Honestly, I think you should move on because everything is a learning experience. You learned something from that past relationship but now it's your turn to apply with someone else. If it were really meant to be things will fall into place otherwise why force things that are not natural?

haha I try to be mellow and I've learned from experience. I was always asking out girls and trying so hard. Then I came to the conclusion to let things happen. Best thing that ever happened to me in my life!!!

Seriously it's good advice for example the harder you look for love the harder you're going to fall on your face. Love finds you, not the other way around! So just go with the flow and not force anything.
