Ingrid stood waiting in the engine room patiently for Phage’s return, but it would seem that the ship was getting much livelier due to her little stunt earlier. She was completely unaware what was unfolding in the canteen right now, and having been given no order to move from this spot, Ingrid found herself analyzing the engine and its generator as a way to pass the time. It wasn’t long before the android could hear the echo of boots coming down the hall. Other than noticing the sound above the constant hum of the engine in its idle state, the foot-falls garnered little attention from her. It wasn’t until she heard them suddenly ambling into the engine room that she realized she wasn’t alone.

"You know, generally, only the ship's mechanic comes down here. That used to be me, but now we have a new one, and she was a lot taller than you."
A voice suddenly rang out above the sound of the idle engines. Ingrid finally pulled herself from inspecting the turbine’s parts to glance around the room. Her blues abruptly landed on the figure of a taller male with cropped hair, and metallic limbs. The android’s bio-sensors went to work scanning him as he approached. They confirmed he was a Sullain male, seemingly of the third generation. Which made Ingrid a little uneasy due to her being partially made from nargaskian technology and she was well aware of relations between the two races. "Oh! You must be the droid Phage was talking about. My bad, beautiful." He chimed at her, his earlier defensive demeanor melted away. He went on to introduce himself as Lagiacrus Render, the ship’s gunner. Ingrid input this data in to the bank she was already compiling on information regarding the Hellgazer, but she made sure to omit the ladies man part.

The Sullain asked what her name was, but clarified he was looking for her handle name rather than a designation. –Something about making flirting hard to do. Ingrid almost inwardly sighed; he reminded her of one or two of her former owners. She had no idea why some sentients felt the need to express such affections onto non-sentient objects. She watched Render closely as the male leaned onto one of the combustion pipes. She quirked an eyebrow at him, but stood up straight and went onto to introduce herself like she would to anyone she’d be serving under.

“—it’s a pleasure to meet you, Master Render. My alternative handle is currently Ingrid. You can address me as so, if you like…”—She clasped her hands together in front of her and gave a proper little bow; whether he was Sullain or not, she had a job to do. “What brings you to the engine room? Is it something I may assist you with?” She had a feeling she’d regret asking…

It was difficult to tell whether this artificial intelligence was programed to be polite in such a manner or if it simply didn't like him. From his experience anyone who treated him this courteously weren't all that fond of his company and were only trying to be done with him as soon as possible. Then again this was an A.I. he was considering, so the odds were it was probably just the programming. Probably. "It's no matter really. We came to an... understanding." Ronan said pausing a moment on the last word a smugly satisfied smile tugging at this lips. "Ronan Vaelorn, at your service." the Xechion said formally introducing himself to the artificial intelligence. "And what is it you go by if you don't mind me asking?" he inquired finding it only fair that he learn as much information as he gave. Not to mention this was an intriguing vessel alone, 'If only I could get a look at the inner workings.' Ro thought to himself as the A.I. rambled on about the ships previous history, boasting three different crews that had manned it. Whether that was a good thing or not was all subjective, but there hadn't been time to dwell on the matter.

A strange, yet distance sound seemed to rumbled through the hull of the vessel catching the holographic projection's interet momentarily. "Something... like an explosion." Ronan supplemented completing the thought, though it was more for his own benefit. He had a tendency to talk aloud to himself after all. There was no doubt in his mind though that something had exploded the sound a familiar melody to his sensitive ears. Nevertheless they moved ever forward eventually reaching the ship's canteen where and interesting scene was unfolding. A brow quirked curiously at the sight of Monfae female draped over the L'ia. Certainly wasn't a sight one saw regularly, not that Lorn had any objections to the pair other than he wasn't as cozy as they were. Perhaps a drink for himself would fix that. Might as well considering the A.I. had ditched him there leaving the crew to see to him. Though that may not have been all the wise considering that these two were indulging themselves. Nevertheless the Xechion moved to join them.

And out of nowhere it seemed Lorn had come face to, well chest essentially with another female by the looks of it. "Well pardon me." It took a moment for him to recognize what she was, but when it hit him it was all too obvious. A Nargaskian beauty one of his more favored Races. Striking visually with their towering frames and intellectually superior, what was there not to favor? Lorn lingered in her path only long enough to like what he saw before stepping back to let her pass. She apparently hadn't been focused on much other than what she was scribbling down on the notepad she carried.

Ru blinked at Kyo as she tensed. His hand still resting on her hip. His eyes looking between the parties involved. Watching the Monfae with interest. She seemed to feel far too tense when she got irritated. Well. She HAD tensed up. He'd have to remember that at a later time. Never good to piss off the quartermaster. Or beautiful women. He flushed a little at the thought of drunken lovers and stiffened as she rested her head against the side of his neck. She certainly seemed to be feeling...comfortable. And then she started drinking. For real. Ru's eyes widened a bit more. Dear lord this was not... there... she had laid out a detailed plan but now it seemed she was throwing it to the wind. He became aware of the fact he wasn't talking.

