you know what I used to do?

well, aside from sketching the same shapes over and over again, wasting many many sheets
of paper just to get proportions decent,

I used to copy pictures of my favorite characters
every detail, every perfect line. at least...I'd try to make it perfect.

anyway, try to mimic another person's style, though it may sound degrading,
it's a very effective way to train your hand/fingers.

the idea would be to try to sketch as fast as you can
spending in a minimal amount of time re-stroking your lines

it takes an EXTENSIVE amount of patience.

believe me, being a rather impatient person
it was much, much harder to try to accomplish my goals with a clouded angry mind.

if you feel you get too frustrated,
you have to stop for a bit.


is a very stressful method sometimes.
but like working out with weights
it's essentially the same~

the more you do it,
the better you'll get
