“Awake, arise or be for ever fall’n.”

A gust of wind played with his hair as it tumbled over his shoulders and tickled the bare parts of his skin. The caramel hot chocolate lingered on his tongue that when he finished both he went back inside and got a second cup, much larger than the first. He deep breath in that his mind had almost calmed down to a normal rate. It was odd to probably see the guy like this when he was usually all over everything, literally, everything. At that moment his heart rate speed up and he felt eyes on him. He looked up only to see a normal mass of people walking by. He held the cup up to his nose and inhaled as his eyes narrowed. His body wouldn't let it go and he began to head in the direction the eyes had come from. There was no possibly way of picking out who it was because they were long gone but for all he knows the person could be waiting for him.

He checked the tiny timer again, but still nothing. Maybe his insanity was too strong for anybody to handle, that or he was in the wrong city and his person was halfway across the world, or even on a different planet. He stopped in his tracks making a woman in a hurry bump into his back. She started to apologizes but the low growling in her voice made her stop dead in her tracks and she quickly scurried away like a little mouse who was dinner for a lion. He watched her go before she was out of site and he started his saunter walk up again.

About half a block down he had finished the second cup of hot chocolate and threw it in the nearest trashcan and continued walking only to take several steps backwards. A bookstore, and it looked like a secondhand bookstore, which was even better. He watched as people darted about trying to pass him only to enter a shop that was next door. It took him a total of three minutes just to be able to grab the handle of the door. Then another minute before he closed the door behind him because so many people kept hitting him with there bags. What's wrong with this world.

A little crazy in the eyes he took a deep breath in and his mouth feel open. Why had he never seen this store before? This place had the most amazing feeling ever. Dull light, old wooden floors. This was Lucifer's heaven, well that and maybe having a few man sex here and there but still. A woman behind the counter looked up, her eyes looking him up and down like she was scanning him before looking back down. Did he pass? He stared at her for a little while longer and when she didn't move her head, but only her hand he released the door handle and took his first step fully into the store. He should get a job here.

Shelves upon shelves of new and old books sat happily together waiting for just the right person to pull them off and carry them home. Lucifer could spend hours here and not even see the whole place. He would take every single book that had an interesting name down from the shelf and just sit and read it. He could spend nights here. A secondhand bookstore was like the Louvre for Lucifer. He waltz around the first floor of the bookstore just feeling spines and sniffing really old books just to make himself melt a little. A few books he pulled off the shelf in complete interest, but put them back feeling bad. He didn't need more books but, no one could ever have enough books.

Eventually more eyes reached his back and he turned. The woman had been stalking him for a while now, that he couldn't really handle it. "May I help you?"

The woman jumped like she wasn't expecting him to actually say something to her. But her eyes narrowed, "Making sure your not going to destroy any of these books!"

She snapped. Lucifer drew back a little in shock but shook his head. "Destroy these? That would be like a sin to a Christian for me."

Her eyes relaxed a little, then she slowly completely released the tension, her eyes becoming soft. "You sound like someone else I know who recently just entered. I have no idea where he went but you two should get together." She gave him a large smile. "Take your time."

He gave her a nod. "Thanks..." "I think." He added in his head. She crept him out a little. She was like an eagle or a cat. Something predator that ways stalking her pray. He fidgeted a little trying to get the feeling off of him. "Not to self: Don't get on this woman's bad side." She had claws and teeth and she was not afraid to use them.

By the time he was finished with the first floor he had to resist taking them home and made his way upstairs to the second floor. The place was kind of empty but he didn't mind as he glided down each row of the bookshelves. His hands began to fiddle around with his hair and eventually he pulled the ribbon out of his hair and retied his hair up into a sloppy bun as he began to creep closer to the mythology. Collections of Egyptian Myths, Greek, Roman, practically any religion that had Myths were there.

One book in particular caught his eye. It had a very old binding to it. The cover was withering away, showing the original thick binding material for it. Gold stitches gleamed in the light at the right angles. He hesitated, debating if he should look at it or not. He feared he would cave in and never put it down. But curiosity got the best of him and he reached for the book that was calling his name softly.

There is an excitement about having nightmares.

The red head was glad there were no needles involved; he wasn’t fond of them really. They made him think of going to the doctors, which he didn't particularly enjoy either. Watching the stapler pres down into his wrist he felt the timer snap into place with a slight sting. The pain melted away as he pulled his wrist back to examine the small screen that was implanted into his wrist. He watched the screen flicker to life and start its countdown. The numbers went down faster than he had been expecting, and soon they were in the single digits. Letting his eyes flick away from his timer, he watched as Tala's was implanted. Hearing the clerk's comment to Tala's timer Matthius found a smile; how exciting!

Matthius met his best friend's eyes for a moment before the chirping started. Looking down at his timer, he watched as zeros stared back at him, flashing softly against the dimly lit screen of the device. When the chiming stopped, he looked back up to Tala and then over to the Clerks. "D-does this mean we're...." he said watching the Clerks as he waved a finger lightly between himself and Tala. When the Clerks nodded and smiled, Matthius returned his eyes to Tala. "Congratulations, you're soul mates." one of the Clerks said. Matty sat in silent disbelief; his best friend was his soul mate all along.