Dear god did she have to be stroking his neck? That was sensitive and it felt....t..it felt good! Oh darn it all he was getting into a huff now. His cheeks glowing a bit more. But he thought he heard....
"S..sorry... a tiny alien woman who is teasing my neck and is very attractive. That being said Kyo... I think it best you not get overly hammered...your plan isn't too far gone."
When Phage came in he flushed more and set Kyo aside. Trying to straighten up and act as embarrassed as he could. It wasn't that hard. He cleared his throat as Phage mentioned them being draped together. He thought he may have heard...task at hand, Ru. He slid back a bit in his seat. He flushed at Kyo, hiding his face but giving a wink. They still looked like a guilty party. Just dumb drunken guilty parties. They'd looked more drunk than they were. Which meant they'd be underestimated. Now it was up to Kyo to hopefully work her magic. Ru then cleared his throat, playing host to Ronan.
"Pardon our manners. Would you like a drink? And pardon me while I ask Phage something."

He took out his datapad, writing a quick message to Phage. If Kyp kept hers hidden this might be a bit easier. But whatever was the case, he'd have to have a talking with Ingrid... it didn't seem likely she'd.... well her presets had changed.

=Playing drunk. Guest doesn't realize you can see everywhere. Also. Was that an explosion?=

He put the datapad back into his jacket's inner pocket. Hopefully Phage and Kyo could work out the best ways to negotiate or deal with this man. If Ingrid had or hadn't stolen the stuff was a moot point. They'd done worse. But getting caught...damage control needed to be done.
Ru wondered if he shouldn't have learned to mimic poisonous plants. He didn't have any, so he'd just have to pour the man a drink.

Kyo. Phage. Whatever this guy does it's up to you now...

"Oh, shhhh." Kyo exhaled with a soft laugh into Ru's ear (or whatever it is he hears from). Monfae physiology was strange. She could easily get liquored up due to her small stature, but most human liquor took a lot more than the libations natural to her race and a few others. She wasn't a scientist so she didn't know exactly how it worked, but she knew one thing: she was only buzzed, enough to give a believable tint to her cheeks and scent to her exhalation, but not enough for her to lose her cool. Kyo very rarely lost her cool. Even when the things she did didn't seem quite deliberate, they usually were. She thought briefly to herself that at that moment she wasn't really sure what she was doing, not completely, but it felt nice to not be so rigid for once. She went with it.

As the Xechion entered with Phage, she delicately pushed herself from Ru's lap. She was able to walk just fine, so the alcohol hadn't affected her motor functions, thankfully. She went over to her box and got another glass that matched the two her and Ru were sharing. Her blush from alcohol could easily be misconstrued as one of embarrassment, which worked for her. She tucked a strand of dark hair behind her ear as she leaned forward to take the bottle of liquid from Ru. She poured a single shot into the glass, looking over at the Xechion,

"Your name is Ronan, isn't it? A handsome Xechion that deals in the buying and selling of things. I've heard of you. We've never met, but I've heard of you." She narrowed her eyes, a strange smile on her face, "The question is, whether you can handle a drinking contest with a Monfae and a Li'a. My guess is that the answer is no." Her smile grew, toothier, and she raised her eyebrows in challenge. "We could play my favorite game. A game of secrets. For each single shot you swallow, you are allowed to ask one of us a question and we have to answer honestly. For every double shot one of us swallows, the same goes. I think that makes it fair since there's two of us and one of you, yes?" She didn't wait for his to response, pausing to make direct eye contact with him a moment before sliding back in next to Ru, giving him a playful, flirtatious look.

Things were heating up and quickly on The Soul's Oasis for our crew, with tension mounting on both ends, as a gunfight might be about to ensue at the bar, and Ingrid coming dangerously close to being discovered for her crimes. However, all of this would seem minor in only a few short minutes. Overall it had been an average day on the station, some crimes had been committed, people had been shot, stabbed, gone missing, and who knows what else, but there was one thing out of the ordinary today. A Federation flagship Venus was scheduled to come into port with the station for maintenance and to pick up a special person, it had entered orbit about an hour ago. Hence why the authorities played a blind eye to the spectacles that had been going on that revolved around our crew, they were simply...busy. Now might ask, what were they busy doing? Trying to make it seem like things weren't as crazy on board as the rumors told? In manner of speaking. Then why wouldn't they be paying extra attention to crime? Because crime is something that is going to occur naturally on any big station, especially one this big, so there wasn't really a point in doing things any different than normal in that regard, just make it seem like they were actively trying to deal with the problem. The real issue was the person the flagship had come to retrieve. You see the station had been playing Devil's Advocate for years now between the Federation, Secrii, Nargaskians, Sullain, and whoever could find they had problems with someone else. Today it was between the Federation and Secrii, only the station had been aiding the Secrii this time, and let's just say they pushed too many buttons, and came to the present result. The Governor of the station was to be tried with treason, and the flagship was there to collect, and instate a new Governor of course. Unfortunately it would never get such a chance.

They never appeared on the radar. Or at least no one saw them appear on the radar before it was too late. They flew over the view windows of the Southwest promenade, where our Captain was located. One or two ahead of the rest, appearing as mere shadows passing over the station, then the rest showed up, casting a cold darkness over the station as they passed. It only lasted a few seconds, but those few seconds could've felt like a liftetime for those there to witness the event in person. They continued to fly, ever closer to the Venus once they'd passed the station, unclear as to what their purpose might've been. But things would soon become all to clear. One by one these creatures began to ram straight into the Flagship like suicide bombers. Although, this could not be seen by the naked eye. It wasn't even until fire began to erupt from the Venus that anyone on the station could tell it was being attacked. Like a swarm these creatures continued this act of flying straight into the ship until finally it could take no more. The creatures undoubtedly flying into vital parts of the ship, causing it to buckle and break, and eventually explode. The blast rang out for all to hear, making those who were unaware of the event, quite aware that something was very wrong.

