Elijah seemed to have picked a more precarious spot for Nasrin to ask his questions than first intended. This was probably the exact reason she gave the type of answer she did. Although he didn't mind being in ear shot of a few people since it meant that they'd be able to judge his questions as thus not just rush in blade drawn when they seemed to be gone to long. The determent was that their might have been other ears tracking their conversation for less protective reasons. Still though it could have been that she was going to dodge the question either way. With a slight sigh the male would push on behind his dark skinned companion, bag in tow and blade in hand. To ensure that he was not make to much noise even while carrying most of what he owned, Elijah followed Nasrin's steps through a path and once he saw her crouch to the ground he would follow suit and wait as she assessed the ground. Like he'd assumed, she was more the tracker to him who was just an assistant at this point. After a few moments she would prompt him to look down at her discovery. Prints, that all seemed to gather around a certain set of foliage. This was apparently the discovery his sandy haired companion had been waiting for as she quickly went to work to get a trap set up. By now of course they were far enough that she would have been able to answer his question if she wanted, and with how she responded before he was quite sure that she hadn't forgotten at all. As the trap was completed The emerald eyed male would take in his surroundings again, looking back in the direction of camp when Nasrin asked something that caught his attention.

“Do you smell smoke?” She said as she stepped further in the opposite direction of camp. Taking a few deep breaths, Elijah would turn his attention to Nasrin and nod in compliance. Elijah my not have known how to track small woodland creatures properly, but he knew enough to know that whoever started this fire was up wind and not that much farther ahead. Staying close to her back and keeping a lookout as she pressed forward. After a bit more of cautioned tracking, the two would come upon what seemed to be a wandering group, a caravan. This was even rarer a sight then how many people they came into contact with when you considered their location in the mountains. Either way it was a sure thing at least that this group of travelers were setting for the night as well and a meal was being prepared. After staking it out for a bit and without a word Nasrin would abandon her covered position and press forward into the grouped together carriages. Rather than calling her back though, Elijah pressed forward with her with his blade in hand as well.Of course it was now that he was in a slightly uncomfortable situation that the would on his chest would start to act up. Not that he was in any pain since he'd been dressing his everyday to stave off infection, but it was itching slightly from carrying his bag for so long. This was something that was quickly pushed to the back of his mind as they were approaching the middle of the caravan's formation.

"Well we're her and most certainly will be spotted soon. We both know what it will come to if they're not friendly, but lets hope that maybe so food is up for trade." Elijah would say in a whisper, but optimistically. At the very least he was hoping they'd be friendly. From a more realistic standpoint, a caravan of this size could easily hold fifty people all which could be ready to take up arms if they weren't careful.

Nasrin moved away from the camp to continue their conversation as well as to obtain food. Sebastian answered her wave with a small one of his own. He was slightly frustrated with his injury and not being able to follow, but it would look rather suspicious if he had done so. Besides Nasrin was perfectly capable on her own. Sebastian was just curious as to how the exchange would play out.

“So, what are you an’ the missus bound to Lenti for?”

“It's the closest town, and we need rest after our last escapade into the caverns. It would be nice to have a bed to sleep on.”
Sebastian said not looking up from his book. He heard the word missus and ignored it. The man could just use the word to refer to women in generally or he could be implying that they were a married couple. That was not a new concept to him. Many people had assumed that they were. To them it seemed to be a logical explanation for a man and woman to be traveling together. They had used that to there advantage a few times.

“Do you have an aversion to mountain cities or is the question simply spurred by curiosity?” Sebastian looked up then, taking in the man's reaction. He doubted he would get much from him. He was a rather solid faced man, and didn't give much away through expression.

Tobias was not particularly surprised by the nonreaction from Sebastian, though he was disappointed. He quite enjoyed tormenting people when the opportunity arose. Torture was much less socially acceptable, after all. But Sebastian just explained it was the closest town. After their adventure in the caverns, a warm bed was certainly something to look forward to.

