I finally started watching GX! surprised And...it is surprisingly awesome. eek Rarely does a minute go by without someone making a silly face, blurting out something silly, making silly noises or running into (or creating) a silly situation. It's so nice to laugh at something. 4laugh

And a lot of it pokes fun at the previous show too. For instance:

- Upon discovering that the Awesome-Guy who beat the top duelist in the school in previous episode, will be living in the same dorm as him, Sidekick-Guy gets very excited.

SG: This is so awesome! We must be connected by Fate! Like, we're the reincarnations of an ancient Egyptian Pharaoh and his priest (shows accompanying picture). Can I call you 'Pharaoh?' Pleeeease?

AG: What...? That's kind of weird.

- AG and SG meet the Love Interest for the first time. They have a pleasant chat and turn to return to their dorm, when AG suddenly turns around and runs back toward the girl.

AG: You fell in love with me at first sight, right?

LI: Er...no? I m-mean, not yet. Yes.

- Another interesting part of it is that the hero really and truly does not treat dueling seriously. After totally crushing an opponent's spirit under several tons of metal, he goes "What a nice duel! That was fun!" *skips away*

- And there's another...guy...I think, who apparently knows every language in existence. I've heard French, Spanish, English, Italian and something I didn't recognize from him. When he's in distress, he says "Momma mia!" lol lol