Within moments of causing the Venus to erupt in fire, the creatures began to make their return towards the station. One or two by chance landed on the viewing glass of the promenade giving the goers below a full view of what could've caused such destruction with such ease. It appeared about 10 ft long, with six appendages protruding from it's body, wings spread from it's back totaling somewhere at 7 ft themselves, antennae coming from it's head along with a pair of mandibles where one could assume it's mouth was to be. It's skin was glossy and like that of no other race inhabiting the system.

It was a giant bug to make it simple.

It resembled such that of a Yellow Jacket, Wasp, or Hornet from Earth, only much larger than said organisms. It's landing was short, it's mandibles twitched as it watched the people below, screaming, moving about, dumbstruck, they were doing many things in it's presence. But, it's landing as I said was short, or cut short specifically by the activation of the stations Thoron shielding. It activated, shocking the creature, literally, and sending it into an irritated state, causing it to rejoin it's brethren now flying in close proximity to the station. Needless to say they began to do to the station just what they did to the Venus. Ram into it. The shielding didn't seem to even slow the creatures down, they just went right through it, making a gaping hole in the station, and unbeknownst before, but all too realizable to the onlookers who watched as the Venus be destroyed by these beings. The creatures did not die from committing this act, they went completely through the station, and would return for another dive, making them appear to be indestructible.

    What came next was chaos.

One by one the creatures continually dived through the station causing an ever increasing amount of damage to mount. It was only a matter of time before something vital was hit causing a similar scenario to the Venus to occur, or the station just lost all oxygen from it being vented out into space. The shielding would slow that process down, but the holes the creatures were creating were forming very rapidly so it was hard for the bridge crew to keep up at first. Then the bridge tower was hit, so now the shielding couldn't keep up at all. Immediately after the first bug hit panic became present. Everyone was running and screaming in attempts to escape somehow. Systems were failing, oxygen was leaving, and everyone else just made the whole situation worse. Ships began flying frantically around the station trying to avoid the creatures and escape, some successful, but most to no avail, being torn asunder by the creatures as well. All the while half of our crew was just now becoming aware of what was going on, while the other began to make a mad dash for something. They were running out of time, they needed to get out of there, and fast.

Devyn was relieved that the situation between the three of them was beginning to resolve when a fourth person showed up... the weird guy from the bar. He was definitely... eccentric, to say the least. When he touched her hair and claimed it was actually nothing like the fire it apparently resembled, she raised an eyebrow at him wondering if he was being serious. Apparently he was, because he moved on to Jek and repeated a similar process. It was... peculiar.

But it was not, by far, the most peculiar thing to happen. Just as the captain was about to speak to inquire about the newcomer, a long shadow cast over them, obscuring the rays of light from the system's star. Her face scrunched up in confusion as she followed the shadows with her eyes to the promenade, the confusion only growing as she tried to figure out what was happening. It was punishable by being immediately blown up to fly so closely to the station, but she had never seen such small vessels before... and that was when the star's light was completely blocked off as a thick sea of the strange things flew by the window. "What the hell...?" she questioned, turning to the promenade fully.

She glanced back at Jek to see if he had any idea what was going on before taking several stops forwards, stopping at the window to see if she could get a better vantage point on them. She couldn't make out specifics in the wall of them though, but soon they turned away from the station, flying directly towards the Federation starship that had been loitering around outside of the station all day. It became more and more difficult to discern them from the blackness of space other than a moving shadow across the stars as they approached the ship, so she couldn't make out what they were doing. "What's that all about?" she asked as she turned back around, her brows furrowed as she tried to figure it out. She'd never seen anything like that before. It was new... and new wasn't always good.

Her question was answered as a proximity explosion shook the station, the resounding boom echoing throughout. Dev quickly spun back around, her green eyes widening in shock as she watched the large, powerful ship buckling after the attack, flames spewing out from it as it slowly crumpled away from itself from multiple explosions. "Oh, mo Dhia," she said softly, impressed by the fact that anything had taken down a ship of that stature. It had been the Venus, Phage had told her of its presence as they entered the sector. It was why they needed to be on their best behavior... it was supposed to be a flagship, which means it would be top of the line in its class. But it had been thoroughly destroyed in less than a moment.

And then the shadow was coming back towards the Soul's Oasis. She jumped as one of the creatures landed on the promenade in front of her, hand falling to her pistol as she took a step back and looked it over. It was... it was a bug? "Jek, what are these things?" she asked, hoping he would have any idea what it was. The swarm of them had just taken down the Venus, that much she was sure of. She didn't know how or why, but she knew they were dangerous. It didn't help that they looked like giant wasps. In fact, it made them even more alien to look at. It had a good four feet on her in height. This was the first she had ever even considered an insectoid race to exist, and it had within moments of appearing made itself to be known as a threat. And it was just staring at them all, like she was staring at it. People were screaming and running around already, but it was just watching. Like it was studying them while the others waited nearby.