Do you have an aversion to mountain cities,” queried the blond, finally removing his gaze and peering toward Tobias. “or is the question simply spurred by curiosity?

Tobias’ slate grey eyes met Sebastian’s own gaze, before he cracked a forced smile and shook his head. No, he had nothing against any town. Excepting the one he had today escaped from, of course, since murdering someone in front of a crowd usually carried a stiff penalty. But he had no plans to return to that backwater mountain town. Pushing himself away from the oak, Tobias moved closer to the small fire Sebastian had forged, adjusting some of the wood fuel.

Nah, I’m quite alright with cities,” he replied, briefly sounded as though he were about to elaborate on that point, but moved on. “I was just.. curious, yes.

The previous smirk his countenance held faded. He had hoped for a more honest answer, but what was he actually expecting. If his suspicions about his present company were correct, then honesty was not something that was to be expected. He could respect that, so long as they respect his own want not to answer questions. That was usually an issue. But there were ways to resolve it becoming one, as his gaze briefly wandered to the young man’s stiff, outstretched leg. Like Nasrin, the birds had managed to land a blow on the blond, and the injury looked somewhat discomforting thus far. Nasrin had used the poultice she had acquired to remedy that, so Tobias figured since he was in no dire need of it, he’d offer it as a token of goodwill.

Here,” he called, producing the small healing item from his person and tossing it toward Sebastian. “I’d prefer we all be well and able, should something... happen...

He grinned knowningly, but quickly sprung back up. Despite the cloth wrapped tightly around his thigh, he was none the worse for wear. The rogue had long ago given up the limp gimp act. Tobias tended to forget is own façades, but in this case he just felt there was no point in maintaining it. He only kept the bloodied bandages on in case they ran into some saps. People, present company excepted, were all too willing to help others. Kindness was not well understood by Tobias, but he did use it when the situation required.

So, while the two young men waited for the return of their meagre hunting party, Tobias walked over to a nearby shrub and picked a few of the fruit from it. While most fruits were safe in these parts, there were a few that could leave an unwary traveler with a bad case of diarrhoea the next day. Thankfully, having grown up in these parts, he at least knew how not to kill himself. When he made the short waltz back around the tree, he offered a few of the small berries to Sebastian, but not before munching on a few of them himself.

Mei Dagher

Artemist Priestess

Location: Spring xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Activity: Getting dressed, completely

User Image

Dressing herself was indeed one of Mei’s higher priorities right now. The thick priest robe so far was doing its job of drying her wet body decently, but she could still feel it would take a bit longer before she would be completely dried up. For now it was enough to put her undergarment on without soaking that in an instant. Which was good enough for her as it felt weird to wear just her priestly robes, at least in the presence of others. However just as she decided to reply to Dae’elis on this matter she found herself interrupted by the clear sound of someone approaching them through the forest in a rapid pace. Quickly she turned her head and right away caught sight of this person running towards them. A man, youthful appearance, but with grey hair were the main features she noticed before the man tripped in his haste and literally rolled past them into the spring itself. With slight surprise she turned herself to face the man and could clearly see that the new visitor to the spring, was definitely more surprised of this turn of events then either her or Dea’elis were. But what followed would change this rapidly.

Once again the scholar spoke up before Mei could herself, this time however the words that left the lips were not ones she understood. A circle of fire sprung into being around the man in the spring in a mere second after the last word had left the scholars lips. It was not touching the man, not yet at least, but its presence was nonetheless threatening in the priest eyes. But it was not this that caused a mixture of shock and surprise form on Mei’s face. Magic was not new to her, that this scholar could use magic was not surprising either, but the words, the incantation used. She had no idea on the meaning of it, yet she the language was not unfamiliar with her. Could it be? Her gaze had shifted from the man to the scholar who had spoken up again and was no moving in between her and the stranger. For a moment she found herself dazed, her mind occupied with the possibility that was just revealed in front of her.

