Kittys☽ Myung-Dae Moon ☾

A Trembling Heart

                                      외치다 아프 심장
                                      사랑을 구걸

Myung-Dae looked back at Lorcan for a moment before moving and tossing back that last gulp of liquor. His phone chimed again almost as if sounding the end of everything okay in his life. Fixing his shirt properly and trying to keep his hair straight enough to not look like a cheap whore Dae took a slow breath. "Enjoy your meeting. He has company with him so I don't know if they'll be in here." Myung-Dae did his best to leave before Josh could arrive. Which... resulted in him nearly getting smacked with the door and sized up by a very pissed off Joshua. He closed his eyes at the feeling of lukewarm flesh as the other tilted his head to get a better look at his neck. Shoving his hands away before Joshua could speak he shoved past him. "I'm going home."

He could hear something from Joshua about not driving since he'd been drinking. He couldn't... stay. Myung-Dae shoved past Damian who tried to grab his arm and yanked his jacket up from the booth they had. Picking up Damian's pack of smokes and lighter he walked out. He stole his friends import cigarettes and simply bailed. His brain was fuzzy and he almost dropped his keys twice as he walked out to the parking lot. Visions of pavement and sky blurred like an abstract painting. Wiping at his face the Korean college student breathed slowly leaning against the car. Closing his eyes for a moment longer he breathed out with shaking hands as he placed a smoke between his lips and lit it. The drive to school wasn't that far. Maybe about six blocks. Or ten. He couldn't remember right now. Rubbing at his face Dae unlocked the car and slid into the drivers seat.

The drive was slow. Careful. Delicate. Even so he'd nearly run into a street sign a time or two. Pulling into a parking place at the college he realized... he hadn't went home. He'd just come to school. Stupid... Resting his head against the steering wheel as the smoke in his hand slowly burned he tried to relax himself enough to actually drive home. Looking up at the school he realized something. He'd... not gone. Reaching over for his phone that he'd thrown on the passenger seat between leaving the club and arriving here he looked at his calender. He'd silenced his notification about class that he'd left on his calendar. He'd just slept through it and went out with Damian like an idiot. Smacking his steering wheel the teen gave a frustrated curse. Well he was already here. There wasn't much he could do about his tousled post-romp hairstyle.

Slamming his car door shut as he got out he crushed his cigarette under his shoe and straightened his jacket. Pulling it up enough to try to cover the myriad of marks he'd received on the end of stupidity. He silenced his phone knowing that the moment Joshua was finished with his meeting he'd be blowing it up 'worried like ********' about the little mistake that was Myung-Dae. Mistake didn't even feel like the right word for that. Where the hell had he put his morals? Sleeping with some random person, skipping school, drinking underage, and probably worst of all... driving while under the influence. He was probably lucky that he hadn't gotten pulled over. Rubbing his face one last time in a hope he'd look a little less distressed and upset he pulled open the door to one of the rooms. One coinciding with the class he'd missed. The teacher was still there. That was good.

"Mr. Jackson. I... missed the class. I'm so sorry. I... I actually don't have an excuse. I overslept and completely forgot I had class today. I know it's not my place, but please... I really need the credits for this class. I can't let my GPA drop. I'll lose my scholarshi-" Chirp. Chirp. Chirp. Myung-Dae stood five feet from the others desk. His heart... stopped. Beyond his probably slightly irregular speech patterns this happened. This. Right now. Right here. Right... No. This was not how this worked. He stared down at his timed out timer and breathed... slow. His mind going to what he'd just done. His state of dress and appearance. He... wasn't worthy of anyone. Even someone as strange as this teacher. This wasn't going to work. He couldn't talk to him right now. Not with this going off and his brain firing off every self doubt he could possibly spare a thought of. Taking a step back he nodded slowly and then simply turned. "I'll... just come talk to you later. I... can't..."

Couldn't stand very well either. He tripped two steps into turning around. The slender Korean student stood. Shoulders trembling as he waited for the moment to pass. Waited for his heart to stop hurting and his pride to crawl into a rabbit hole and rot. Breathing out slowly Myung-Dae started walking towards the door. His eyes dropping to his timer as he watched it do nothing. No more counting down. He... was destined for a person that was probably not obtainable nor did he feel worthy to even suggest his own partnership to them at this point. A teacher and a student. It was... inappropriate. As his phone chirped he gave a small start and reached for his phone knocking the cigarettes and car keys out of his pocket. Myung-Dae would have been lying if he said he hadn't almost lost his balance reaching for both. Shoving them into his pocket he tried to turn off his phone. He couldn't take anymore surprises right now. This was already more than enough to ruin his day. It would have also helped if he wasn't trying to push a pull door... Standing in front of the door Dae sighed and leaned forward resting his forehead on the door. Too much... That's what this was. Too... damn... much.

Odd had taken almost a slight nap before the music starting a new song woke him, he ran his fingers through his hair before his leg started to ache as he pulled a bottle from his pocket and took one more pill. s**t, he had already taken what.. four maybe five. It was probably best he just go home and call it day, besides the students could get their scores in the morning when he posted the result. He grabbed his coat and slid his arms into the sleeves as another rather muffed up student walked into the class room, his speech was fast and the framing of words was less than perfect but still. Odd looked at the other as he stopped mid-sentence and a weird chirping noise started. At first he just considered it to be a phone but as the kid looked at his timer the reality finally came to him. As he brought his own wrist up to look at the device that hadn't a single digit left to count down to, he knew this would happen but with a student?! This just couldn't be real, him with someone half his age.