And then the Thoron shields of the station activated. The few that had attached themselves to the station shook off and rejoined the rest of them. She had no idea how many there actually were, but they were all headed right for the station now. Dev shielded her face as one broke through the glass of the promenade off to the right of where their group was standing, showering them with sharp shards, having gone straight through the shielding as if it were just a bubble. Now she understood how they took down that ship so easily. It would take them longer to destroy the station, but only because of its size.

"We need to move, now!" she called out as she removed her pistol from its holster, turning to the rest of the group. "The station won't last long against an attack like this, we need to make it to the Hellgazer," it may not have been her place to order the small group, considering none of them were a part of her crew, but they definitely couldn't stick around to see this through. She began sprinting off towards the docks, fumbling through the pack on her belt for the communications device she kept on hand for when she needed to get in contact with the ship. The station had officially gone dark as the bugs apparently hit the lighting hub of the inner workings, so now the only light was that from the system's star peeking in through the holes the bugs were creating and the flashing red emergency lights.

"Phage! This is Devyn, I'm on my way towards the ship," she yelled into the device, the sounds of screaming, crumbling buildings, and multiple explosions echoed through the station. "We need to be ready to get the heck out of dodge as soon as we get there!" She was forced to stumble into a slide to stop short as one of the bugs ripped through the street in front of them, making a gaping hole down the path. Dev grimaced at the loss of the quickest route there as she stood back up, looking around for another way. "Damn it, scratch that, we're going to have to detour and I'm not sure how long that'll take. These bug things are ripping through the station like it's wet paper. They took down the Venus within seconds like this, I don't even want to consider how long the Hellgazer would last under that kind of assault. Just get out of here, I'll find another way off the station. You still have that glider of yours, Jek?" she turned her attention him, glancing towards white haired man that had followed along with them. "What about you? Got a ship we can escape on?" She had several small cuts lacing down her arms from the glass of the promenade and one across her chin, which she wiped the blood from as she very impatiently awaited an answer, bouncing on her feet. "We're not safe standing around here."

Whilst Kyo and Ru saw to Ronan, Phage returned to the bridge to discover the source of that explosion. Only to find that his fears had been realized. Something was going on and it wasn't good, because all the chatter on every frequency was just people shouting back and forth at each other in a state of panic. Apparently some kind of insectoid species had shown up out of nowhere and caused a Federation flagship to explode in a matter of seconds. What's worse was, now they were headed back to the station. At that exact moment a million things seemed to begin descending upon Phage all at once. Ru had sent him a message asking what was going on, the comm frequency was still going off with all the craziness of what had just happened, and now that he'd flipped on the view screen he could actually see the creature, the explosion, and all hell breaking loose before him. The creatures mentioned from before were now ramming themselves into the station without a second thought, cutting through it like a knife, leaving massive chasms wherever they struck. Finally a spot of good news hit with the Captain sending him a transmission. "I'm glad you're alright Captain, the ship will depart once you're aboard." He said only for her to make a change of plans. "Yes, Captain. I'm plotting a course to a nearby system, I'll send you the coordinates, and we will wait there for you to arrive." He said in response to her orders. That's when the realization hit him, they were still clamped to the station. They weren't the only ones either, the comm chatter was still going insane with people screaming to be released from the station, only to be responded to by panicked cries of the stations crew doing their best to keep up with the whole situation. There was no point in trying to sift through that mess and lay in a request for departure with all this mess going on.

After a moment of this all the chatter went dark. As if a sign from God, he turned to see the bridge tower had been destroyed by the creatures. They couldn't be released anymore, they were going to have to force their way from the station. Before beginning anything too drastic Phage gave everyone on board the heads up. "Attention, all crew, and passengers. The Soul's Oasis has come under attack by and unknown threat, and it and our own safety are being brought into question. The captain has ordered us to leave and plans to meet up with us at a designated rendezvous point. The bridge crew of the station has been compromised forcing me to have to break from the stations clamps without release. Mr. Render please take position on one of the guns, Doctor Elias, make your way to the med bay, and everyone else remain where you are until we have reached safety. Until told otherwise, prepare for evasive maneuvers, and brace for impact." He said aloud on the intercoms of the ship. He cracked his neck, or rather did something of the fashion to suit his holographic form. Things were about to get dicey, there was no way around it. He didn't want to leave the captain but orders were orders, and the longer they stayed, the less likely they were to get out alive. He gave everyone a moment or so to get ready for the next moves, he knew Lagi, and Ru wouldn't be in positions yet, but there was no time to waste. He cut on the engines and tore from the station with a jolt. That hurt.
He thought, turning the ship about and readying for departure. He was going to have to do several process at once, piloting the ship, working the other two guns along with Lagi, and making sure not to kill anyone onboard. It would be a challenge indeed to get through all of this. But, he did like challenges.

With a course laid in all he needed to do was get out of the carnage, but that was easier said than done. He sent the coordinates to Devyn, and began their push forward. The creatures were everywhere, hitting not only the station but other ships trying to escape the area, leaving a field of debris to dodge on top of the creatures themselves, and other ships in their situation. He brought the starboard side up to dodge some wreckage and the cut a sharp right as one of the creatures came forth. "Mr.Render I'd appreciate some assistance." He said firing the beam weapon at one of the creatures that was cutting around. It seemed unphased by the shot as it continued it's course, causing him to steer the ship upward. "I hate today." He muttered, shooting the ship forward to make a break through two more ships. They had a long way to go before they were out of this one. They were simply out of the frying pan and into the fire.

