I am irritated/angry today but I usually get over it pretty quickly.
I try really hard to restrain myself from email/text as I will be nasty and regret it later.

XD;
I guess it depends on how you perceive that "friend."
If he/she isn't really a friend and more like an acquaintance, then being nasty might wake them up.
