That was torture.
Not the tidying, the picturetaking.
As I suspected, it was the most awkward thing in the world because of the placement of my bed,

Oh, I get it.
You should have taken more pics and shown me everything, silly.
(I'm kidding. It's not a big deal)

Yeah, you told me about the stars.
Maybe I should invest in a special star jar too.
I've seen some pretty cute ones.

The lights on the string above your bed.

I can imagine how messy your room will be soon.

Time to upload my pics.
I took a lot, because it's hard to capture everything with a room my size.

I'm sure it was worth it.

Maybe later. It's just two walls you didn't get to see.
The wall where my bookshelves are, and the weird wall with my window.

Yes, you definitely should.

Oh.
I love those lights, too.
I got them not that long ago. At night if I have only those on it makes my room kind of glow a soft red.

Quite messy indeed.
As packing often tends to be.
Nothing is as bad as packing in April, though.

Okay.

I guess. Haha.

No, worries, no worries.

Maybe the next time I go to my favourite Asian mall.

Aww, that sounds romantic.
Now I really want lights like that.

How come April is worse?
Leftover textbooks?

Almost done. Mom came in again, but she just left. lol

Okay.

Mm. Though, to me it's just soothing.

That's when I have to pack my whole room in res.
It's a giant mess.
A lot of that stuff doesn't get unpacked when I get home.
So it's already good to go.

Okay.
No worries.

I just had the biggest struggle ever to find my band-aid stash...

Haha. I can imagine.
I have a little Japanese lamp that flickers like a real candle, but it barely lights anything.
Just looks pretty.

Makes sense.
Thankfully you only have to deal with a mess that huge once a year.

Pffft. Haha.
Why is that?
Woah, are you hurt?

Btw, here are the photos.
One, two, three, four, five, six, and my Golden Sun shrine.
I mainly took that many for a better sense of the size of my room.
Also, on my GS shrine are the stars and the dragon you made me.
I have the letter you sent me and the teas behind the flags up on the shelf.
I sometimes stick my nose in the envelope when I walk by. lol

I gotta do the dishes.
See you in a bit.

They actually give off a decent amount of light.
I can see everything in the room just fine.
The reddish glow is due to one and a half-ish of my walls being red.
And the lights are shining right down the wall too.

Yeah. That would be horrible otherwise.

I put them into a container on my shelf, then couldn't find them.
A little…
My blanket [the soft green one at the end of my bed in the pictures] somehow caught on a scab on my arm from a bug bite [I think that's what caused it…], and tore it off.
It started bleeding a bunch…

Your room is so cute and cheery. It's really personal and comfy looking.
It's really nice.
Seeing the dragon I made for you with your stuff makes me happy.
You have no idea. Seriously, you're going to make me cry…

Right now I've got the one you sent me on my bookshelf with my warm fuzzy pages, and my envelope stash.

Okay.
In the meantime I'm going to work on my Pran post.

I need more light in my room. :[
I have a lamp on my shelf which I just rotate towards me.
It has 3 different "moods", but the only good one is the regular mode.

Mhm.

Ah! Geez! That's terrible! I actually cringed when I read that.
Hate, hate, hate it when that happens!
I think I was moisturizing my legs a couple weeks ago, but my nails grew, so my pinks ripped off a scab on my knee!
I've been nursing that thing like crazy since I got it riding my bike to a friend's house.
When'd you get that bug bite anyway? I'm guessing the scab was pretty fresh.

I'm really glad you like it.
I like it too. Part of the reason I don't mind confining myself to my room.
Of course I'd put your dragon on display.
Haven't I told you how awesome it is?
When I need to think I always look up from my monitor, and there it is, across from my bed!

Warm, fuzzy pages?
I do not comprende. lol

Looks like my mom got it covered, so I dipped and came back.
Working on another Jakob post.
Forgive me. I'm slightly more excited about them than I am about Mycho... Echyou?
I don't know what to call those two.

