That wouldn't be a bad idea. And I have some things in mind. But wouldn't a contest defeat the purpose of hosting this thread as a charity? The ideal of a charity is altruistic donations, but if I hold a contest than I'm advocating a reward for efforts on behalf of the contestant.
That's true.
It's just that a contest is all I could think of.
I've noticed that when threads start to die, it's really hard to pick them back up. Most people will only post in a thread these days if there's something in it for them.
And although you're a very generous donor (thanks for the trade, by the way) people don't like waiting for their donation.

I absolutely agree, and to that unfortunate analysis as well. You're welcome by the way.
The thing that gets me most is that the longer I spend time on Gaia, the more I'll meet cool people like FoF, Lily, Shiibz, CB, and you. But that's a double-edged sword. I say that because in the time I spend meeting cool people, I'm also going to be around to see their end on this site. 4 of some of the coolest people I've met on this site don't go on anymore, and if I stick around more, I might just see you quit, and so on. I guess I'm debating whether the ends justify the means in this case. I absolutely have no problem with constantly donating, I feel good about it actually, but I want to be able to filter out the people who are genuinely here to talk and stay, and the people who're putting up a facade for free stuff.
Eh... I need to watch some ponies or a read a nice fan-fic...