A new string of words coming from the scholars lip however quickly snapped her out of it. She made a good point, from who or what did this man run from and why? Dea’elis was right to be cautious here and she seemed to have the situation under control for now. Either way, she was not going to come in between them right now no matter her new-found curiosity towards Dea’elis. As the scholar pointed out, she should get dressed first here.“I see you got this under control, so yes, if you will excuse me.“ With those soft words spoken she let her gaze linger for a few more seconds on the woman before turning herself around so her back would be faced towards the stranger and the obstacles in between that blocked his view. Without hesitation she started to untie the cloth to disrobe herself, letting her priestly robes fall down on the ground before taking up her undergarments and starting the process of dressing herself properly.

Resuia looked at the furry thing. She had no idea what it was but it gave her more kindness in one slobbery kiss than she had had in her whole life in that desert cage crawling with roaches. Come to think of it she'd been through so many strange things since she had taken to travelling with the Blue Caravan, she wondered why she was still surprised by strange happenings anymore. But if she left maybe she could just forget it all.

She could go back to being normal. Yes, an excellent plan. And she wanted this thing with her. The courtesan jumped onto her feet and threw her arms around the furry white camels long sturdy neck like a palm tree and smelled her fur. It smelled like an animal, but warmth and comfort too. "Whoever tied you up will be so sorry." She cooed as she undid the leather reigns and freed the animal. It deserved to be free.

Not really knowing what to do she turned to stare at the water's reflection in the bucket. She unclenched her white knuckled fist and dropped the green stone into the water. Slowly at first but with a vengeful thirst the water was down from filling the bucket to being a few lonely drops clinging to the sides. Useful indeed, though whether almost having her life taken to find out that her little knick knack was so much more than its appearance was good or not was still up in the air.

Well that was one mystery solved, she took the stone and shoved it into her shirt. She had no pockets for which to speak after all. "What do you say huh? Let's go find a nice village and set up a farm or something." As if seeking the creatures approval.

A discovery this curious demanded a closer look, and she did take her time. She wandered through the encampment at an unhurried pace, eyes roaming. There was no need to linger on the outskirts like a vagrant, she reasoned. What had she to hide? A great deal, truth be told, but as far as she knew she had no quarrel with these people. Their approach to travel demanded attention, but it also demanded remembrance. She certainly would have had memory of encountering it in the past.

Wagons were not an uncommon sight, nor were groups of them, but the color of these was downright unusual. It was only natural to wonder how they’d come to be this way. Intrigued, she ran a hand along the side of one of the many wagons assembled in the clearing. She scrutinized her fingers after doing so, looking to see if the color had rubbed off. “Put that away,” Nasrin murmured, casting a fleeting glance at the several women convened around a fire. Her statement was directed at the weapon that had manifested in Elijah’s hand, and her mouth scarcely moved as the words passed through her lips.

No gesture was given to indicate that she had addressed him. One might have had the impression that she was merely speaking to herself, but she continued on in the same low voice, making it evident that this was her intent. “You’ll only draw suspicion,” she advised, gently. “We’re humble travelers, Elijah, trying to scratch out a living. Like these folk we’re still far from the nearest town, and if they happen to be in the very fix we currently find ourselves in, they might not be so willing to trade with us. Provisions are worth more than gold in the wild places of the world.”

Pausing, she set both hands on her hips, mind working as she chewed the blade of meadow grass clenched between her teeth. These folk wouldn’t be so foolish as to accept their findings from the tower in exchange for food, which was most precious when the nearest town was still days away. Her experience with these lands was not great, and because of this the terrain and plant life was mostly unfamiliar, prompting her to turn to the next source of sustenance. Though she had already set one trap in the woods, she couldn’t count that it would snare anything. Even if worked as she hoped she would be surprised if the trap didn’t break in the process.

