I've got a question about a few things.

Is plumbing still active?

How about electricity?

Do phones/radios still work?

Or have all of these things been destroyed in the chaos? (broken power lines, blown generators, etc).

right now, they're on the verge of a shutdown of everything.
there's some electricity in various places, but not all of them,
same goes with the plumbing - the city's too big to have just one
central supply of everything, so it depends.
i'd like to say phones and radios don't work...just to have the
survivors get a little bit more conflict...but i don't see why they wouldn't.
what do you think?

I can see no one being there to maintain things as a cause of stuff shutting off. There should be some places with backup generators though, right? Like the Hospitals for instance or any important institute.

I guess the biggest thing should be gas.

Another thing, how many survivors are around, like how devastated would Orlando/ the rest of the world be at this point? Walking Dead bad or is it more like The Last of Us where there are some protected areas? Are cell phones still operational or are we going to assume that cell towers have been brought down? What's the government doing right now? etc. Just want to get a better idea of how the world, or I guess just Florida/ the Eastern seaboard, currently is.

i think cell phones shouldn't be able to work, honestly.

gas is sparse, yes. most of it, if not all, would have been taken chaotically
during the initial panic. as for the people, i imagined it as the last of us,
where there are few protected areas, but they're unbelievably hard to find
and get into. the population of the US would be near three thousand out of
three hundred million.
