knew what I was talking about. ; u ; so i've just stopped mentioning it altogether.
especially since it's a giant piggy bank now.

That happened to me too! I stopped talking about Gaia because everyone looked at me like I was weird.
Then they'd ask if it was like Neopets. LOL!
I had family over last night and they saw my roommate and I Gaia-ing and they were like, "What's that?"
