Yeah, that is tricky starting out. I guess the beauty of it is that things never necessarily turn out how we expect them to. So long as you enjoy it all the way through, that's all that matters imo.

I actually am joining! I'm just waiting for the last go ahead. My character's called Leon Escher. He's a brilliant seventeen-year-old with a somewhat grim beginning (how original!). He's a calm and calculating individual, and quite refined/polite. On a more personal level, he seems detached to most things around him, and cold to some degree, but never really shows any anger. For someone that appears so collected in everything he does, I hint that there is perhaps something more sinister/twisted going on in his head.

He actually seems a little like my character Vance, who likes to play the apathetic part but is actually a bleeding heart. Both are very refined and just mature overall.

I tend to do introspection with my characters, so you should see plenty of glimpses to what goes on in his noggin. Makes for a neat contrast with how he presents himself to others, I think. :D

Speaking of which, I'm approved! Gonna make a layout and do an intro now.