What kind of god would do something like this, if he'd even engaged in this relationship he'd be like his father. But he for sure ********, was not his father. He remembered the kid in front of him as he heard the other speak about talking later and saw almost the look of pure defeat on the kid's face before he scrambled to leave. Odd got up as the kid went for the door almost tripping and also dropping both his keys and a pack of cigarettes as he made to the exit door only to be stalled. Odd knew he should have notified the campus security but as he looked at the kid when his head went to rest on the door he felt almost a bit of guilt that his timer had went off like that. Plus, he couldn't just let this kid drive off when he could barely manage to leave a building all because the door said pull instead of push It would just look wrong if allowed the kid to pass out with out someone to make sure he woke up. He gave a slow exhale before walking up to the kid, he forced one of the kids' arm over his own neck. "Don't fight me or I'll notify campus security about your current situation. You can't walk so I'm not trusting you behind the wheel of a car when you can't even pull a door open." His hand went to kids' pocket as he found the keys before starting to press the unlock button in order to find the car.

Once he had found the car, he tucked Myung-Dae into the passenger side as he in turn went to sit at the driver side. Normally, when someone is faced with something they absolutely hate.. it doesn't end well, still Odd had driven his own brother home in a situation like this. It wasn't that he really hated cars, okay that was lying.. He ******** hated cars but he couldn't just expect the kid to be able to actually hold onto him while he road his bike. The kid probably barely wanted to see him after the stupid timer mess up. It was probably just a glitch and once the kid was sober he'd drive them to get it fixed. Odd did his best to push the thought as he turned toward the kid, "Are you okay kid? I can smell the alcohol on you. If you did any drugs please tell me, I won't report you but I will keep you alive once you tell me your home address." He figured once he got the kid home then if he had roommates he could instruct those people how to take care of their drunken friend, however it didn't really matter much. This student was his to take care of since he noticed the students state of behavior first.

Odd could already tell this student hadn't turned in a test for the day because he didn't remember seeing his name on any of the tests he had gotten when he did check offs. Plus, the thing the kid just said about losing a scholarship.. So, he was pretty certain that this kid was the male student that had missed the test. He went to shake him as he asked again, "Kid, where's your address?" At no reply, he pulled over to check the student database to find the address on his record before driving to that location. Pulling into the drive way, he stopped as he searched for a key before shoving the boy's shoulder, "Don't pass out yet, you got yourself in this state then you can man up and walk in this state." He said, still not allowing his thinking to processing that both their timers had gone off in his classroom. He only cared about the kid waking up and being safe, he could remember the whole timer thing later.

Odd got out of the car as he went to the passenger side and helped the kid go to stand before draping his arm over his shoulder once more. Searching the keys as he walked up to the house it only took two tries before the door finally opened, thankfully. He was so not about to break a window and climb in if the keys haven't worked. Now that he was inside, he set the keys on the first counter he passed. A rather large dog coming towards him as he tried his best to continue his path. "Back down Fido I'm just getting your owner sober.." He said, finally being able to walk the rest of the way inside and then based off of hospital drama shows he had seen every now and again, he remembered something about cold water being what shocks people out of some drug influencing and sometimes drunken-ness. He hadn't really expected the kid to have so many pets, having to watch his steps as three small fluff balls started to attack the ends of his jeans. He placed the kid the bath, with his clothes on mind you, then started the cold water on a shower setting as he went off towards the living room. He looked back to see the large dog going into the room Odd had placed Mae in, he just hoped the dog didn't climb into the tub with the kid cause then he'd probably have dry the dog once Mae woke up. It probably would take a few for the kid to shake off his state with how cold of water was running on him. Still, He made himself at home as he flipped on the tv after finding the remote before channel surfing. Man, this kid had more channels than him. What kind of parents did this kid have? One of the fur balls came up onto the couch with in as it ran off from the other two, he pet it's head before finding a show.

Odd pushed the thought before remembering the timer and going to find his phone as he started to look up glitches that have happened before, maybe there was just an update they needed on theirs or something. He sighed as the search came up empty before he got up and used the male's kitchen to make coffee. Once again, almost tripping over the playful furr-balls that were battling across the floor. It's probably the last thing the kid would want but at least it would make the headache the kid would probably have go away. Odd took the mug into the bathroom as he lower the toilet seat before he sat down and set the mug on the sink counter as he leaned over to shake the kid slightly after he got the dog to give him room to reach the kid. The faster the kid woke up, the faster Odd could actually leave this zoo the kid seemed to live in. "Snap out of it, if you don't want to fail this class then it'd be best if you would actually mature your behaviors just a bit don't you think?" Sure, he probably was being a bit of a jerk to the kid but just like his brother if he was dumb enough to drink that much then he should be able to take care of himself in that state. A different colored kitten came into the room as it climbed his pants and sat on his lap in an almost king like way while the other two kittens decided to sit at Odd's feet. Odd rolled his eyes as he went to rub his temple, how could he be getting a headache? He had enough pain pills in him to put down a small child for a couple of days and yet, he had a headache after all of this. How lovely. Odd placed a hand to keep the kitten from falling off as he reached over to shake the kid one last time as he started to grow annoyed but still didn't leave just yet. "You can make up the test. You won't fail so long as you pass with above a seventy." He said, lowering his rather crude insults on the kid as he remembered the look the male had the class room. He wasn't that much of a jerk to make matters worst then kid probably already felt bad.