Then came the matter of the wagons in the clearing. They struck her as practical and she imagined they offered comfort, a fragment of civilization. The road was not for those of weak disposition. It didn’t seem as though the same hand had crafted them all. Individually they were unique, and such was the case of a dark brown wagon that bore blue patches, as if the wood had decided to change color on a whim. The steps descending from the door hovered above the ground, and a beckoning sign drew Nasrin nearer. A sweet fragrance filled her nose when she ducked inside. “Hello?” The lighting was dim, and she lingered in the doorway as her eyes adjusted. She discerned the shapes of jars on the walls.

indentAs they traveled, Fatima began to see Maria less as a traveling companion and more as a friend. With her ribs healed and her body ready for fighting, the two had shared knowledge in the fighting arts. Fatima was especially impressed with how Maria was able to fight with her axe. Combined with her ability to create magic shields, Maria was a fierce opponent. Fatima thought about extending an offer to have Maria join her in bounty hunting. With another person, hunting those that did wrong would be substantially easier, and far less dangerous.

indentIn their travel, Fatima had felt uneasy about their traveling companions. The same suspicions she had when they first met were still had. Most of them seemed to be hiding something, but she wasn't able to discern what it was. She made up her mind that her and Maria should leave when the group next made camp. She wouldn't make a big commotion over the leave, just explain that she felt she should part ways to pursue a bounty she knew was hiding in the area. It was a lie, but she doubted anyone would be able to call her out on it.

indentWhen she had finished saddling Sadie, she walked over to the fire. Maria, Tobias and Sebastian were seated around it. Tobias and Sebastian were in conversation, seemingly about the destinations ahead and the motive for it. She tapped Maria on her shoulder, and motioned for the woman to follow her. When they had a little distance away, she began to convey her plan, in a whisper. "I'm sure you feel the same, that we should leave the group. I have Sadie all ready to go, all we need to do is give a reason. I'm planning on saying that there's a bounty hiding in this area that I was pursuing before I met them. Which isn't entirely untrue, I was hunting a rapist." she waited a moment before continuing. "What do you think?"

Oliver heard one of the women speak a strange language, and then a ring of fire surrounded him. Wait, fire? On the surface of water? As he calmed, slightly, he realized that the woman might have used magic. As he heard her warning, he was sure that indeed he was trapped in a circle of magic fire. He raised his hands to show he was unarmed and meant no harm, and slowly began to stand up. He had a little trouble in some of the slippery rocks, but eventually he was standing.

"I..I was...one of the guards accused me of being an assassin," he said, a bit fast. "I tried to explain that it was a mistake, I was trying to hit the creature that was attacking Velius, but hitting a moving target with a knife while you're also moving is a very difficult thing to do!" He could feel his hands shaking, and took a couple deep breaths to calm himself. He didn't feel as if he was in any real danger here. The woman was simply protecting herself and...a priestess? He looked at the priestess before she slipped out of sight to change. Her robes weren't anything like a priestess of the Children of the Light. Was she an Artemist priestess, or some other religion? He decided to save these questions for later.

"Please, if you can help me get back to the caravan safely, it'd be much appreciated. I'm not sure what's gotten into Caden, or if he's even following me. He intends to kill me! Please, I'll make sure you're rewarded in some way." he said, clasping his hands together in a begging motion. He hoped that the woman would say yes. He even began to say a prayer to Christos in his mind, which he didn't do often.

His eyes began taking a more thorough look at the campfire, and as they did so they caught another pair as they were turning away. Velius paused to watch. It was well out of his earshot, but he could see the apology forming on her lips as the raven haired woman excused herself to leave. He was tempted to follow, and he even allowed Nesa to go on without him while he lingered behind briefly to watch Halima disappear like a shadow behind a wagon, but then he was distracted by a flaxen swath that flashed in the opposite direction. Who might that be? He took a step forward to see if the change in angle might him discern the answer, but whoever that person was, they were long gone. His mind returned to Halima and an image of Parun coloured his thoughts. I hope she's running off to help the spear fellow and not to run away from me.

He resolved to continue with the option of joining the others at the campfire. "Your soup smells delicious," he commented simply as he pulled himself into a sitting position beside Kemun on her rug, all to get a better look as she worked at her creation. "When will it be ready?" he asked with a rub of his hands. "If there's anything I miss from home, it's the readiness of instant gratification. I'm starved!"

