[ Hotaru Castle - Infirmary ]
Retracting the steaming beverage, Elizabeth couldn't help but inflate like an irritated puffer fish. Did she brew a fresh pot of tea for nothing??
"= 3= That's all right," She sighed, sipping the tea herself. But Tsusaka's tales of her daughter's exploits, however vague they were, brought a warm smile to her face.
"That's good." Elizabeth responded, raising her two-handed tea for another sip. For too long she had wondered the fate of her daughter, the impact a young half-yokai girl would have on the world, and now she had an idea. And boy was she relieved!
But this wasn't odd? This wasn't strange to Tsusaka, the woman who claimed to be Chiharu's mother, appearing less than suspicious?
For a grand mistress of a yokai palace, you'd expect something much more magnificent than the humbly dressed, and furthermore, seemingly human housewife. Furthermore, how could Lord Jiro, a kitsune, be the father of Chiharu, a tanuki? Is Tsusaka wondered, he wouldn't be the only one...
"Oh! Zak-kun. c: Would you like some tea?" She offered. "Also, meet Tsu-- or have you guys already met?" Huh. Brushing through her hair, maybe it was Lizzy herself who was out of the mingle. They had only recently inquired help of the unemployed oni Zak, who normally took jobs for the demigod Itsuki, and surprisingly none from his own kind.
"Oh, you're a lifesaver Zak! With those big wigs showing up out of nowhere, it's no doubt my husbando will want some kinda big banquet." Lizzy suspected, spinning her finger sarcastically.
"Say, that's right...?" She peeked down at Tsusaka, hands at her waist. "How are you buddy-buddy with legends as Momotaro and Urashima Taro? I don't think I ever read about you in any story..." She pondered, tapping her lip. "And my dad sure told a lot of stories..."