Jekirato watched and waited for the shotgun wielding woman to say something but rather a strange man walked up. He wasn't ignoring Devy at this time he just had a gun pointed at him. This strange man presumed to touch Jekirato. Now in almost every other circumstance this would not be met well. Jekirato did not like being touched. The shotgun was slightly more pressing but it still made something twirk in his blood. The woman seemed to be stuck in some sort of though as though she was deciding on how to respond when they were interrupted. However Jekirato had missed the initial sighting of the bugs he however was promptly angled to view the exploding ship. This caused him to quickly draw the enforcer and place a slug in the shotgun to send it flying. That ship being destroyed so mysteriously like that was not just a sign of something bad to come. Sure enough these wasp looking bugs appeared. Jekirato could smell their intent for violence. He re-hoisted the bounty onto his shoulder sending another charge through the Skaarj chains to make sure he stayed unconscious.

He watched the others begin heading toward Devy's ship which would seem natural he however was not about to leave his own.
"Hey Devy we should partner up again just like old times? I'll meet you outside and follow you guys try and keep these bastards of your larger rig." He began heading toward where his ship was stored when the sound of ripping metal and air blasting suddenly came from the direction of Devyn and the other guy. He quickly looked back feeling a bit more reassured to see her unharmed. He could actually say he knew the other man so it wasn't that he didn't care just not as much.

He cursed his luck Devy was allowed in his ship but others where not. However considering the circumstances he would make an exception at least for today. Might as well take advantage of the chaos at the moment as well and steal fuel and supplies he was going to buy with this hunk of meat on his back anyway. If all turned out well he could go turn in this bounty and walk away with the full payment and all the goods.
"Devy... and um.... YOU follow me." Jekirato had used a private hangar that he had been renting so his ship was left alone by those curious peoples. Of course that was partially forced on him when last time one of those curious people, who was likely trying to steal something, ended up dead. Something about a booby trapped ship that people didn't like.

Jekirato was not trying to take his time in fact he was all out sprinting the only reason he didn't completely loose the other two was cause of his luggage. As they moved the hatchway directly in front was only barely open. It seemed a large cargo box had been knocked over and was stopping it from falling. He glanced back to see a bug rip through the area they had just been. If that girl with the shotgun was still there well she just became space dust. In fact he could already feel the pull of the air escaping on him. He tossed the luggage through then grabbed the two following and pushed them through. On the other side was has special glider Grisagrola At the moment it was mostly lacking in fuel and ammunition but the glider was always something that caught peoples attention. It looked nothing alike what other races made for their ships. Purely metal and not made to look particularly fancy. Also every single bit of it had purpose. The nicest part about his ship was it was a glider but it was a lot faster than most people realized.

The Stamp on the side showed what race the ship was a part of. The Razik claws the basic symbol the Skaarj seemed to worship. There was also a small panel on the side that had small red Razik claws floating and slowly spinning in a circle. Obviously a computer access panel. The other fortunate part was that his glider was so close to where they had just been and not clear across the station. He tossed the bounty next to the floating razik claws,
"Alright lets roll fuel and supplies in here I have a feeling the stations not gonna need them and the tank is on empty." He said while quickly grabbing a hose from the wall and attaching it to the ship where he could fuel the beast up. They didn't have a lot of time but they likely didn't need a huge amount of time either. Once the hose was connected he began fueling. In the meantime he was hoping they would roll some barrels of fuel and those special crystals to the ship. There where several boxes of them on a rolling cart just waiting to be taken. They fetched a nice price there was nothing wrong with taking something that would just become space debris. At least this was Jekirato's train of thought. "Hey um.. new guy wheel those crates over here. Devy roll some barrels of spare fuel on." As he finished pumping the fuel into the glider he ran grabbed a bunch of parts from a table that he had put to the side earlier for repairs anyway. Now they were conveniently free. He had lowered a ramp so that the stuff could get moved straight into the ship. He then went in put the parts in a container like unit that to anyone else would look like a part of the ships engine. He then hoisted the prey to the very back of the tube like compartment and strapped him in. This made both of his legs and arms outward and stretched so his body formed an X. He then hopped in the chair and said some commands in his language. Sounding something like Wroot wort Warrgraoort. Of course most species couldn't begin to comprehend the skaarj language or even attempt to speak it. So the Skaarj where convenient picked up other languages. The ship hummed to life rather quickly and he looked back. There was only one more chair so he looked at the newer guy. The interior of his craft was alike to a single tube. There were strange strings hanging from about that looked like strings of moss, and the metal around the interior was all specifically metal no real extra design to it. In fact the moss looking appendages where anything but they had specific purposes as well but the making of Skaarj ships and their mechanics was pretty much only known to them. Hey new guy it might be a little uncomfortable but if you grab onto those two loops right there the #@$%@$%@$ (WAarrro Rooorowoort) will wrap around you and keep you solid so you wont take any injuries." Of course what wasn't mentioned is that Jekirato will have to release the man later. Time was not their ally, but that was soon to be taken care of. The door began opening and a few bugs smashed holes around the hangar the ship was in. It was falling apart. So a few guns and the door was completely opened. His glider was not slow once the primary thruster roared to life like a mad behemoth the interior of the station simply vanished and around them was a field of debris and bug things.

