Actually the Tree Witch just sent Finn to get some princess' hair (when she actually just wants beautiful hair); to make him she started to suck Jake into her bottomless bottom. She had a few different reasons for wanting the hair: one, she is balding and ugly and thinks it will make her beautiful; two, when she gets Finn's hair she says she will use it for evil.