While his hunger waited on the news, he turned his eyes next towards Nesa, who in turn was comforting a sobbing Willa. Oh Mother. Velius tried to resist rolling his eyes, and failed. "You've got sand in your eyes, woman?" he piped in as he watched her fidget. The words were cruel, but the tone was not, though in terms of the level of kindness, it paled in comparison with Nesa's handling of the pregnant woman so far. "There's no reason to be blurring your eyes like that. You're not a fountain, keep them to yourself. If you're ever confused, keep in mind that a healthy baby is one that can cry when it's born. If you use up all of your tears, you're leaving none for your baby." He'd been around when he brother Atticus had been born, as well as the servants of the household telling him that as a child. Telling him that crying was natural. It bothered him now as much as it did then.

"Nesa mentioned the talent show, right? Willaaa dearest." He got up to relocate himself beside her. "I heard you have some magical talents and you haven't shown them to me yet. Shame. But since Nesa will be holding a show, you might as well show us something about what you might do." If you can't get someone to stop, distract them. "Go on," he urged her with a slight brush of his knuckles against her arm.

Sebastian watched as the black haired man gave a smile and move towards the fire. The blonde simply nodded when the man affirmed being curious. Half the questions people asked were for the sake of curiosity, though curiosity tended to lead towards other things. Sebastian's eyes turned back to his book then ready to continue his reading.

“Here.” Sebastian turned and found something was being tossed to him he caught it and peered at it, but explanation was quickly given. “I’d prefer we all be well and able, should something... happen...”

Sebastian was a little shocked by the gift, but he gave a nod and a “Thank you,” all the same. He folded shut the journal then and set it aside. He untied his bandage as the man walked away. He worked to cut away his stitches with his knife. He didn't want his body to heal with thread it. Then he applied the poultice and put the bottle in his bag. It could be useful at some point. He could feel a sort of itch in his wound which he assumed was from the excelled healing. It would be odd the to look down in a few hours and find nothing but a scar, maybe not even that. He wasn't sure how extensive the healing would be. He would be glad to gain back normal movement.

The man came back offering some berries to Sebastian he was slightly suspicious at the offered food, but took them anyway with a nod of thanks. He popped a few in his mouth after the man had eaten some. He finished them off quickly and returned to his journal, peering at its pages.

For a moment, the man seemed confused by what Aiden was saying. At least, he didn't get what Aiden was talking about when he talked about him trying to kill the man. It was then that he seemed to get it, as he explained he had actually been trying to shoot a rabbit. For a moment, a blank look passed over Aiden's face as it suddenly became clear what had really been going on. The he let out a laugh. "Well, yeh sure had me and the other guy fooled. I thought for sure yeh were going to shoot him." he said, chuckling a bit. The next comment brought a bigger smile to Aiden's face. Appeared out of nowhere was pretty much exactly what had happened to him, as far as he was concerned. "Yeh'd be surprised about how true that is. But I don't think I should tell yeh the tale right here." he said. He pulled his bag off his shoulder, and tossed it over it to the man. A great show of trust, but not really. Aiden was probably far better at moving over broken and difficult terrain then this guy. If he decided to bolt with his gems, he was fairly sure he could catch him easily. "Take a look inside of that, and tell me if it makes any sense to yeh that I would take a stroll through the forest alone with that on my back." He did this as a way of making the man see that he really wasn't a threat, which is what he could see the man was trying to find out if he was. If he was a danger, then why was he walking around a forest with a sack full of gems on his back, rather then taking a road? Of course, he could think he was a thief. But where around here would someone find that many gems?

The next thing brought another chuckle from him. Obviously, the man had missed the sarcasm in his words. Either that, or it had just been too subtle. In any case, he wanted to make sure the man knew what he had really meant. Aiden shook his head. "Oh yes..." he said, this time the sarcasm coming through quite clear. "Pretty much every random person I come across in a forest owes me money." He then shook his head and spoke more plainly. "I was joking. I've never seen that man before in my life."