Thankfully he cranked to full speed and the bugs where not expecting his launch. Simple speaking they where not fast enough to attack the glider from the sides or rear their only hope was to come from the front and hope to peg him. In a matter of seconds that was no longer possible either. To the passengers nothing seemed to change. However on the outside the fast ship was just gone. Jekirato smiled as the cloaking device he had commandeered worked at least for a second. The ship shook for a second, although nothing had been hit and they became visible again. Jekirato blamed the ship but other than cursing in his language. which he fully did do. He had not ime to actually get angry at the glider.

"Ingrid, huh? Cute name for a cute droid. Fits pretty well." Lagi said, smirking slightly. He was about to continue his normal flirting ways when he was interupted by an explosion. Lagi sighed and closed his mouth, cracking his neck and knuckles just as Phage requested assitance. "Well, Ingrid. Looks like you'll be getting to see the stuff we all get up to. Feel free to follow me if you like art." Lagi suggested, turning to leave. It took him vey little time to reach the bridge, even having enough time to grab a set of headphones. Lagi calmly strode into the bridge and took his seat, plugging the headphones into the control panel. "What's the problem? Can't handle a few bugs, Phage?" Lagi teased, bringing up his firing solutions. "Let's see what I can do." Lagi narrowed his eyes at the display and gripped the controls. In rapid succession, he fired off several shots from the main gun, each shot hitting perfectly dead center. Lagi was about to begin his usual bragging, but he saw that the bugs barely even flinched at the shots. "The ********? These assholes are too tough?" Lagi said, the growing rage in his voice growing more noticable. "Fine. If we can't blast em...Phage, I want a not point not six inaccuracy on your guns. Aim for their sides. If we can't kill these assholes, we can at least push them away from us. Set all energy outputs to an increase of fifty four point not two. Any plasma you can shape, shape it like a wedge." As Lagi barked his firing orders, he redoubled his attitude, staring down the screen. "Embarrass me in front of a babe, will you?" He growled to himself as he began matching his firing commands, attempting to divert the ramming course the bugs had so they'd miss.

Dev's comm pinged as Phage sent in the coordinates he had decided on to her as she wheeled on the fuel for Jekirato, prompting her to pause momentarily to read it before continuing her task. They were operating on what she would consider borrowed time now, but the glider would need fuel before they could make it anywhere. That's why she wasn't complaining about doing the job, but if they spent any more time on this she'd definitely have some choice words to say. She could hear the station falling apart around them... definitely not something she wanted to stick around to see the end of.

"Alright, fuel's loaded," she called out to Jek as she finished up, strands of her fiery hair falling out at random from the loose bun it had been in. "Let's get the hell outta here, yeah?" she asked sarcastically as she slid into the chair behind Jek's, letting the mechanisms lock in place around her. She wasn't too sure how much the new guy was gonna enjoy the craft's strange holding things, but they had little other options. She was just glad that Jek was letting him escape with them, considering how he was with his ship. She offered the white haired man her best reassuring smile and winked at him, trying to encourage him to go along with it. "No worries, it's totally safe. Had it used on me once."

She figured that was as settled as it was gonna get, so she turned her attention back to the front of the glider and to Jek. "I forwarded the coordinates on to you, we'll need to meet up with the Hellgazer there, unless there have been complications," she informed him, fiddling with the comms device again. It was strange how some things managed to repeat themselves. Even though there was an entire galaxy to be in, she and Jek were once again in a fight or flight situation, using his glider as their means of escape. If he hadn't been around, she wasn't too sure about how she would've made it off the station, because she wasn't going to force the Hellgazer to stick around when everything was going to hell. There was no use in condemning it alongside of the station. People can say what they want about her, but she knows when to be serious, and she'd not do that to her crew.

The thrusters of his ship activated with a roar, shooting them out of the hangar and away from the crumbling station and its attackers. Dev was relieved to find that they had actually managed to make it off of the station, but she was still unsure that they were out of trouble. She hadn't heard from Phage in a while, and those bugs... something really bothered her about them, but she couldn't place it. She let Jek focus on flying them out of there as she began speaking into her comm again, trying to get a hold of Phage. "Phage, you there? We've made it off the station, but we're not outta hell yet. You guys fairing okay, or do you want us to try and provide some cover fire? We're in a Skaarj glider, so we can maneuver a lot easier than you." She was fairly certain the Hellgazer crew could handle themselves, but if they needed help, she was gonna do everything she could to provide it.

Just as the sullain finished complimenting her ‘name’, a loud and jarring explosion could be heard rumbling outside the ship. Ingrid paused for a moment to scan the station’s network for any strange activity or information regarding the abrupt sound. So far the station’s network continued to hum routinely. –But then, there was spikes in information coming in and out of the Oasis’s network, most if not all were comms channels buzzing online. Ingrid zeroed in, and could definitely deduce that something was not right. A moment later, Phage chimed on over the ship’s intercom confirming her suspicions. He warned of an attack that was taking place, and began instructing the crew and its passengers. Lagicrus was requested at the turrets, meaning they’d have to put pleasantries aside for now.