THE PUNK || BUSINESS ASSOCIATE // FERRIS WELDON

So it was a warpath between them. Ferris sighed, narrowing his eyes once more at the annoying p***k beside him. He had only been joking around when he brought up the timer or the boys parents. Being so relaxed in that chair made him remember he hadn't been sleeping well for days, so he was feeling too impotent to argue further. "I'm so happy to have met you." Sarcasm. "From the moment I laid eyes on you, I knew you were here to make me completely miserable." He flashed a smile that quickly turned into a snarl, before he shut his eyes.

Silence was a much better choice, and so for most of the ride he didn't part his lips. But only for most of it. He had a hard time sleeping when he felt tension from a person less than two feet away. Something about them being close enough to strangle him... Ferris could really bring the worse out of people. He had to figure out a way to lighten the mood so he could rest in peace, without having the words carved on a tombstone. But how does one make nice with someone so stubborn? Ferris stared at the driver for a second. 'Look at him. He's like an angry bear. An angry, overdressed bear... Like an aggressive Yogi.' Nope. He definitely couldn't sleep next to that. So he decided to make conversation. " 'Love's for those not blessed with money' " He more or less quoted, opening his mouth finally. "So... Have you ever had sex on a pile of cash? Just curious."

Ferris didn't expect an answer, since the question wasn't serious. That, and they seemed to have arrived at their destination. 'The Hidden'. "So this is where fancy people go to get fancy clothes. Sounds like a nightclub. I like." He wasn't quick to get out of the car, but after watching an older woman approach, asking about him, he lugged his heavy bones out of the vehicle. The blond smirked when introduced as nothing more than a business associate. "Business associate. Victim of abduction. Who's really concerned with labels here?" Ferris joked, keeping a kind smile as the woman introduced herself. "Ferris Weldon. And your son is right, you don't need to apologize. It was this, or deal with a very 'unique' client. I'm more or less relieved I was dragged from my studio."

With Arch leading the way, Ferris was left to escort the boys mother inside. He snorted at the notion of anyone being able to talk her son out of anything. From his short experience, the man was difficult. But, when he finally laid eyes on the suit, he could understand why she would enlist for help. "Oh God." There was too much going on there. "Absolutely dreadful." Agreeing with his mother. "Upside. I now like the way you're currently dressed."

If the other hadn’t come at all then neither of them would have been in the situation, at least not for a while longer until their paths crossed somewhere else along the line. Nicholas agreed to drinks first and talking later, he would need a slight haze for the discussion that was to come. Slipping into the bar, he followed his older brother to the corner table and sat. Nicholas could tell that Marco hadn't changed much in the last ten years. With that flat, in charge tone that left no room for argument. Telling his brother what he wanted, he watched the other stand and walk to the bar.

Letting his eyes wander around the dimly lit room, he realized that he rarely at tables in bars. He usually at the bar itself, drinking until the distinct lines between buzzed and tipsy started to fuzz. A soft sigh escaped his lips as he looked down at the zero faced timer in his wrist. 'Why him?' he thought, wondering if this was some cruel joke some divine entity played for its own enjoyment. When the glass was set in front of him, he felt his brother's hand ruffle his hair. "Thanks." he said picking up the glass and taking a drink of the golden liquid inside. It went down easily and warmed as it went, giving an odd sensation of comfort behind. Nicholas let his eyes rise from the glass when his brother spoke.

Speaking here wasn't the best option, somewhere more private for a private situation would have been better. "Somewhere else is fine." he said, gulping down the rest of what was in his glass before he stood to his feet and headed for the door of the bar.

Cars which passed by sounded so distant, so far away. Even the people who walked by felt nearly non-existent. Kaito felt as if he was all alone in this moment. Thoughts of what his parents reactions to this news made him physically ill. The young man had bought the timer to prove he wasn't into men. This was an obvious flop. His blue eyes searched the concrete as if it could offer some input or help to his situation. He found none. How was the young man to give his parents grandchildren if his soul mate was a man?

Drowning in his thoughts, the dark haired doctor didn't know how to stop the swirl of darkness which felt to encase him. Claustrophobia began to set in once more. Then he heard it. The voice that broke him free of those terrifying thoughts. That voice, asking for forgiveness? Kaito's eyes widened as he heard the male's voice. Now he had a name. Markus Lutheren. The young man took a deep breath, and stood up right, straightening himself out to his full height. Standing just a few inches taller than Markus, the black haired twenty-three year old finally caught full sight of his...soul mate.

The man's long silver hair billowed in the wind just slightly, glimmering in what little sunlight that danced between the buildings which shadowed the alley where they stood. Kaito's face lit up with a pale pink when the young man touched his hair. It was such a gentle touch, the young man didn't move. Instead he averted his blue eyes toward the concrete beneath them. Too nervous to move but more nervous to lock eyes with the handsome man before him, the lanky man stood still.

Kaito got what he wanted. He wanted to know who he was and tonight he had found a little piece of himself. It was a piece he wanted the timer to prove wrong. Buying the silly device was to find a woman, not a man. At least that's what he thought he wanted. Of course, the only decision the young man ever made was to give cheap or free treatments to people who needed them, a decision his parents loathed. His parents moved him like a puppet but this clinic was the one thing that was his. The only thing he could make a choice with. Now, he had been given something else to make a choice with.

