I can't really talk about anyone not being on Gaia much *cough*.
I'm sorry to hear that, but there are some upsides! You can find a hobby, get into something new, spend some time figuring out a plan B in case the military doesn't work out in the end... just spend this free time being productive. :] I do hope that things work out for you, though.
I'll give you some good news, maybe it'll cheer you up a little. So, Gabe and I have spent the last few months looking at houses and we found the perfect one! We're in the buying process right now, just had the place inspected this past Saturday and the inspector pretty much said the place had little to no flaws. We're moving in August, which is when our lease is up at the apartment, and the current owners of the house will be "renting" the house from us since their new home is being built and isn't quite finished yet (which means they'll cover the mortgage costs from April until June). They'll be moving out in June, so we'll be able to start moving our stuff in after. Luckily, the house is just a 20 minute drive away, and I actually can drive past the house on my way to/from work, so over the summer I can take stuff over so we won't have much to move come August.
I was also just telling my friends in another thread that I want to be on Gaia more often, but we'll see how that goes. 99% of my subscribed threads are no longer active, so that sorta makes me not want to be here as much... ;n;
Enough about me though, let me add that I don't want you saying that you feel useless anymore! I'm sure you can think of something to do during this down time.