Aiden shrugged his shoulders to the mans next response. "Sure, if yeh want too. Doesn't really matter either way to me. I'm just looking for some people to travel with. With that bag of gems, I'd rather not take my chances over the mountains alone." he said. He unloaded his crossbow, loosed the string, and then slung it onto his shoulder. "Maybe yeh can help me with that? I know there's a town around here somewhere, but I don't have a map or anything to help me find my way. If I get there, I might be able to find a trade Caravan and get them to let me join them on the grounds of I can cook."

Why don't you let me Be
Leave me Alone
You start a fire Inside
That I could never Control
You wanna see a Reaction?

The situation hadn't gone sour mostly in part that the two had yet to be spotted. This was was only luck though, and luck the two continued to press as they pressed further into the perimeter of wagons colored to mimic the sky. Elijah had been in tough situations before, some where people were already looking to cut his throat. Still it was profit that lead him into those situations and the desire to spend it that urged him out of them. This was different though as a it seemed he followed out of nothing more but obligation not to abandon his traveling partner while she was guided by a cat curiosity.

“Put that away, you’ll only draw suspicion,” Nasrin would say never taking her eyes away from the caravan. Voices crept in the air from varying directions, or different pitches and tones. This was a hint that not only were they not alone, but that whoever was around did not know they were there either. Sighing, Elijah could see Nasrin's reasoning for telling him to not seem so hostile while in unfamiliar territory. Still though it wasn't like he'd just leave it ouut of arms reach and be defenseless against the first dagger to be drawn. Fastening the scabbard back to his waist Elijah would keep his hands clear of it and follow Nasrin, as they rounded yet another wagon. “We’re humble travelers, Elijah, trying to scratch out a living. Like these folk we’re still far from the nearest town, and if they happen to be in the very fix we currently find ourselves in, they might not be so willing to trade with us. Provisions are worth more than gold in the wild places of the world.” She would continue on gently. It was clear now the route she wanted to take with this band and not necessarily a bad decision considering that if things did go south they'd be badly out numbered and if things did go well they'd be leaving with food. She would finally stop at what had to be one of the more peculiar wagons of the bunch as it was poke'a'dotted.

"I guess I'll cover you from out here. Just be careful." Elijah would say quietly as Nasrin started to ascend the stairs of the peculiar caravan. He heard her offer greeting to whoever was inside and he would press his back to the wagon side next to the door so he would be in a place to react and get her out in case things got hostile.Turning his eyes back in the direction the fire, Elijah would try to focus his listening on the voices to discern a rough number of how many people were about. What ever was roasting the fire smelled amazing though that might have been due to the light meals that everyone has had to endure in the days after the tower. 'Here's hoping everything goes well. No matter the wealth, no one can get by off gold alone.' The violet haired male thought as his stomach grumbled in protest.

Nesa made a mental note that the lady didn't like touching very. She flinched away from Nesa's hand Nesa pulled back and settle her hands in her lap. She smiled when the woman began talking. She nodded when she talked of carrying for a baby. It took quite a bit of resistance not to extend a comforting hand.

“Kemun's right. The idea may be frightening, but it isn't too hard. If you do find it difficult you can always ask for help. You have a few months to prepare for the baby. You have plenty of time to learn what you need to, and we're here to answer any questions you have. If we don't have the answer we'll help you find it. There's no need to stress.” Nesa said giving a smile. She hoped her words gave reassurance.

“Now I regret to say that I haven't learned your name yet.” Nesa said. She was rather annoyed with herself about that fact. She liked to learn everyone's names. “I'm Nesa.” She waited for the girl's response.

Then Velius joined in talking of food. Though his words were true, the food smelled delicious. Nesa would have to remember to thank her. Then Velius began talking to Willa. Nesa sucked in a breath ready to berate the man for his words, but to her surprise they were kind and almost sweet. Well they were as kind as Velius could make them. Being a person of comfort wasn't his best skill. She looked at him, raising an eyebrow and giving a smirk.