From the tone in Hunter's voice, Gaerik knew he'd just made his day. As always. Hell he could practically feel the smile that spread across his lips through the damn phone. Ah the joy of spending other people's money they both knew the feeling. Not surprisingly, the gambler was all for the plan obviously eager to enjoy the day on another person's bill. He snorted a laugh wearing his own devilish smirk at the all too familiar pet name he'd be dubbed with. By all standards the Spaniard was the other's sugar daddy. He paid for everything, spoiled the hell out of the brat and didn't expect anything in return. "Don't keep me waiting chullito." he teased in return tucking his cell back into his pocket. To their usual spot it was then, the always nostalgic, still damn popular arcade. The place was none too subtly in the downtown city center its brightly lit entrance was a beacon to all fans of the institution. While it was an old establishment the arcade couldn't have been more lively. There was just an array of gaming systems from retro to the newest systems on the market. Pretty much anything you can think of it was crammed some where in that black light lit playground. The arcade had become their usual spot after Hunter had been banned from the casino for a year. Not that that had stopped them from going there too, however the arcade was naturally a more friendly environment. Though it wasn't designed for they're kind of fun, the two of them had made the most of a less than favorable situation. Whether it be betting against each other or hustling some cheeky punks they still managed to get their thrills.

Would they be putting their money on this stupid s**t today? Probably not. Well maybe just a game or two for old time sake. Gaerik had the feeling for something much richer, the ponies were always hot. That or they could try the casino, get blasted and eventually kicked out which was always a fun option in the moment. Of course being the good sugar daddy that the Spaniard would leave it up to Hunter to choose what they would do. Whenever the spoiled little b*****d got there. It hadn't taken the criminal time at all to get to their usual spot being that he was already out on the streets. Being that he hadn't heard from the other man in what seemed like ages, he couldn't tell how long he'd be this time. The brat could learn a thing or two from him about negotiating with people like that damn loan shark Lorcan, the Irish p***k. Then maybe he wouldn't have to be on the run all the time or this whole lying low bullshit. It didn't take much to sway them in your favor, just the smallest bit forward and some charm. And oh how Gaerik could turn on the charm to get his way and well having diplomatic immunity from time to time helped.

                    To: Chullito
                    From: Papi

                    Oy I'm here.
                    Where you at?

The Spaniard shot the other a text while idly occupying the seat of a racing game the two of them had gambled on numerous times before. Patience. He would show, Hunter always did when it came to a free day on him. If the day ever came that his chullito didn't show, that would be the day he'd returned home and be the upstanding son his father had always wanted. Yeah right. The odds of that happening couldn't be more stacked in his favor. Comforted by the certainty of their ritual, Gaerik set his glassy blue eyes on the street, kicked up his feet onto the fake steering wheel and waited.

Joshua was texting someone when Tala finally arrived on the scene. "Yeah... That's nice." He was distracted. Openly distracted. Openly worried. The hacker started walking towards the office. Long almost frantic strides. Myung-Dae was his innocent. He looked out for him in exchange for the kid doing s**t for him that most of his normal friends couldn't get done. They didn't lack man power. They were just suspects often enough that they couldn't handle a handoff anymore. The hacker wrenched open the office door hard. He'd almost hit Myung-Dae as far as he could tell from the slight look of shock on the others face. Joshua's gaze wasn't really focused on Dae's face. It was more interested in the marks all up and down the little hellcats neck. Wrenching Myung-Dae's head to the side he stared down at the marks.

He could smell alcohol on the other and for some reason his eyes... weren't all there. As Myung-Dae shoved his hands away and slurred out an excuse to him his heart almost stopped. "Dae. Don't ******** drive... Myung-Dae! Don't you ******** get in that car if you've been drinking. I'll take you home when I'm done. DAE!" The other wasn't listening. And neither was his body. Joshua punched his office door hard enough for the wood to crack loudly as it threatened to split. Blood dripping from his knuckles as he stood there. Wiping his hand over his face he held it there covering his mouth as he tried to think. ********. ********. ********. ********. Leaning out into the hallway he shouted at one of his security members. "Make sure he doesn't drive off. He's been drinking. You ******** hear me?"

"... Always a pleasure to do buisness with you it seems." Joshua tilted his head back and looked over his shoulder at Lorcan. He turned as he removed the small metal box from his pocket. Throwing it on the table he walked over to his desk chair. He sat down. Sat down and pulled out a box from his desk. Unlocking it the hacker was silent as he loaded the magazine into the black Beretta M9. Yet another present from that ex-lover of his. Military issue weaponry. How often did he really come down with these things. "The instructions to the chip are in box. I'm sure your vet can figure out how to turn on the chip. Wouldn't want your dog running off now would you."

Flicking on the safety he tucked the gun into the line of his pants under the back of his suit jacket. Out of view. Out of mind. He'd rather keep something on him in this hell hole than walk around unarmed with a bunch of shithead junkies clawing each other and possibly him. "Anyways... We haven't had a minute to talk for a while Lorcan. How are you..." He threw the empty gun box in his desk a little harder than necessary. His anger was just below the surface. s**t was falling apart. His outside contact was becoming an 'inside' contact too fast. Soon enough he'd have to give Dae a different job and hope to ******** that it worked out. "Or the better question... How'd you like ******** a kid in my office?"