Ingrid could barely register Phage’s alert, though; as comms traffic was pilling up on the station’s network. Suddenly, and ominously, the activity on the network dropped; signaling that one of the towers must have gone out. The droid wondered what or who could possibly cause that. Luckily, Lagiacrus invited Ingrid to follow him up to the bridge to view ‘art’ as he put it. She could only assume he was referring to his shooting prowess. “Right—“ Ingrid nodded at him solidly as the ship’s gunner began making his way for the door. She followed after him with light footed steps, keeping up with the swiftly moving sullain. The android did slightly stumble here and there as the ship broke away from the dock and began maneuvering wildly. Soon enough they arrived at the bridge, and Render coolly took his seat at his station, setting up his headset and firing up the gun controls.

Meanwhile the chaos going on over the main view screen called Ingrid’s attention. She stood near the command chair and steadied herself by a nearby panel as Phage and the gunner made their best effort to avoid being pummeled by oncoming hostiles. From what Ingrid could see of the figures whizzing past the nose of the ship; they appeared to be some kind of giant insects. Her systems searched her data bank for any kind of information her archive could have on them, but the search yielded nothing. “—What are they?” Ingrid muttered in what could be described as fearful awe. Lagia seemed confident enough in his abilities but the creatures were unphased by the direct attacks. ‘—armor?’ The droid thought silently, allowing the crew to concentrate on steering them safely out of death’s grasp. While the A.I continued maneuvering the Hellgazer with little margin for error, the gunner adjusted his tactic, and instructed the ship’s computer to modify his fire to disrupt the incoming assailants trajectory. His serious tone was cut short as he went back to concentrating on firing and muttering something about being embarrassed. Ingrid on the other hand was just busy trying not to be toppled over by the manuvers being made by the ship, as more creatures came near to glancing off the outer hull.

Ru listened as Kyo stated the terms and the conditions of the game. It seemed like it was going to be a fun evening... until the swarm came. When the alert came his lips curled into a frown. He set Kyo aside, pouring a cup of water and handing it to her. Cold.
"Here. Sad to say you'll need to be as sober as you can get it sounds."
He looked at Ronan and then just gave a little growl as Phage mentioned maneuvers. Looking between the two of them.
"Hang on. Sounds like it'll be bumpy."
Ru didn't move fast often. But when he did it looked more like a wave than a walk as the plants that made up his body swayed int he motion. He rushed right into the medbay. Hitting a button to turn on the lights. He prepped anything he could. Exposure, lacerations, bruising. With ship battles and crashes the chances of encountering anything was too great. He strapped down what he could, and took sterilized his hands before he sighed and sat down.

It was the waiting he hated. He didn't know where Ingrid was, which made him worry. And Kyo and the passenger were there alone. But Kyo knew martial arts. So. She should be fine. He hated waiting. Sure he didn't want to see anyone get hurt but he'd like to be more useful. But for now all he could do was cross one leg over the other and sit there. Seething and impotent. He clicked his datapad, and accessed some of the outboard cameras. His jaw fell at what he saw. The swarm, merciless and tenacious. And he heard the screaming.
"....s...s**t...isn't there anything we can do for them...."
It went against every fiber of doctor he had in his body to see people hurt and not be able to heal. His hand clenched tightly. Knuckles tense as he turned off the data pad. Just brace. Just wait.

The following event registered as nothing more than a blur. The minute long seconds blurred into a single memory. Adriel took a quick glance behind him, as he instinctively followed his newly met acquaintances before him. The station was shrouded in a living darkness, partially illuminated by the explosive death of hundreds just outside the Soul's Oasis. He returned his focus in front of him, running and keeping up, avoiding the destructive creatures flying about along with the rubble and death. This was all too much for Adriel's head to take. The painful spikes of emotions that suddenly disappeared, they left a dull ache lingering in him. The continuous red flashing lights all added to the disorienting sensation, but he pressed on, not letting any distance grow between him and the others.

Suddenly the group was forced to halt as a creature he had spotted out of the corner of his eye disappeared below, and rise up before them, ripping through their path like wet paper. They all looked at each other. Adriel ran his hand through his white hair. "What about you? Got a ship we can escape on?" He shook his head, and sighed. He had come here with nothing, for he had nothing of his own with the exception of the very suit on his body. The large green man named Jek took the lead, showing the path to his glider. They continued to run and run, with all their beings, attempting to escape the entombing of the station.

It seemed as though they had finally arrived, but not before another one of those flying creatures ripped through the platform directly behind them. He felt the presence of a stressed out girl fade away. Adriel looked back and saw the blonde was no longer there. Adriel stood there in shock. His eyes widened. Staring at the gaping hole, he was rocked out of his mindless state. "Hey um.. new guy wheel those crates over here." The Viralian shut his eyes and quickly turned around and made his way towards the crates and placed them all on a hovering lift. Following Dev, he drove the crates up the ramp of Jek's glider. Adriel threw the lift out of the glider and met Jek and Dev.

"Hey new guy it might be a little uncomfortable but if you grab onto those two loops right there..."
        "No worries, it's totally safe..."

Adriel nodded, and stepped inside the aircraft. Trusting their word, he approached the strange loops and grasped them in his hands. For a moment nothing happened.

        "Excuse m-- uh ah!"