Omg, I did half a Jakob post, then after you posted as Pran, I started half a Haku/Saigo post.
Now I'm shaking my fist at the animal cruelty that is bullfighting and returning to my Jakob post.
:P

Not having enough light is the worst.
Even though my room has a full sized window [which is awesome for being in the basement], it gets dark easy. I feel your pain.

It's the worst.
Honestly, I can't remember when it happened. Or if that's what it was for sure.
It was actually getting closer to being healed. And got messed up somehow, and then this happened.
Now it's really sore.

Yes, you did. And you told me where you put it before.
Being told, and seeing it aren't the same, I guess.

Didn't I tell you about that?
It was an end of the year thing we did on my floor.
Everyone had a page with their name on the top, and everyone else had to write nice anonymous messages one everyone else's page.
After everyone finally wrote on all the pages we were given our own. Mine is the front and back of one page, plus the front of another.
And I literally cry every time I read it. When we were given them by my RF I couldn't read it in front of everyone.

No worries. I barely knew what to even write for that Echo post.
I don't mind in the slightest.

Yikes. Does that mean the window gets scary at night time?
I bet you rush to shut the curtains.
That's what I do with the window.
-shivers-

Gaah. Always when it's about to heal!!

D'aww. Haha

Ohhh! No, I remember perfectly.
I just forgot they were called that.
I saw a pencil case covered in fluffy fur the other day, so I was picturing pages covered in fur. :/
Makes no sense. I know.

Coolios, hombre.

In a relationship with Terrowva

I don't find it creepy.
At night you can't really see out of the window anyway, since it's so dark.
And I don't have curtains. There's a rod, but no curtains...

I know, it's awful.

That kind of makes sense.
It's odd, but I get it.

As long as you don't find it creepy, that's all that matters.
Not being able to see outside would make it especially creepy for me.
But I don't know what's outside your window. Maybe it's something pleasant.
My dad has raised me to be a very paranoid kid.
He put bars on the windows in the basement and a long wooden block behind the sliding backyard door for nighttime.
Our bedroom windows can also side either way, so he stuck a screw right through them where they meet in the centre, in the event that anyone grabs a ladder and attempts to sneak into the third floor windows...
My mom and I unscrewed the ones we use though.
We used to have an alarm system too. After that broke down, we got these crazy latches for the two main doors in additional to their regular locks.
We also built a thick and massive door with a lock separating the two lower floors that we rent out to students from the upper three that we live in.
Just a precaution, in case the tenants decide to murder and rob us in the middle of the night.
-___-

Don't mind me and my cray assumptions. lol

In a relationship with Terrowva

There's nothing especially interesting to be seen from my window.
From my bed all that can be seen during the day is the sky. Standing you can see the ground.
Since it gets super dark at night where I live, from lack of street lamps, and anything at all really it's just dark.

Not having locked doors at night does creep me out.
After living on a floor with about sixty other people for two years, I cannot sleep without the door locked. And I will get up to check that it's locked if I can't sleep.
Seriously. Some random person came into my room while I was sleeping once, because my stupid roommate didn't lock the door when they left.
I don't know how some people can always just leave their room unlocked. Gah.

Well, I took pictures of the bits you didn't get to see.

Oh, okay your window isn't scary at all. I'm not sure what I misread that made me think you had a full-length mirror at ground level. That window is good. And I like your world map. When my mom came in earlier, I showed her your room and she thinks it's super cute. I had to explain that you weren't Chinese though. It's because of the scrolls on your walls.

I'm almost envious of how spacious your room is. Lookit that walking space, mang. It's a struggle for people to get around my bed to the bit of space by my window/desk. But I kinda like small spaces, I now realize. Large spaces make me really nervous. I'd just fill it up again. Your room looks like a good size though. The music stand is a nice touch (I know it's not meant for that. lol)

Yeah, unlocked doors are just a no-no. I'm guilty of leaving my house unlocked sometimes when I rush off to school, but I know my mom's just a couple seconds behind and will lock it for me. I also refuse to lock the bathroom door most of the time, because of all the times it accidentally locked on my family.

EDIT: Haha. You read Twilight. I must tease you for eternity.