Kittys☽ Myung-Dae Moon ☾

A Trembling Heart

                                      외치다 아프 심장
                                      사랑을 구걸

Myung-Dae really hadn't found it in himself to speak. He couldn't find words. Between the dismay of his situation and the incoherent mannerisms of the lingering alcohol in his systems he was stuck in his own little world until he'd eventually fallen half asleep. The lithe creature was sitting in the tub under the cold spray slowly coming to the awareness that he was home. He gave a low grunt as a furry head shoved itself under the spray of the water long enough to get dog drool up his nose. "Titus... no." He mumbled as he shivered and shoved at the beast of a dog. Gentle giant barely covered that cotton ball of a wimps personality. Myung-Dae could smell the clean scent of incense and oriental cooking spices. His body trembled as he started to move. Groping at the knobs as he clumsily turned the shower off. He sat there in soaked clothes for a moment longer before crawling out of the tub. His movements were slightly better. He was aware of the cold of his clothing as he stripped out of his shirt and dropped it into the tub. His pants and shoes wet next. It wasn't until he noticed the shoes that he realized someone had brought him home.

Teacher... His eyes settling on the man sitting with one of his kittens on the closed toilet. He blinked slowly as he finally realized he was rather nude. "... You don't... wear shoes inside." There wasn't any other words he could get out. The others face looked strange honestly. Colors looked strange. Taking two steps over to the counter he reached out to the mirror to press his fingertips against it. Shaking his head the intoxicated teen moved out into the hallway with that cotton ball of a dog hot on his heels. Myung-Dae managed to dress himself. Sort of. A set of boxer briefs that ended at the top of his thighs and sat low on his hips, despite their lovely powder pink coloring, was not considered normal clothing. He did pull on a deep purple sweater though. Three sizes too big as it hung off of one shoulder. His body felt too warm and too cold at the same time. It was enough to make him feel dizzy. Damian... gave him something besides beer and shots didn't he. In his drink or something he ate?

His condo was clean. Almost too clean really. Aside from the one or two pet hairs that could get on a person it didn't smell of animals at all. Stumbling back to the bathroom. Myung-Dae got down on his knees in front of the tub and leaned over the side. Breathing slowly for a moment he dragged the rest of his clothes and shoes into the tub. His towel slowly pulled off of the towel rod. Laying it over the wet spot on the flooring he leaned against the tub. Colors looked strange. Distorted and brighter and his skin felt strange. Not as strange as earlier, but he could still tell. Food. Breathing slowly he tried to settle his dizzy head long enough to get up and stumble to the kitchen where he'd quickly be attacked for pet food. Normal. That was normal. Bowls were filled and Dae didn't bother with himself. He simply laid down on the kitchen floor watching the room spinning just slightly.

Titus crawled up next to him the moment that dog bowl was licked clean. Myung-Dae's fingers tangled into that soft fur as he turned over to bury his face against the fluffy beast. "'s spinning. Damian gave me... that thing they were taking didn't he." He could hear that tail thumping and smell fresh coffee. It smelled good. He wanted some. Rolling over onto his back he looked over onto the counter and tried to will coffee into a cup and even better into his hand. Closing his eyes he almost drifted off to sleep. The alcohol was making him feel sluggish and he was just faintly aware of the person in his house as two little kittens came running to attack his feet. Moving his legs slightly he frowned openly. "No..."

He couldn't... stay awake. Once he'd managed to curl into a ball with a pair of kittens against his stomach the lithe little Korean started to pass out again. It was probably a mixture of left over stress and alcohol. Along with whatever Damian gave him that seemed to thankfully be almost completely worn off now. Nevertheless he was beyond exhausted. He'd sleep half dressed on the kitchen floor if he wanted. It wasn't as if his house was filthy. This place was cleaned daily and he was near obsessive about it in a way. His chest rising and falling as he quietly lay in a half asleep ball of worn out emotions and drunkenness. His head felt foggy... Alcohol was good for that it seemed.

Odd didn't quite move as the went to mess with the handles that had turned on the water. He heard the name of what he guessed was the dog's before he went to set the small kitten down on the floor before going to stand to give the kid more room as he got out of the tub before starting to undress. 'Wait, why.. Turn your head.' He looked off before it sounded like the kid was speaking once again only, it seemed like the kid was directing the words to him. Odd would have spoken however, the kid went on to touch his fingers to the mirror. What was going on in that kid's mind? He wasn't sure what to do next but as Myung-Dae went off as did Odd, walking over to the front door as he slipped off his shoes. He had never really heard nor seen a kid so up tight about rules even when he was so far from reality that he guess the kid couldn't understand the previous events of the day. He followed the other, unsure what to say or even how to help him at the moment as he watched the kid return to the bathroom before stumbling into the kitchen. He watched him feed his own animals before going to actually lay down on the kitchen floor. Odd walked into the bathroom to fetch the cup of coffee he had made earlier before taking a sip from the cooled down liquid. He went into the kitchen next as he watched Myung-Dae go to tangle his fingers in the dog massive fur before speaking about spinning and something about a Damian giving him something.

Drugs. It just had to be what was making the kid act to weird. Odd went to pour another cup before kneeling and holding it out to the kid as he told the on coming kittens no to attacking his feet. "Kid.. Hey, drink this." He said, holding out the cup as he waited for the kid to take it. When there was no moment, he stood back up and set the cup on the counter before going to actually lift the kid and carry him to the couch before tossing the blanket over him. It was already weird enough that the kid had undressed in front of him but he wasn't about to caught with the kid in only a sweater and pink boxers. He went to fetch the cup of coffee as he sat it on the night stand near the couch in case the kid decided to drink it. Odd knew it was pretty pointless to leave at this point, if Myung-Dae was commenting about the room spinning then it had to mean he was on uppers and not a downer. He ran his fingers through his hair as he tried to think what to do, it would be easier if the kid could stay awake long enough for him to get the other male to eat and then drink a couples cups of coffee. If the kid could do that then it would be easy enough for Odd to know he was well and could leave.