Meeting Markus was perhaps the black haired young man's only chance at happiness. If he kept on living like his parents wanted, Kaito knew he would never be truly happy. After all, his childhood was remarkable truth to his unhappiness. The years he never smiled, just went through to motions to make other people happy. Markus, this strange flamboyant man, standing before him, was a chance to change things. Gripping his arm left arm, the tall dark haired man finally pulled his bright eyes from the floor.

                                        "I....I'm Kaito...Kaito Satori...."
He murmured his face solemn, still rosy cheeks flamed bright against his pale skin. "And..." He started trying to keep eye contact with Markus, "I'm terribly sorry for causing a scene." Kaito said finally, his eyes dropping to the ground in disappointment at himself. Yes, he was awkward in social situations, and that situation was far beyond what the young man could handle, but he had never caused such a ruckus before. Manners were the first thing in his family and everything he did showed his lack of restraint and control of the situation. Humiliation showed deep on his face.

"How close is your place?" Marco questioned as they stepped outside the bar. He hadn't had much to drink but his senses were fuzzed enough to think twice about driving. It'd be a bit of a walk but in theory he could take Nicholas back to his home. Though he wasn't sure how the other would react to the unique company he kept there. Marco owned a number of peculiar pets including a cobalt blue tarantula, a pair of ferrets, and a teal iguana. He liked strange things. Strange situations like they faced not so much. No matter where they went it would be an awkward experience for the both of them either way. Since leaving the bar, they had actually been walking in an undetermined direction or at least Marco had been moving as such. His mind subconsciously needed movement to cope with the underlying stress.

Realizing this Marco looked back down at his brother, "Am I leading or you?" He'd been lost once more in his own thoughts that he'd missed out on what the plan was or even how long they had been walking. Ultimately they did indeed ended up arriving at Nicholas' place just as the night was beginning to get chilly. He hoped this would be short and to the point. His step-brother couldn't possibly think they should try to make it work, did he? Marco didn't really know anything about Nicholas nor his method of reasoning.

Quite happily perusing his own love of books Erion hardly realized that anyone had joined him in the mythology section until he went to reach for the old leather-bound book which stood out as an anomaly to the snowy haired male. He was looking at a different book as he reached out for the book so his focus wasn’t on the stranger hardly a foot away nor the fact that they were reaching for the same book as Ion read the words of a newer book held open by his opposite hand. What he did notice was the way his fingers unintentionally tangled with another’s. The startling warmth they held caused the semi-reclusive male to squeak in surprise as he instinctively curled his fingers towards his palm and accidentally caught hold of the other male’s own. Bright teal eyes were wide as Ion’s head jerked to the side and his pale cheeks flushed with embarrassment.

“Oh my! I’m so sorry! I didn’t see you there.” Erion cried in a breathy tone expressing both his sudden scare and real apology but he was too surprised to actually let go. In one hand he was clutching the book to his chest, a self-preservation instinct kicking in to spare him the wrath of Laurel, while he took a moment to take in the sight of the stranger. It took him a moment to place him but the long violet hair triggered a memory of his early musings when he’d passed by the corporate run coffee shop across from his favorite coffee haunt. “You’re that man from the coffee shop.” Ion mused aloud as his eyes softened and a sweet smile tugged at his lips. “Imagine that. The only man who I thought had prettier and longer hair than me. Did Laurel set you up to this?”

The idea of Laurel trying to set him up wasn’t exactly unheard of but for her to pull in someone who probably went to school with her nephew, given the dyed purple locks weren’t uncommon at an art school, was a new one. Erion gave a soft laugh as he shook his head a little and slowly allowed his muscles to relax from their sudden fight or flight response to the scare. His grip on the book eased so he cradled it to his chest more than desperately clutching it in fear for both its safety and his own. The stranger was certainly handsome and the fact that Ion could look him in the eye made it all the more amusing. It wasn’t until he had a chance to meet the blue eyes of the other male that Erion realized he hadn’t released his hold on the other and quickly released the other male with a slightly more audible laugh.
“Sorry about that.” Erion said as his head tilted to the side ever so slightly and gave a half smile that somehow managed to make the six foot tall male look sweeter. Of course it was as he was apologizing that he plucked the book they had both been reaching for off the shelf and gave a dip of his head. “Let Laurel know that her joke was cute will ya?”

It was clear by Erion’s tone and the way that he didn’t really give the other man much of a chance to respond that he thought it was some sort of joke by the woman who thought he needed someone to brighten up his life. He agreed with her to a point but he didn’t mind a little teasing. He was actually taking the joke well if the mirth in his eyes was anything to judge by. Ion couldn’t quite bring himself to put on one of his usual brash or peppy personas inside the relative sanctity of Laurel’s book haven.

