Exactly why I usually stay away from those or at times go in a frenzy raging over how much they dare to ask.
I once had a guy who dared to come and say "800k for my lineart". It was waist up, smudged, not detailed, amateurishly fat lines and taken with a crappy camera.
Not quite the thing I'd be anxious to pay 800k for ... So I told him so. Crazy thing is, he actually gets his art sold to people for that ammount owo;

And he directs a crew filming reality tv :3