Of course, things never go as planned. He took his cell phone from his pocket as he checked the time before sending a text to his brother about being late to his whole speech about getting a timer. Odd knew it was the worst thing he could do but he couldn't just stand there with his fingers on the male's throat to make sure he was breathing so instead he went to sit down against the couch before taking on of the male's wrists. At least the channel he was waking was good enough to keep him entertained as he checked the male's pulse through his wrist every so often. When the kid finally seemed to be steady and his heart rate going at a regular place he figured if he was going to take care of the kid then the kid could feed him. Odd made his way to the fridge as he looked over the food choices before finding something that looked decent enough. He took his meal with him as he sat back down in the same spot, getting pushed by this Titus that wanted a closer seat to Myung-Dae.

Odd petted the pup until he went to laid down on the couch at the end by the kid's feet while the kittens soon too followed, only one went to lay on Myung-Dae while another laid the near the dog and the last laid near Myung-Dae's arm that drapped over the couch. It would attack Odd's hand every time he went to check the kid's pulse, it was cute to say the least but still.. Odd really didn't expect his evening to end like this. Once his meal was finished he went to put the dish into the sink before washing it and then replacing it where he had found it. He poured another glass before sitting back down, the one kitten kept following before returning to it's spot by Myung-Dae's arm. Odd checked Dae's pulse once again before returning to the movie that was on the tv. He would stay till the end and if Dae's pulse was still the same then that had to mean he would be fine. Odd played with the same kitten that rested by Dae's arm as it climbed onto his shoulders and tried a couple times to sit it's head in the coffee cup before the small fur-ball finally went to sleep beside it's master.

The soft sound of the television filtering into the room brought Myung-Dae to awareness. That and the disgusting scent of dog breath. He really needed to brush that beast of a dogs teeth. His head was pounding. Mouth dry and body sluggish as he sat up. Blinking at the person on the end of his couch he looked down at his timer. That was right... They'd... gone off. Shaking his head he carefully and quietly removed himself from the couch untangling kittens and such as he made his way to the bathroom to take a shower and clean up the wet clothes that were dumped into the wash with the rest of his dirty clothes. After starting a load of laundry he'd changed. A pair of black skinny jeans and a frost green tank top decorating his body as he touched the hickeys and marks along his neck and shoulders.

He regretted it. Openly so from the look on his face. The teen shook his head and went about feeding his animals and starting a meal along with more coffee after taking some aspirin. In a moment of distraction Myung-Dae had almost burnt his cooking chopsticks. Honestly his place was an annoyance for most since he didn't keep forks and such around. And if he did they were hidden because they were brutish to him. The entire house soon smelled like cooking meats and soups. The soft sound of Dae chopping fresh vegetables could be heard. He always did cook too much. Enough for a small family. He gave most of his food away to his friends who seemed to like traditional Korean cooking. He couldn't help it. It made him feel good cooking food from back home.

It didn't take too long for him to cover the table in dishes both hot and cold. Fish, meats, rice, and vegetables. After a few moments he sighed and walked into the living room touching his teachers shoulder. "I made food... You should come eat with me. Think of it as a thank you. I'm sorry I caused you so much trouble." That was all he could think to say. The lithe creature turned his unnatural blue eyes away. Eyes that bothered his family. Because he wasn't pure enough. Somewhere along his lines they'd mixed with someone that wasn't Korean and his grandparents hated that. He walked back into the kitchen to lay out chopsticks for himself and his guest. There really wasn't much he could do at this point. The other probably thought poorly of him.

It wasn't as if he could get rid of what had happened. He leaned against the door frame between the kitchen and the living room. "I'm... sorry. I know I probably caused you trouble. And this whole timer thing. Don't worry about it. We can just pretend it never happened. I don't think I'm your type anyways. So... Let's just have a meal together and you can leave and never talk to me again." His fingers playing along the bruising marks covering his neck. Bites and hickeys. Scratches on his shoulder and chest. It almost hurt, And yet he was too deep in his own shame for it to truly be anything akin to pain. Myung-Dae didn't even look at Odd. He kept his eyes down in an openly submissive gesture and moved back to the table to sit down and wait for the other to join him.

Dedicated Loiterer

A rueful smirk pulled across Marco's lips hearing the blatant annoyance in his brother's voice. At least he wasn't the only one now to have his patience tried. The thought helped smooth some of the edges of his temper. He had to admit though, Deva could certainly pull off the odd attire with the personality to match. Then again it was Deva so he really couldn't be all that surprised. Rolling those rosy brown eyes at the other's antics, the elder brother was all to set to leave and be done with this day of hell. Except Nutty had to throw a wrench into that with an all to valid point and there was nothing He could say otherwise to counter it. "Fine. Seems I haven't another choice." Marco gritted his teeth none to pleased with the idea of leaving his personal belongings behind for some ridiculous costume. That and the little p***k still had his keys which not only were for his car but his home as well. No choice then. He would have to comply with the younger brother's demand this time.