'Congratulations, you're soul mates.' The words cheerfully spoken by the clerk hit Tala like a freight train. To think this whole time he'd been destined for his best friend? Was that right? In all the years they'd known each other, never once did the thought cross his mind. The Romanian was at a loss for words, his peculiar colored eyes dropped their gaze from the other male and stared down at their feet. Awkward. As if to not disappoint, Tala took Matthius' hand a wobbly smile on his face. "Well this was fun." he laughed though it was somewhat hollow sounding compared to his usual rich tone. "Let's go I'm starved." Tugging at Matthius' hand, Tala lead them away from the spectators of the shop back out into the crisp night air. What would they do? It was all so confusing and awkward. The mechanic was thoroughly embarrassed on top of that since he'd shared so many details of his past relationships, all failures but nonetheless intimate. Awkward.

"So where shall we go?" Tala questioned his hand covering the now inactive timer. It supposedly would fall off within the next day or so all on its own, at least that's what the clerk had told them. How nice. "Matty?" he called feet shuffling nervously as well as from the cold. Being as excited and scatterbrained as he had, the mechanic had forgotten his jacket at home. Tala chewed on his lower lip as if to keep himself from saying anything he might regret. This idea had been stupid and it was all his fault. He only hoped that it wouldn't change them.

“Is that so? Leave it to him to drag someone from their workplace without so much as a care in the world. I really do think I spoiled you to much as a child.” She said sharply to Arch who instead of meeting eye contact gazed back at the suit. It was his suit of choice but, it was also the same as the 2009 collection as much as he loved the pattern he couldn’t wear this outdated suit. Also, the peanut gallery wasn’t helping. Ferris had joined forces with his mother to form the ’I hate Fashion’ dream team. It was amazing how many things were going wrong today. “Can it be fixed?” He inquired with the designer going back and forth. “Ignored. I happy at least someone besides myself can see how hideous this attire is. Ferris, you're not in a rush to return to work. If don't mind I would like you to join me and help me pick out this foolish child of mine some clothes to wear for fashion week.“ She happily proclaimed quickly grabbing Arch’s attention. She had some nerve complaining about him not listening she was no different. It was like the pot calling the kettle black at this point. Although, his mother wasn't quite as controlling as her fashion challenged son, she had been quite a difficult person to say no to when she was still working for Tranta in its rather early stages. Tranta at first consisted of about four or five stars and they weren't big names. Seymour wasn't one to give up as he worked his magic; he flattered and spoiled potential investors. He fought to get his stars in more bigger names. Then, he started diverging his talent and all the while Marionetta fought alongside him as a part-timer at first. It wasn't long before their hard headed determination bloomed into a full blown romantic encounter. They were married two years later; company rose to executive status around the same time. So, while her loving husband was busy with much larger problems she, handled negotiations and potential members of the ever growing Tranta empire. All that was the prelude to now and she would have it her way. No spawn of her being would take that.

“And when did you plan to include me in this conversation?” Marionetta quirked an eyebrow. “Last time I check I gave birth to you. Therefore, I am in now way shape or form required to ask you permission to do whatever I please to you, your wardrobe, and don't give me attitude especially, when I can't trust you to do it yourself!. The suits wrong, ugly, and god awfully expensive; so I'm letting it go for you.” She waved her hand and had the suit removed. “Fashion week has been my dream for the last year and since your father can’t join me he sent you to come along. You will not embarrass me.” It was easy to see where Arch had gotten his negotiability. His mother seemed more like she was declaring war on her own son’s fashion sense. The she softly smiled to him. “Now, there a nice outlet mall not to far from here. How about we take a short wall over there and see what they have to offer? I'm sure you'll find something we can both agree on." Is what she said but, Arch was smart enough to know what she was saying to him was, 'We're going to the outlet mall down the street. Shut up and follow. We'll find something for you to wear whether you like it or not.'
User Image
It wasn't like Arch was in the position to refuse her either. If he even uttered it would hear from his father later that evening. This was his mother's moment and if she didn't get what she wanted all hell would break loose, very much like himself. Except, Arch knew when it came to his mother he wouldn't have a chance at being right. "Yes, ma'am. I don't know why the two of you manage to find so much fault in my attire of choice." Arch grumbled as he made his way to the door and his mother followed behind happily. "It because the clothes you choose just ooze expensive as much as it makes you look....- What's the word?" She thought on it but, nothing came to mind. "It just doesn't sit well on you. Like your trying too hard. Casual everyone once and a while won't kill you." She felt bad having to criticize him but, Fashion week was just so important to her. "Ferris, have you eaten for the day. I know you music producers usually keep yourselves piled high in talent and work." Despite her appearance, Marionetta was a business woman and worked as her husband's secretary for some time before settling down to carry their unborn son. "Your laid back clothes were a give away. If you had been anyone else you'd be wearing some sort of suit or dress clothing." She explained. "There's a few cafes down this way." She carried on until her phone went off. "Eh? who could it be- Oh!" She answered it quickly. "Yes, Darling." She smiled and began some mild chat with Arch's father. "I'll be right there." She hung up. "Your father forgot some paperwork. I'm going to go take it to give me your keys." She held out her hand and Arch wasted no time passing the power onto her. His mother didn't drive she had her own personal driver. However, his mother liked to take walks for long periods of time so, he didn't get much use. "I won't be long. Ferris, please help him find a few decent things to wear even something casual. Here's my card, if you want a few thing feel free. It has a five thousand dollar limit. You two enjoy yourself. Put Billy away tonight; I plan on see what you get to day and he nearly gave me a heart attack last time." She gave her credit card or one of many to Ferris wasting no time making her way to Arch's baby and speeding off.