The vines began wrapping around Adriel working their way down his arms, gripping him tightly. He winced as the harness finished restraining him. Suddenly the engine revved to life. The thrusters roared. And with a hard jolt they shot out of the hangar, leaving behind a crumbling and infested station. Relief washed over him. It had been a while since he was stuck in a pinch like that. However, they may have evaded the danger - the threat was still there. Adriel took in a deep breath and nervously smiled as he bounced around.

        "So, where are we going?"

Sidestepping the towering beauty, Ronan's attention was diverted back on two cozy strangers who had evidently realized their was other company than just them. The L'ia was the first to address him offering the Xechion a drink though was immediately distracted by some important message he needed to send. It was the Monfae female who really poured on the charm and give Ronan the kind of greeting he liked. "It appears my reputation proceeds me, Ronan Vaelorn at your service." he said crossing an arm about his chest giving the lady a polite bow a wry smile quirking on his lips as his dark eyes scanned over her. Her kind were a mysterious sort for which he rarely had the pleasure of coming across in his travels, though he'd heard a tale or two. "You know of me well enough, certainly I must know you." stated thinking more aloud to himself than asking for answer.

Ro searched his own thoughts as a strange smile pulled on the woman's lips, devious and alluring. That's when the pieces began to click and fall into place. "Those are some bold words, Kylora isn't it?" he quirked her an equally mysterious smile remembering the often notoriously vague mentions of the Monfae. Not much was really said about her, only that she wasn't one any novice would want to bargain with. "To think I finally get to meet the blackmarket beauty herself, no less participate in a drinking contest with." This was certainly a pleasant twist to things only it didn't last very long.

Suddenly the ship was on high alert with everyone essential manning their stations as apparently they needed to make a hasty break. The Xechion's dark slate eyes followed the doctor as he made for the med bay before falling back on the dark haired woman they being the only too left in the canteen. "Still think you can drink me under the table? he quirked playfully challenging look at the Monfae utterly unperturbed by the situation that was unfolding. It wasn't that he wasn't worried, but trips like these weren't uncommon in his line of business. Death was always knocking at the door and as such Ronan ignored the b*****d going about his business so to speak. Though now it seemed he'd become a passenger aboard the unique vessel, not that he cared he needed a new ride anyways.

With some pressure alleviated now that Lagi was actually manning the guns, Phage could focus on piloting the ship primarily. Of course now he was getting requests from Lagi, now that he realized the gravity of the situation. It was quite amusing to see him appear with such a cocky attitude and have it stripped away so quickly, and what's better he was trying to impress Ingrid with the 'Top Gun' routine. Apparently not even the ships gunner was capable of effectively killing the creatures that the A.I. had already attempted a shot at. But who was Phage to complain? He made the adjustments specified, and fired once more at one of the oncoming creatures. Still to avail, as the creatures just pressed on through the guns firing cycle, and maintained it's course. "It seems that had no effect Mr. Render." Phage stated blankly maneuvering the ship out of the creatures way. In the process however another creature had it's course marked perpendicular to their current heading, sending it straight through the hull. The ship shook as it began to vent oxygen before Phage could seal the hole with shielding. The situation was only getting worse by the minute, but all essential system were still functional. They just had a gaping hole going through the ship. "My layout is reading that the creature went through the mess hall, hopefully no one was hit." He stated, hoping for the best. "They appear to be some sort of insectoid race impervious to our weaponry," He said addressing Ingrid's blank question, and her presence on the bridge, "would you please man the other gun, Ingrid, so I have another set of eyes." They were going to have to jump from this hell, but they needed to get clear before they could do that. Some relief came in the form of a transmission from Dev.

"I believe we can manage, but we have been hit." He said replying to her transmission. Her being on a Skaarj glider clearly indicated that Jekirato was with her, or vice versa. Just more fuel to the fire. He thought rolling his eyes. Unless of course the captain had made friends with another being of the same race...which was going extinct. No it was more than likely Jekirato. "Captain we're currently above the station, I'm about to make a dash for a clearing to jump, if you can meet us before we do you'll be able to tag along." He said maneuvering the ship around another one that was dead in the water. With every second more and more ships were being destroyed, making it ever harder for them to effectively get out of this mess, and jump away. With any luck though, the Captain and Jekirato could guide them through this. This ship wasn't made to make so many evasive maneuvers in such succession, if they had to keep dodging things like this this ship would likely tear itself apart. Besides at the current state everyone aboard was being thrown around if they weren't holding onto something. He pushed the ship forward, passing by one of the station's residential pylons, engulfed in flames. The station itself was beginning to crumble in a similar fashion of the Venus, it wouldn't be too much longer now before it exploded, and took anything in the direct vicinity with it. "No time to lose." He said pushing the engines even harder, pushing them away from the station. Two more ships remained dead in front of them. He hated it, but he used the beam to blow up the wreckage along with any survivors on board. He couldn't afford to move the ship around them at the risk of them coming apart. With the wreckage cleared, he prepped the ship to jump, in their current state, they'd probably wind up stuck in the water for a bit afterwards while they made repairs. Better there than here though.

The ships drive whirred with life, and sent a rumble through the entire ship. It's power requirements were sufficiently met, and it's connection to the engine was stable. Phage locked in the coordinates of desire, and allowed the ship to do the rest. The engines shut down for a mere second, before returning to life with a greater force than they showed before. In a flash the Hellgazer was gone, leaving this Hell of an oasis behind it.