Yet there was only so much that seemed like it would fit him, being as tall as he was not to mention damn picky. He preferred the term discerning and wasn't about to put on any old thing after all he took pride in his appearance. Quickly leafing through what was available, he saw nothing. Not that he was trying very hard. Of course Marco wasn't about to get off so easily as the bubbly booth host intervened. 'Can I help you with anything? Oh wow your hair is so long! Oh I know! This would look great or maybe this, you just have to try this!' the girl gushed practically a mile a minute not leaving the publisher any chance to object as she piled on several costumes into his arms and shoved him into the changing room. There were a couple questionable outfits, some a bit too feminine for his taste which had him eliminating half the options the attendee had chosen. The girl was twisted if she believed he'd be caught dead in some lace trimmed getup that was more than likely intended for a woman. Sure he had long hair but that in no way implied he did any sort of cross dressing. Nevertheless Marco looked to the first wearable set being of an Arabian flair probably a Jinn costume of some sort. Trying it on the dark baggy pants fit a little low on his hips paired with the matching crop top exposed a generous amount of his torso. It was a lot of skin to show, a bit too much but strangely a fitting look for him. Then again his mother's genes might have something to do with that. The publisher liked it in a way but he wasn't about to parade himself half naked to half the city. Besides he'd still be too recognizable.

Moving onto his next choice he was much more pleased with the out come. It was an impressively complete Shinsengumi costume with the traditional haori, hakama and signature blue kimono with white diamonds. Marco managed to secure all the pieces together appropriately with some extra help from the enthusiastic booth owner, who added some extra little touches. Obviously this was more than a simple hobby to her. The costume wasn't complete with out a sword, naturally it was wooden for safety reason and a headband which proved to be far more trouble with all of that dark hair. He had been content leaving it in the braid, however the lady disagreed and bullied him into letting her loosely tie it in a high ponytail.

It was a struggle but damn well worth it. Slipping from out behind the curtain Marco "There, now lets get going." the older brother said not waiting for the peanut gallery's commentary over his attire. The garment had loosened some as he moved a larger blaze had opened at his chest exposing a touch more skin and he felt as thought his hair was everywhere. Still the loose tail held sturdy as ever. Hopefully the costume wouldn't prove be too cumbersome with the activities that the fair had in store. Tugging Nutty off by the hand, he waved off the starry eyes booth attendant and made way for the fair's midway. Games. They were all cheats but easy business to deal with. The elder brother made certain they had a hand at every one at least once, though some they'd done twice and a third time trying to one up the other. When it came to them, their sibling rivalry knew no bounds turning what was suppose to be family fun into all out war. Before they knew it they had an excess of fair junk cluttering their persons, cheap oversized toys, plastic blowup nonsense and enough fish to fill a damn aquarium. Dragging the brat along some more Marco moved away from the rides intending not to go anywhere near those death traps. He figured they could unload some of this crap either by giving it away to some other brats -though he was keeping his fish- or putting it in the car, then they could eat, shop around and then end this farce of quality time.

club :: sleazebag and the nosey do-gooder :: The cheek!

Crap! Jamie tried to put as much distance as he could from the sleazebag, although he was restrict by the crowds and the grip on his arm. He was used to getting himself into pickles. He had learnt long ago to get himself out of situations like this. It was very rare that anyone swooped to your rescue. There wasn't such a thing as a knight in shining armour. Jaime considered his options. He could give the creep a good slap or fling his drink in his face. But that would for one be a waste of a good drink as well as getting him a one way ticket out of his job. The manager at the club was very particular about how to treat paying customers and this guy, grotesque as he was, was obviously flashing the cash.

Just when he Jaime was about to sod all the rules and slap the guy anyway, something quite strange happened. The guy from earlier appeared. Jaime blinked, dumbfounded. But quickly his mind found its way back and gave him a good elbow in the ribs. As if it were the most natural thing in the world, Jaime smiled and wrapped his arms around the male's waist. "No honey, this guy was just complimenting my dancing." Although he could see where this was going, Jaime couldn't help but think pessimistically. The guy wasn't exactly tall and over-loaded with muscles. Yet the drunk looked at the dark haired man with wide eyes and slowly withdrew his hand. "Sorry mate..." He slurred before pushing himself away from the bar and into the throng.

Jaime watched him walking away, slowly caressing his hero's chest with his fingertips, until the harasser was well out of sight. He then proceeded to ungratefully shove the guy away. "What do you think you're playing at!" He hissed ungratefully, readjusting his top. Sure he had saved him from the drunk, but Jaime was sure he had only done it so he could give him a lecture about what he had seen in the alley. He flashed the guy a cold glare over his shoulder before downing his drink.

User ImageRaphael kept his composure through it all, it has been a solid six months since his last relationship had gone down in flames; even for a second, it almost felt nice to be close to someone like that again. But it was only an act, and certainly not the time to even be thinking it, just - it was one of those moments where fingertips grazed over an itch he had willed himself to ignore. Especially when the drunk withdrew - even if he was slimy and sweaty, he couldn't have been an entirely bad man to respect a relationship - the way that the stranger's fingertips moved across his chest felt entirely more intimate than what it was, with the thoughts and implications of the timer intensifying everything about the exchange.

He was actual sort of grateful for the shove at the end. Even if it was a shock, it was a good wake-up call. "Gee, you're welcome, " though the words didn't sound sarcastic rolling off his lips; just a playful edge with no bite. Raphael edged a little closer to the dancer, because obviously it was loud in there and that was the only reason. "Listen, about the alley... no, wait, forget that, " he waved his hand in the air. That bridge could wait, especially since he couldn't exactly apologize for interrupting a drug deal. So he changed gears. "Your dance was really... "

Now he probably sounded like the drunkard he'd just chased off. Raphael sighed, running his fingers through his hair before holding his wrist out for his would-be companion to see. "What I'm really trying to say is, my name is Raphael, " he flashed him a tentative smile, hoping he wouldn't earn another shove, "and we match."