"I loathe you." Arch glared at the male. He knew he wouldn't be able to make it thru the evening without showing his mother the spoils of war. He wasn't an mama's boy but, Fashion week had put him on a really dangerous path to being seen as one. Not only but, now they were stranded together until his mother returned with the car. So, with no other options all he could do was go shopping with Ferris. To dressed by someone whose clothes were the the same price as his socks was just ridiculous. "Lead the way." Arch forced the words out with every fiber of his being.

[Didn't have time to do my final read over. So, if its a little iffy sorry. I will edit it when I get off tonight.]

How he had not seen it kind of shocked Lucifer into a trance. His fingers touched warmth and made his spine tingle and his hairs to crawl. The noise from the stranger rung in his head as his hand was clasped tightly and pulled towards the stranger. A pout formed on the male's lips as he looked down at the hand that was gripping his tightly. He heard the man splutter and apologizes, but his hand was still stuck in the grasp of the stranger. His free hand slowly made its way to his other hand as he pulled at the fingers and tried to figure out how to get out of the grasp. He felt the eyes of the stranger on him again and he practically jumped.

It was the same feeling as before. It was the same eyes. He had found his victim, oddly enough though his mouth water a little at the thought but he noticed that it was more than just that he was reacting to. Compared to his rough hands, the male's hands was smooth, a fair color and warm. His hand led to his arm where the clothing formed perfectly to the curves. He wasn't sure if the heat was reaching his face but there was something that made him curl his toes and feel a little giddy inside. His eyes jumped to the males face, but he wasn't able to make eye contact with Lucifer. His eyes looking at everything but his face. His pout deepened a little as the stranger kept on talking, sweat slowly building on Lucifer's trapped hand.

His lips parted slightly at the comment of his hair that his free hand know went to the sloppy bun of his hair a little ashamed. But he kept at it. "What...who?" The guy was in his own little world as he seemed to have a full conversation with himself. His eyebrows rose slightly as his free hand went back to trying to free his hand. Lucifer was growing irritated, all he wanted know was to get away and sulk about like a vampire hunting in the night. His lips tightened.

The laughs from the male made, the giddy feeling just fly away from him and the vibes of annoyance was now radiating off of him, but finally his hand was released. He flexed it and whipped all the sweat off on his jeans. His eyes looked back up at the male and there eyes meet. A light buzz ran through his head and an odd noise sounded at that moment. His hand reached for his phone, but it wasn't that. Slipping it back into his pocket his eyes looked back at the male. He kept on talking about some chick.

"Look buddy, I have no idea what your talking about." The odd noise repeated itself, Lucifer ignored it. "I just stumbled upon the place like a few minutes ago. I'm only here to enjoy myself." He slowly pushed his sleeves up again and couldn't help but cross his arms as he eyed the book they both wanted now in the male's arms. "So if you wouldn't mind.." He took a few steps back. Trying to make a little bit further apart, this time taking in the male that held his hand longer than he had wished. He was the complete opposite of the male. Clean, clear, bright, and neat. His winter white hair kind of glowed, it was an odd color and his eyes...That odd noise repeated itself again and Lucifer looked down.

His heart did flips, but this time it was his phone and not his timer. His heart sank a little but he sighed and pulled his phone out. "Um...I'll attempt to tell your 'Laurel' friend that whatever she apparently did...didn't work. But..." His voice cut off a little as a title caught his view and he pulled the book off the shelf. "Uh...you're going to have to tell me what this 'Laurel' friend looks like." A cocky smile spread across his lips, a crazed look filling his eyes, but his hand silently pushed the book back onto his shelf before his head tilted a little down and to the right.

"Wait...are you telling me this person has been trying to hook you up with people?" The cocky smile changing to a sly smile as he took a step forward. "You really haven't had a chance to play with anyone?" Here was a fresh, free male just waiting. Lucifer's eyes shined. "I might have to tell your friend here that it may have actually worked out, well at least.....on my side." His eyes darkened slightly. "There is no one else on this level and I did see a comfy couch in the corner near the spiritual section." His hand reached for the book that was clasped to the males chest. "Come on...don't be shy."

There is an excitement about having nightmares.

Mother night it was damn chilly out, the warmth of the sun already washed out by the arrival of evening. Still it was prime hours to try and get a bit of pocket cash. Schools, offices and various types of businesses all surrounded the park which served as a hub of travel between the lot. Here it was easy to entertain the parade of passing people. Tuli, being a former cirque performer, was damn good at attracting a crowd. Balancing acts and fire tricks never failed to earn him a decent chunk of cash. Other street performers however, were not so keen on his abilities. Probably had to do with him luring away their business. What could he say except tough luck. It wasn't his fault after all that the others lacked talent, right?