Velius change the subject quickly after that. The words of comfort had been said and he was ready to move away from feelings. He moved onto the talent show, and Nesa glanced nervously at Willa. Nesa hoped that the girl would be okay with Velius poking at her to show a trick.

“I can show something first if you'd like?”
Nesa offered hoping that would help with any nervousness Willa felt.

Willa Odette Wilafax

"I am not fat!"
" Oh that?.......is just....a...watermelon I stole..."

Willa was suddenly overwhelmed with comforting words for the young lady and Kemun. She looked up an around and couldn't quite describe the warm feeling that had come over her. It was something she wasn't sure if she had ever felt. Suddenly, her back hurt worse, because the muscles there were finally starting to relax. She felt safe. She wiped at her eyes. Still ever so embarrassed. “ I didn’t mean to cry. I’m sorry. It just sort of happened.” She apologized wiping at her face. Then Velius showed up and his words meant to be comforting , sent the fear through her. “W...wh..what!” She said looking down at her belly. Had she used too many tears!?! How was she to know how many tears a baby would need. “ Oh No...” She said looking around. “ Is there anyway to give the tears back. Perhaps I should drink some water.” He said looking around for some before being once again distracted by Velius. Who seemed rather unconcerned about the tear situation. Willa pouted.

He had moved closer to her. She blinked at him and looked one as he spoke. What in the world was a talent show? Willa scratched her head. “ Oh. The magic.” She said thinking and looking around for a bit of water. “ You sure that it is okay. I mean that nobody won't mind? “ . She remembered the farmers and the people of Lenti’s reactions to magic and with the pain in her back was not really ready for much excitement. But Velius encouraged her on and or some reason she trusted him. “ Well...” Willa said looking around. She rose and went and got the bucket that Kemun had mentioned before. She looked up at Nesa and her offer to go first. “ Um. No. I can. But...can you help me?” Willa went to the the bucket and found that there was still a bit of water left in it. She smiled and took Nesa and the bucket out of site to the other site of Kemun’s wagon and began to dig a small hole in the ground with her hands. She filled the hole with water. She stood and looked at Nesa. “ Crouch down over the water, quickly.” She then ran back to the campfire, knowing the water in the hole wouldn’t last long she beckoned Kemun and Velius. “ Look quickly. In the bucket.” The remaining water began to shine like the river had that morning and Willa looked down, Hoping to see Nesa, looking back at them.

Medayo paced, unease growing in her belly and weighing on her conscious. The problem laid upon her feet daunting and mysterious, and she turned it over and over in her mind, hoping that it will open up new thoughts, new possibilities, wear it's rough edges away.

This delicious puzzle was wringing her dry. When she found the first small spot upon her wagon, which was quite literally made with her tears and blood, she had thought perhaps a trickster was treading onto unknown territory. A mysterious person who came in the middle of the night to make wagons blue in the way the rest of the caravan was. She did no appreciate his efforts and did her best to keep an eye out for him. But it turns out, there was no such person. The spots seemed to grow and infect the wood, not too deeply but given time surely even the inside of her home would be that obnoxious shade of sky.

No matter the scrapping, the purging, she was even tempted to burn it, it wouldn't come off. In the end her hair was an unpresentable mess and she was walking a trough into her floor boards. And a polkadotted wagon. She prayed to all the demons and gods on the world to quickly cover her wagon in the mysterious blue infection to save the witch this embarrassment.

Medayo combed her hair back, making it at least somewhat decent looking and sighed. Despite the annoyance she was quite intrigued. She even neglected the careful preparation of her little grey experiments that quite a few of them went to waste after the battle in Lenti. Further observation was in order.

"Hello?"

Turning on her heel, to her first real customer, she greeted the woman with a beckoning smile. "What wind blows the sands of the East to the high mountains." She drawled, low and purposeful. "But winds strong or breeze gentle, you won't find what you seek standing at the threshold's edge."