"Aw I bet he is just as cute as his older brother." The red head said with a grin. "I see so I take it; you haven't been home in a while?" The red head sighed. "I haven't been home in a while myself." Talking about his own homeland got him thinking about all those yummy sweet treats and tea along with good wine. The only down side was that memories of his mother were attached with the place. He listened as the other male spoke about were he performed his amazing fire abilities. He wondered if he should ask Xander to tag along he was sure the photographer would be interested in getting some photos. "I will have to come and check you out. Are you performing any more today?" He asked after all his afternoon was free, and he didn't mind spending that time with the green haired male who sat before him.

He listened as the other male said it was impossible to pick his favorite place that each place was special to him. Now that he thought about it, he could understand his logic, he hadn't been many places but the places he had travailed to there were always a memory he could place with it that was special to him. Trlivarian said something about a picture box, and the red head smiled. "I would love to take you up on that offer sometime." The redhead answered smiling, he would like seeing pictures from the other male's travels. Ferd watched as the male moved his hand to his neck when asked about being burned apparently this was a sore topic for him. He was curious to learn the wear about of said burns but given the other's reaction he thought better of it. The redhead's face turned a deeper shade of pink as he looked into the other's lovely green eyes. He could look into those eyes for a long time. However, he was a little glad the door jingled and those green eyes turned away from his own given him time to breath. The red head didn't turn as he picked up his tea cup and downed the rest of his tea.

Ferdinand jumped at the sudden beeping noise that seemed to be coming from the Russian. He thought it might be a phone, and the other male didn't seem to pay it any attention. He was a little take a back that the male hadn't answered his phone. Surely, that was another plus for the green haired and green eyed male before him. Today's world was drive buy technology and almost everyone had a cell phone glued to there ear. He smiled when asked what it was that he liked. "Let's see." The red head said bringing his hand up to his mouth and tapping in upper lip with his index finger. "Well I enjoy gardening. I love roses. I enjoy a good cup of tea." The male said lifting the now empty cup of tea. "I also enjoy designing clothes as you can tell by that book." He was going to continue when someone appeared standing at their table. The male wiggled his nose in disgust at the mention of coffee. As the new comer motioned to his timer, he realized that it wasn't his phone that had been going off but his timer. Ferdinand golden eyes widened slightly he looked between the two of them. He really didn't see the two of them together but maybe that was because he was a little jealous. He was starting to wonder if he should stay or if he should go as he felt a little uneasy unsure what he should do with himself.

Dorian nodded smiling. "Like wise." The raven haired male answered not having a name to call the other male by. He wasn't sure if he should bring that up or that the gray haired male just didn't like giving out his name. Oh well he seemed like a nice enough guy to be moving in next door. Given the fact that he hadn't noticed anyone had moved in next door the guy was quiet so that was good. He couldn't deal with the loud music playing types that acted like they were the only ones who lived in the building. The gray haired male then introduced himself as Ruvel. Aw so he would be getting a name after all Dorian thought to himself as he smiled.

He shook his head no. "No, it's no bother at all." He could remember the pains of moving in it was a lot of work. Unpacking all that stuff got tiring and then having to cook or order take out. All you wanted to do was eat and crash for the night. So it was the least he could do was offer the guy a hot meal. The male then said that he had a nice place. "Thanks" He replied not sure what to say about the decor of his apartment. "How much have you unpacked so far?" Dorian asked curiously. "If you need any help moving in something heavy let me know. I don't mind helping that can be tricky." He offered. Looking at Ruvel more closely he could tell the male was a little nervous it was kind of amusing. Dorian made his way to the kitchen and pushed the sliding doing open. He stopped looking around the kitchen it was a bit of a mess. He had forgotten that the kitchen was in this shape and wasn't something company should see. He turned. "Sorry about the mess Hunter cooked." Dorian said with a awkward laugh of his own, and he quickly moved around the kitchen picking up dirty dishing and moving them over to the sink. He then motioned to Ruvel to have a seat it would seem that Hunter had eaten already so his place was clean.

Once the other male was seated Dor set about getting a plate he dished out food on a clean plate sitting it down long with silverware before the gray haired male and then went over to the refrigerator. "So what do you want to drink?" He asked as he listened what was in his refrigerator currently to drink. He would have to make a stop by the store to pick up a few things that the raven-haired male had used to re-stoke his refrigerator.

“Alfred!” At the top of her lung no one could miss his mother’s call. The strong British accent only cushioned the realization that if he didn’t remove his lovely arse from his current domain his mother would soon storm in like he’d just killed the queen. “Not even an extra-“ Alastair mumbled, watching the door tap danced against the wall; in deepest respect he wanted to avoid what coming next. He wasted no time making his escape before his mother took notice of his absence from the scene. A mother who after nineteen years of rearing should have known what was to follow; Alastair had never been the one to do as he was told and he never seemed to take his punishment without a battle of destructive proportions. Though, that was of little importance for inside the room as to be expected, Alastair was no where to be seen.