With the darken shade of night now over the city and a chill in the air it was the opportune time to really bring out his favorite routine. The fire displays were eye catching. The way the flames danced, illuminating the sky as Tulivarian masterfully manipulated it. From spinning orbs to hoops and whips, passersby, no matter their hurry always found a moment to gape. Not to mention leaving a bit of cash as they moved along. That evening had certainly been a fruitful one to begin, but with the waning hours so went the audience. Schools had long since been out, offices were relatively empty for the day and the shopping crowd had all but gone home. Hungry and bored, the Russian gathered his belongings, deciding to head to the cafe. He figured if Nolan was in a good enough mood, than he could mooch some food before heading home. Hell if it came down to it, Tuli would cook for his keep as he had done in the past. Despite all of their fuss he knew they all liked him, even if they did consider him a no good mooch.

The unemployed male had passed a peculiar set of characters on his way in to the cafe, they seemed to be dealing with an awkward situation. A lover's quarrel perhaps? It was none of his business so long as they stayed out of his way. He hadn't gotten three steps through the door before Nolan spotted him. "Let me guess, you're hungry?" the other male questioned an exasperated tone laced with a hint of amusement."If you know that, than why ask?" A wry smile pulled at the cafe owner's lips. "Did it piss you off? That's why." The Russian scowled at the man's teasing sticking his tongue out childishly in retaliation. "H'n a**." Nolan laughed and pushed him a plate of assorted food. Tuli gladly accepted it thrilled with the fact that he caught the owner in a generous mood as opposed to having to earn it. "Play nice Tuli." The green haired male snorted at the mention of his nickname, but regardless flashed a smile and with a two finger salute took his leave. The other workers on the clock rolled their eyes, not understanding why the owner was so tolerable of him. Well it was none of their damn business. Starting back across the street, Tulivarian found himself in the park once more, settling on the grass for his dinner. He wasn't quite ready to return home just yet.

"No need for apologies, it was I who made the scene. I understand full and well now after coming to a conclusion that was apparent from the start, why you behaved in such a manner. I will humbily invite you boy once more to my suite. Located not ten minutes from this very spot where we stand. I promise on all that I hold dear my only desire is to speak with you further, nothing more I assure you." Kaito Satori was a name that was so sweetly innocent as he murmered it, felt as if his mouth was full of honey. Absolutely adored the name and the one in a million smiles he gave showed how thrilled he was to now have the honor in knowing it. Waiting for a response yet again made Markus anxious, did not know how to take no fo an answer. If this boy took too long he may just need to drag him there. Could already picture binding the boy it was not out of the realm of possibilities since he was exremely impatient. Already had his belt which was literally a chain. Could drag the boy by that crop of hair , screaming would not be a problem, he had a hankerchef. Imaginining wrapping his arms around the boys frame while performing a provocative kiss he would then stuff a cloth into his mouth, turn the boy slightly to catch both hands then tie the thin chain into a knot he would have him in a helpless situation. If it got to that the alley was not far could take him a minute to get against the wall, leading him with threats the boy would go willingly, once they both got to the wall hed push the boy firmly against the stone wall stomach side facing it leaving his back exposed. Unzip those tight pants he had on while holding both of the boys chained hands above his head, gag in place while he dove deep inside, pounding, like a wave beating against a rock untill the boys pleas turned nothing into muffled moans.

Yet this was all only in his mind, none of it would come to past if he accepted the offer. Of course right now the boy had no reason to say no, he looked as if he had already fallen in love. Trusting Markus was never an issue for anyone untill he did something outrageous, like, once he let his conscious be thrown out the window, then things got a bit extreme. Time to time it occured but not as often as one would imagine.Truth be told though when Markus was about to loose it one normally would see signs beforehand. Right now there were a couple of signs the boy would not have knowledge about. For one thing he had the habbit of biting his lip, that was the first sign. A second sign was scratching his head though it did not itch, the third was murmering, the fourth was making hand gestures, the last sign was when he started to breathe heavily. Normally things started happening around the third sign, and hell, he was already to the first with just waiting.

Biting his lip right now wasnt good, he knew it too, with biting his lip he was still fully in control of himself which was good for this boy. If he got to the point of murmering while speaking, well, then he may need to drag the boy to a more secluded spot and take out his frustrations. That is what it was, when he went off the handle, he was extremely violent, their first time would be rough and quick, it would be nothing more then him getting pleasure of the boy so he could recollect his composure. Gulping now he lowered his head, gaze falling with it, no he did not wish to start the relationship that way. Could not help himself though, he always, always, got what he wanted, no matter the actions he had to take in order to them.

"So Monsuier, I beg of you, come with me" That voice he now used was entirely different, no longer musical, but it was coy, almost pleading. Yet he was not pleading to the boy, he was pleading for the boy, in order to save his innocence until another time he would need to do what Markus said, or else things would get rather how do you say, complicated... The sky overhead was dark and grey, almost as if it would rain. Such clouds were unexpected to this city which was normally lit up by the suns rays. Perfect weather though for what was about to happen. Fate had began turning their destinies now were intertwined. Both timers had gone off a week before Christmas on Dec 20th, it was a Friday evening when the lovely pair encountered one another. Belowing wind kept blowing Markuses hair everywhere, since he no longer had it tied back. His thoughts were not only on the boy but on this weather he wanted this boy to say yes to the offer so they both could get out of what looked like to be rain. He already felt the moisture in the air, smelled it, sensed it by the tingiling of the hair on his neck. Oh yes surely both would be safer inside.

Picturing this city covered in a blanket of white snow like last year for the holidays brought even more thoughts. So many thoughts bouncing off the walls in his mind he no longer knew what to say or do. Markus was always a performer, he knew how to act in any given situation, but when he became obsessed with his own thoughts he tended to grow quiet. In mid conversations he would be silent which would worry people, as well as it should, that meant Markus was not all there. Physically he was, but like the old saying goes, lights on but no one is home. That was how it had been for Markus his entire life. Yet dreadging up the past of his childhood was not something he wanted to do right this moment, there were much more pressing matters that needed to be dealt with. With one swift motion of his hand he moved his fingers from the strands of the boys hair to once more under his chin, now, focusing once more on him. Nothing else in this world interested him more right now then his soul mate whom was lovely enough to look at till the end of time itself.

Always a romantic he thought of things like that, which was why he was able to speak so eloquentlly which he had to say got him most of what he wanted. Sometimes yes he acted but normally all he would have to do in order to bed someone was promise them sweet nothings in their ears and they would melt, be puddy in his hands, anticipating eagerly to be molded by him. Would this action shock the boy as much as before, probably not, since he copied basically what occured in the cafe. Another kiss, though this time no one was around, so the boy did not need to feel nervous or have any scene to cause. Markus wanted to see if he would kiss back, now that he knew a little of his true feelings that he had kept under lock and key for so long. That his soul mate was no woman, but a man. One who introduced himself as Markus Lutheren, a man who offered the world on a silver platter, the boy only need to say yes...

Sure, it wasn’t like he had been expecting that work would be easy today but, how the hell was he to expect that a weeks worth of crap would explode like bad plumbing in one day. It had been such a great morning too. He got a free cup of coffee at Java King for being such a loyal patron and he wasn’t the first one in the office either. It was the best morning a CEO could have until those brats ruined it. Every senior member of Onsite sales team had a rookie they trained. This had served to be very efficient and allowed him to train more and more at once over a period of time. Sadly, two of his best Onsites had managed to get stuck with two of his unhopeful field rookies and today they for some reason got the insane ideal they could handle the contracts themselves. Along the way the two of them not only failed to let anyone know of their actions but, they had managed to switch up their paperwork and ordered the wrong items for each business. The wonderful thing about these two companies were that they were members of his top ten contract companies. Anything in the ten area were big name companies that if Henry lost even one he was going to kill someone.

Word reached his ear around eleven o’ clock when the two bumbling idiots reported to their senior who quickly realized the error. So along with having the company in an uproar calling the manufacturing companies for the items ordered and having to adjust and fix payments to the large orders. Henry was left with smoothing over the frustration of the site supervisors. With no time to go out himself he rallied together a few of his relief division that specialized in difficult customers and softening them up. With them visiting each site that had been effected in all this mishap he left his worthless senior rookie to handle the apologies to the project managers. He sucked at handling Onsite, In office, and relief but, he seemed to work great as a stress ball for the managers in rather extreme situations. Usually, after extensively expressing their unhappiness with the situation they felt refreshed and willing to listen to word and flattery.

It seemed as if everything was going to end without a hitch but, his luck had not been so kind. Soon after he received a call from Helena one of his hardest working employees complain that she couldn’t take much more of her negotiations with the Hillsmoon construction site. At first he had been worried that maybe it was her clothes but, she had made a big effort in dressing more conservative. So, with no other options he sent Sam to go help her handle the project details. Crisis Adverted, No. Not only did he get another call but, it was from the manager saying that not only had their been a fight but, along with Sam, a few of his workers had been arrested. Your kidding. Was the only thought going threw his head as he finished off his sixth cup of coffee and his tenth cigarette. It seemed that the reason behind it was the harassment of Helena and he was very well aware that the company and Hillsmoon relations were already strained in a bad way so, this wasn’t going to end well at all.

This incident carried well into the evening between conversing with supervisors, previous supply companies, the manager, and his manager; it was determined that Helena would not press legal actions and those responsible would be punished appropriately along with a formal apology. Hillsmoon would speak of their willingness to continue business at another date. Sam was released around five that evening and everything finally seemed to slow down except for the fact that he had not only managed to do nothing today but, he still had quite a large amount of paperwork that needed to be handled. Exhausted and near the point of starvation he quickly worked through the paperwork snacking on chips and cookies his employees left him with at the end of their days.

                                                                            -7:00pm; The Park-

Henry dragged his withered body thru the park on his way home. So much had happened that small black bags had appeared under his eyes. He had washed the taste of cigarettes and coffee out of his mouth in the bathroom. As well as, changing from his suit into a black construction coverall and having his suit picked up for dry cleaning. No longer able to push himself any further he set down on a bench falling asleep at least until something started chiming. Henry’s eyes snapped open as he pulled out his phone. “Hello?….Hello? Ah.” Henry looked to his phone. No one had called; he searched until he found the source. It was his timer. His father had forced this device on him a few months ago and though he had been worried the thing had never done much and he eventually forgot about it. “Ah.” He looked up to a male sitting on the ground eating… grass? Henry wasn’t all to sure, his eyes were still adjusting from his half asleepness. “You.” Henry got from the seat. “I need you. Ah.” Henry shook his head and fixed his glasses. His eyes finally fully awake. “I need to speak with you.”