The sad fact of the matter it wasn't the fear of punishment he was currently running from but, the nagging feeling that his mother would be requesting his help. The Nook, wasn't a bad shop. With a nice field cottage appearance and graced with fresh flowers tended by his mother on a daily bases. The book store was her dream, no matter how dust infested it seemed to become. As of recent thing had begun to change, with alastair out of high school and on the road to independence; it was obvious that this shop was quickly becoming her life. The same went for his father who had been baking since he was ten. Alastair though loved; was no longer a fitting piece in their puzzle. Spending at least every four out seven nights alone, he was learning to accommodate his new lifestyle and that's where the neighbors came in.

Alastair had stashed himself into the closet while his mother stalked around swearing. Sitting back among his clothes he started checking his facebook but, it was a small chat box on the toolbar of the phone that made his day brighter. It was the one and only one sided crush of his life, Toru Thomas. He'd been out of the closet for some time but, it wasn't out there that he had found himself head over heels stupid in love with Toru. He'd been his best friend for the last thirteen years. It was hard to just pop up and say 'Hey, I'm stupid in love. How do you feel?' Alistair sighed and started typing out his reply.

                                                  To: Toru Teddy
                                                  From: Holmes

                                                  So, there.

Alistair waited until his mother was gone before popping out of his rabbits hole. Glancing around he had to be quickly throwing a few thing together and a few trials he found his winning combination. A black faux leather beret served as the beginning of this fashion masterpiece, a pair of generic black cross earrings were joined by black ribbon choker with a small bow on the back of his neck, the violet and black strips off the shoulder sweater came to about lower waist, and below was Alastair's personal favorites of the whole set; A pair of black jean leggings and a pair of report signature thigh high boots.

Throwing his bedroom window open he jumped from the small balcony onto a cement fencing. Though, it was unsafe; Alistair had done it so many times by this point that it no longer mattered. Locking his door he was on his way with wallet and cellphone in hand.

"Morning!" Alistair jumped down surprising the neighbor lady as he hurried down the street. The coffee shop Toru pretty much lived at wasn't to far so, luck was on his side when time wasn't. Pushing the door opened he was a little late but, it was fashionably late in the least. "Caramel Iced Coffee, Please." Alistair waived joining Toru at the table. "Morning, What'cha up too?" Alistair yawned leaning back. His mother had forced his hand this morning. He was still a little sleepy.

Odd had actually watched the entire movie, the plot growing more and more interesting as his eyes started to close for a few moments before he shook himself awake. It had to be the pills that were making him so damn tired, but he couldn't just leave because his bike was at the school. Oh.. s**t, he had left his only form of transportation at the school because he had driven Myung-Dae home. Of course, it would have been funny trying to drive him home on the bike but he didn't really want to be ticketed with human endangerment. Yeah, it was best he took the kid's car. The movie seemed to last forever as he checked the kid's pulse once more before considering him to be alright. Besides, he was probably just passed the hell out from whatever event he'd been at to cause him to miss the class. Kids will be kids, besides it was probably more fun whatever the kid had been doing. Odd turned his eyes back to the fur ball that was now claiming his lap as it rolled into a ball before the thing passed out.

Of course, it didn't take long before Odd finally kept his eyes closed for just a second too long as he too ended up with a quick nap. It was nice to get one in, he'd have to be more careful with the pills next time. The nap was refreshing as a rather interesting smell woke him up before Odd had to readjust to were he was at the moment. At first he would have thought he was at his own home but the kitten that was currently trying to climb up his shirt was a signal he was somewhere else. Of course, after a moment or two it came back to him as the whole thing played out in his head just as Myung-Dae touched his shoulder. He nodded before going to pick up the kitten as he stood and dropped the fur ball back on to the couch before it took off to attack the others. Odd could tell something was up with the kid but he wasn't sure about how to ask, the marks along his neck caught his attention as his eyes followed the marks down to his shoulders before going back to look at the other. "Hey. It's no big, I mean I didn't have plans or anything." He said, trying his best not to come off as a jerk like he had the whole time he had driven the other home. God, he needed to work on his attitude sometimes.

Odd walked into the room as he took a seat at the table, man did the kid know how to cook. There was more food on the table than if Odd had put all his meals for a week together. More words came as Odd tried to think of what to say before his mouth went to speak before he could think. "From the marks on you, I'm pretty sure you're getting it from someone. Besides I don't believe in types and I'm too old for you anyways, you're parents would probably burn me on a stake if they even saw me lay a finger on you." At least he wasn't too mean but damn if only Odd would learn to think over his words before just letting them come out like that. Now, he sounded like an old pervert. Odd picked up the chopstick as he started to eat while he tried to think of something better to say. Anything better to say really. He tried the food which was way better than the mac and cheese he'd have microwaved once he got home. The kid was a rather good cook which in a way surprised him yet still he wanted something to make the kid feel better at least to not look so down about himself.

"You know we are going to talk again because you take my class and you owe me an hour to take your test. Now pick your head up and stop being so down on yourself. Kids party..they get ******** up, they skip, and they sometimes make the worst decision by driving drunk but still. You're not harmed, you didn't harm anyone, and you get to make up your exam." He said, hopefully the kid had forgotten about his previous words and would actually stop looking like an abandoned puppy. Odd went back to eating, figuring that it would probably be best if he filled his mouth so he couldn't talk anymore than to say something he didn't mean or accidentally insult the kid. After he had eaten a plate and a half full of food, he leaned back into the chair as he looked up towards the kid. "If you keep messing with those love bites then they won't fade very fast. What's their name?" He asked, doing his best at small talk as he started to stab a few pieces of the food still left on his plate with the chopstick.