THE PUNK || PERSONAL SHOPPER // FERRIS WELDON

It was amusing to watch mother and child interact. Even if the child was getting fussy over a suit. "I'm pretty sure everyone can see how hideous it is except for him." Ferris replied, not taking his eyes of the male who kept his own transfixed on the clothing in question. Both of their attention seemed to shift all at once, however, when Marionetta invited the blond to help shop for her son. "Uh... I don't," Ferris hesitated. Arch chimed in more strongly, against the idea. But in the end it was pretty obvious that Marionetta would get her way. The brunette hadn't stood a chance, and Ferris couldn't help but feel a bit sorry for him. Not that it showed. He was currently pressing his lips into a thin line while trying not to laugh.

"Ferris, have you eaten for the day. I know you music producers usually keep yourselves piled high in talent and work." Dark green eyes settled on the woman, surprised again. Until she broke down her diagnosis not unlike a modern day Sherlock would. Never before had he felt so predictable. But he was kind of hungry. All he had today was a granola bar for breakfast and a blueberry yogurt with the name of his secretary on it for lunch. "A cafe sounds nice." He sighed, resisting the urge to rub his belly. If he paid any more attention to it, he was sure it'd growl. 'I wonder if there's a way I can convince her that food should come first.' He plotted, trying to figure out away to eat and then duck out before the shopping started. Probably have Launa call him with an 'emergency' or something. As much as he enjoyed watching the Tranta prince getting tortured by the woman who brought him into this world, it would feel kind of odd to tag along all day. Ferris shuddered at the thought. It would be too much like his childhood days when he had to be around the normal, healthy families of his friends. He wouldn't be able to keep from comparing his dysfunctional family to this one, and feeling life somehow stiffed him again.

It was by some act of mercy that lead to Marionetta receiving a call and having to run off. Still, she made escaping impossible by taking her sons car and promising to check up on their work later. "I loathe you." First words the male directed to him since they got out of the car earlier. "I love your mom." He replied. "The power she has over you, it's like you're her puppet or something. And I love watching you dance for her." Ferris began walking when instructed to lead. He was more than happy to get moving. While 'The Hidden' was a pretty bad a** name, there wasn't much to look at. Fancy people and their clothing stores.

He had got them out the door, and began walking toward that outlet mall Mrs Trantamorious was talking about. "Day two of crossing paths, and I already get to dress you up." Ferris began after a few minutes of silence. He did work at a studio, after all. He had grown accustomed to sound and couldn't deal with silence too long. "Look at us. I'm meeting future in-laws, and taking sides against you. We're like a regular old couple huh?" He was only getting started with the couple jokes, however glancing over at his forced companions face made him drop them completely. "You're such a sourpuss. We're stuck together, lighten up." The blond grumbled, running his fingers through his hair. "Jeez. It wasn't even that bad. Your mom only wants you to look your best. She seems like a pretty cool person, so try not to be so annoyed." A lecture from the person probably causing all the annoyance. "I don't get how someone in your cushy position could be such a killjoy. I'd gladly swap places with you." And just like that, it was back to the original argument of rich boy problems against those of a poverty child. Who could have saw that coming?

He had to give Nolan credit, the man could cook. Sprawled out on the grass, Tulivarian picked at the assortment of food while staring up at the night sky. There weren't many stars visible being in the city and all the light pollution washed them out. How he missed the countryside traveling with the troupe visiting a different city each week. Damn being left behind in America. While zoning out, he hadn't noticed the sleeping man on the bench. He tended to ignore vagrant looking types as they weren't much good for anything. However it was nigh impossible to dismiss the god awful chirping that seemingly erupted from nowhere. "Ада огонь..* " Tuli growled so startled by the noise he'd spoken in his mother language. Worst yet than that was the discovery that his meal had been crashed. A tiny line uniform line of ants scurried to and away from the plate taking bits of the Russian's dinner along with them. "Heathens, that food is too good for you." He glared at the minuscule insects forgetting all about the noise which disturbed him in the first place. Dumping the remainder of the food he let the ants have their feast it was too late to save the rest anyways. At least however he'd gotten his fill.

Tulivarian stood with a stretch, gearing up to turn in for the night and completely oblivious to the fact that his timer had been set off. “I need you. Ah.” those dazedly murmured words somehow managed to capture the his attention. Finally glancing behind, the performer set his emerald gaze on to the strange man who'd called to him. He certainly was someone worth taking a second glance at, deep purple hair framed a sharp face and brilliant ruby eyes. Alluring in a way, but the performer had quite enough of entertaining for the night."Tough luck, I don't do that sort of thing." Tulivarian stated bending down to gather his belongings. He paid no mind to the other slinging the hoops across his chest and picking up the duffle bag of cirque equipment Tulivarian began leave. "Good luck with whatever." he said in departing taking a last lingering look at the stranger.
